Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Hi! Glad i found this thread!

Got my bfp last week - could be anywhere from 5 to 10 weeks preg due to irregular periods but i reckon im about 6 based on ewcm!

Will be a much longed for 2nd rainbow and weve been ttc for a year and only had 3 periods in that time so delighted but terrified.

And yes to awful farts - im a preschool teacher so keep blaming the kids 😂

plipliop · 11/05/2019 08:25

@primarywoodle hahaha! Perk of the job

SaffRW · 11/05/2019 08:27

Morning everyone, just wondering if anyone is using any good apps to track pregnancy progress etc? I was using Flo which was good to track conception etc but its a bit limited now i’ve gone into ‘pregnancy mode’ . Xx

Missmonkeypenny · 11/05/2019 08:30

Well, the morning sickness has set in! I woke up at 5.30 and spent an hour feeling queasy and not able to clear the lump in my thrust before being sick Sad

Missmonkeypenny · 11/05/2019 08:30

Saff Baby centre, Pregnancy +, what to expect and Ovia pregnancy are all good ones Smile

Missmonkeypenny · 11/05/2019 08:33

Hah, throat, not thrust.

Definitely no thrusting going on here.

TiredStepMum · 11/05/2019 08:36

Can I join you guys?
4+1 just got my BFP
I’m 37 and this is my first baby (although DH has an 11year old son) - feeling surprised and grateful as conceived on 4th cycle of trying and assumed it might take a long time/fertility treatment due to my age.
Very anxious now though about increased risk of miscarriage in older mums but hopefully I’ll be able to enjoy it better as the weeks go by 😂😫

This thread is keeping me sane it's so good to know everyone else feels and thinks the same! I finally told my other half last night he was so delighted the dad jokes have already started its adorable! However it is my birthday in 2 weeks and he had planned a bit of a party in a cocktail bar... mocktails and hoping no one notices for me!

Beginning big week 5 for me I can chime in on the gas glad my co worker has a cold and blocked nose! Feeling super tired and like I have a hang over every morning! Think we will book an early private scan just because it's our first and despite 3 positive tests I still don't know if I believe it! Seeing my gp Tuesday.

Poppyseed0202 · 11/05/2019 08:43

Just got my bfp this morning...On dh Birthday too! Smile should be due mid January, this will be no 2... I already have a 15 month old boy :) xx

Avocuddles · 11/05/2019 08:56

Morning everyone and congratulation @Poppyseed0202 @TiredStepMum and @primarywoodle. @primarywoodle I'm in the same boat as you in terms of not knowing my dates - my periods were very light and irregular and I'd just been referred for fertility treatment when I got my surprising BFP! Based on LMP I'd be 7 weeks now but think it's probably closer to 5. Seen GP and booking in appointment is planned for 30th may, with a private early scan booked in for 2nd June. First pregnancy so all new and exciting / scary in equal measure. I'm finding these chats a big comfort though!

@Missmonkeypenny haha re thrusting! On a rather personal note is much thrusting going on with anyone? DH's enthusiasm doesn't seem to have waned now that we're no longer technically baby dancing! Confused

Avocuddles · 11/05/2019 08:57

No idea why that all turned bold! Whoops

Avocuddles · 11/05/2019 08:59

@Lawlor1994 glad your other half was excited! Mine is but he's not really saying much at the moment - think it's probably because we've had a couple of friends who had a MC in the first 8 weeks so he's a bit nervous. Can't wait to (hopefully) get to 12 weeks,

Missmonkeypenny · 11/05/2019 09:02

avo medically not recommended to partake in any thrusting until 10 weeks of pregnancy over here! DH is terrified of shaking the baby loose anyway Grin

Chantalle3 · 11/05/2019 09:12

@avocuddles mine said last night "the golden years are over now the baby making worked" poor guy, he obviously got used to it. Not as much my end at the moment, the nausea and early nights are the culprits. I keep telling him that he apparently should save his energy for the second trimester 😉

primarywoodle · 11/05/2019 09:34

missmonkey nausea hit for me yesterday but no sickness. I was only sick once with my dd so hoping no sickness this time too!

tiredstep congrats! I think these first 12 weeks are the absolute worst for anxiety. Fx for an easy pregnancy!

avocuddles yep have been having treatment for hypothalamic amennoraeh and my last appointment was referred to the fertility clinic. Next day i got my bfp 😂 am pushing for a scan through the nhs though as ive been under consultant care with my last pregnancies and issue were picked up with my angel dd1 very early on :(

chantalle mine isnt saying anything but i can tell he feels the same lol

DaisyMay25 · 11/05/2019 09:56

@Avocuddles no thrusting here either haha! We haven't in months because of ivf and I won't til at least 12 weeks because everything is still inflamed and sore from the meds. Poor DH is going crazy!

Avocuddles · 11/05/2019 10:27

Sounds like my DH is the only one who has had any bedroom action then!

@primarywoodle hope they refer you for the appropriate care / monitoring ASAP. I will definitely be referred to a consultant as I had a DVT around 10 years ago which instantly catapults me into the high risk category. I'm trying not to stress too much though it's easier said than done!

SuperPixie247 · 11/05/2019 10:29

I am allowed to join as my BFP was unplanned but very much welcomed now?

An online calculator suggests my DD is 8th Jan. I already have a DS who is 3 Smile

I quit my job literally a week before I found out I was pregnant, my DP encouraged me to take some time off and figure out what I wanted my next career step to be! Luckily we can afford this but still...talk about bad timing 😂

Good luck to all!!! Flowers

Missmonkeypenny · 11/05/2019 10:46

Super welcome, of course you’re allowed to join! I’m also due on the 8th with my second!

Okay this will sound bonkers, but I seriously have a hunch that I’m having a boy. With DD, I knew she was DD from the moment I took the test, despite having a scan at 15 weeks where they said she was a he. Does anyone else feel similarly or have I well and truly lost it?

DaisyMay25 · 11/05/2019 10:47

@Missmonkeypenny I'm right there with you! I've convinced myself I'm having a girl!

emma8t4 · 11/05/2019 11:17

Can I join, looks like my due date is around 14th jan. Second baby for me, I had Hyperemesis with my first so I’m a bit nervous at the minute and just hoping that I don’t get it again this time.

Poppyseed0202 · 11/05/2019 11:48

I used ovia last time round and really liked it... just downloaded it again xx

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 11/05/2019 11:48

I have woken up today feeling absolutely awful, I’ve been sick three times and have a splitting headache. Thank god DH is here, he’s taken DD for a walk and now to the shops to buy me some supplies 🙈

So grateful to be pregnant but praying I don’t suffer throughout the whole first trimester. I had virtually no sickness with DD so naively thought I’d be fine this time too 😭 going to try to eat something in a bit x

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 11/05/2019 11:50

I’ve just downloaded Pregnancy + and still have What to Expect from last time 🙂

plipliop · 11/05/2019 12:10

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing how many weeks are you? Could you have a tummy bug?
