Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Hello
Found out Saturday I'm pregnant after two years of trying and two cycles of Clomid.

I'm 4+4 but already feeling quite sicky, really can't stand certain smells or the texture of rice. Never felt pregnant this early with DS3.75.
Got hospital pre booking in next week, private early scan week before BH and then midwife booking in early June!

BowiesJumper · 10/05/2019 14:56

Welcome @SleepingStandingUp ! I'm about 4+4 too, and have a 3.5yr old son too Grin

I feel a bit sickly too... not actually sick, just vaguely nauseous. I won't go home from work though as I want to save up all good will for when I actually need it!!

SleepingStandingUp · 10/05/2019 15:27

Another BH weekend baby then haha
How do you think your son will like a new sibling? I asked DS if he wanted a new baby for Christmas and he just looked at me and said no, then told me he wanted a PJ Masks costume instead ha

Seahawk80 · 10/05/2019 15:28

Oh hi @SleepingStandingUp - I recognise your name from the neighbours thread 👋 I don't post on it that much as I'm often behind but follow it for entertainment! Congratulations! And sorry for telling everyone on here your guilty pleasure!

SleepingStandingUp · 10/05/2019 15:37

haha well you admitted your own too so i'll let you off lol. I wonder when Elly is actually due lol

Gillster · 10/05/2019 15:43

My DS is almost 3.5 @BowiesJumper and @SleepingStandingUp. Not sure what he will make of a sibling. Think he will enjoy it when he can boss them around! Not sure I can remember what to do. Good job I didn’t get rid of all the baby stuff!

Seahawk80 · 10/05/2019 15:52

@SleepingStandingUp I was saying to DH that I would like a speedy neighbours pregnancy, Paige found out she was pregnant 2 months after I found out with DS and had baby 2 months before me! As long as I don't have a giant Gabe baby 😂😂

Bentley111 · 10/05/2019 16:02

Congrats on your bfp @SleepingStandingUp, I'm 4+4 today too.

Feeling really sicky today but haven't had that much to eat.

My parents are coming to stay this weekend - my DM knows we are trying and is ultra suspicious but really don't feel ready to tell her, as don't think it's fair to tell her but to hide from ILs. God knows how I'm going to hide it for 3 days!

Seahawk80 · 10/05/2019 16:14

@Bentley111 I told DM on Wednesday when she was over as I'm staying with her for a few days next week and as soon as I say no to wine she will know! Going to wait til early scan to tell in laws as will only be second grandchild and they are a bit over invested in DS (it's sweet but I find it a bit overwhelming and would feel awful if something went wrong)

Bentley111 · 10/05/2019 16:19

This is exactly what I'm worrying about @Seahawk80! We had a loss last year and MIL was really horrible to me, blamed me completely for it, 24 hrs after text me asking if I was "feeling ok now" and a week later asked if I thought I couldn't have children.... it's such a shame as FIL is lovely and would be thrilled for us, and if MIL finds out my DM knew before she did, she'd cause merry hell.

SleepingStandingUp · 10/05/2019 17:08

bowie, gill sounds like the boys are Al la few months apart, so they both start reception Sept? It'll be nice to have a bit of peace those last few months and then some bonding time with baby.

DS came home at 12.5 weeks but was in and out constantly for the first 6 months and then got longer blocks until he was 18 months. I've never had a newborn at home

Avocuddles · 10/05/2019 17:15

Hi @SleepingStandingUp and welcome! Congratulations on your exciting news and glad the clomid did the trick! I think I'm probably about the same as you but could technically be anything from about 4 to 6+4 weeks as my cycles were so irregular. I'd just been referred to the infertility clinic and was likely to have started clomid next month but got my exciting first ever BFP last week!
Hope all goes well - and I'm sure DS will come round to the idea eventually!

Avocuddles · 10/05/2019 17:16

Ps @SleepingStandingUp just saw your comment on the other thread about not drinking at a work night out. I'm facing the exact same dilemma in the next couple of weeks as was never ever one to turn down a wine opportunity!

SleepingStandingUp · 10/05/2019 17:20

It's two nights!!! We're together all weekend so I think I'll clai a bad back, that'll get me out of the heavy lifting and carrying too, and will prep for me needing a lift with heavy luggage for a trip in mid June!!

Seahawk80 · 10/05/2019 17:25

@Bentley111 that's awful!!! I feel a bit bad now as my MIL is lovely, but just a bit too nice if you know what I mean and just not what I'm used to. So if I have a cold and mention it to my mum she'll tell me about all the things that are wrong with her at the moment, if DH mentions it to MIL I then get a text saying so sorry to hear about your cold! I'm aiming to be a normal mum in the middle of the two! But I just couldn't bear all the attention and their disappointment if things did go wrong, I've explained it to DH and luckily he gets it

SleepingStandingUp · 10/05/2019 17:44

So sorry you MIL is a cow Bentley especially at such a hard time Flowers

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 10/05/2019 19:07

Hello ladies, is it ok if I join? I’ve found out I’m pregnant and I’m freaking out, I think I’m in shock!

This is my second baby, our first was a clomid baby so we assumed it might be tricky this time round but this was our first month trying 😱 so happy but so anxious at the same time!

I have never had regular cycles so I think I’m due around the 17th of January...ahhh!

Avocuddles · 10/05/2019 19:09

@SleepingStandingUp good luck with that one! Fortunately I don't have to work away until early July by which point all being well it will be public knowledge. I have a work away day next week which culminates in drinks so I'm feigning another engagement in the evening which will involve driving!

DaisyMay25 · 10/05/2019 19:15

@MonicaGellerHyphenBing welcome! Love the name! Congrats, must have been a lovely surprise for you

@Bunnylover84 been thinking about you, did the EPU call?

Avocuddles · 10/05/2019 20:49

Congratulations @MonicaGellerHyphenBing (and love the name!)

MonicaGellerHyphenBing · 10/05/2019 21:14

Thank you ladies 🙂 we are very excited. Can’t believe we will (hopefully, if all goes well) be getting all the baby stuff out of the garage again! I didn’t particularly enjoy the newborn stage with DD but I’m hoping I’ll find it easier this time.

I already need to pee constantly Blush

Avocuddles I have a boozy night with my friends and their OHs next weekend so that will be interesting on the no drinking front. I’m planning to take some gin and lemonade with me but just drink the lemonade, hopefully I’ll get away with it 😬

Bentley111 · 10/05/2019 21:43

Well parents have been here for 3 hours and DH has announced it 🙈 he has just promised we still won't be telling ILs until 12 weeks though.

Congrats @MonicaGellerHyphenBing! Xx

don't forget if anyone else feels comfortable and wants to join the secret Facebook group to just message me their email address registered with Facebook!

MrsH497 · 10/05/2019 23:15

How's everyone doing ladies? Had a bit more brown discharge but not got cramps. X

plipliop · 11/05/2019 06:42

Morning everyone Smile

Well, I'm only 5 w 5d and I've already read everything there is to read on the internet. I get so tired in the evening that I fall asleep around 9 and wake up at 5. I still have really bad wind and I constantly need to find out excuses to leave the room so I can fart away from people. So embarrassing.

I have seen the doctor and now need to call the midwife to arrange my booking in appt.

I am already bored but have discovered One Born Every Minute which I've not seen before. There are 10 series so that should keep me busy!
