Is anyone else due in Jan 2020? My dates are a bit iffy 🤣 but I’m either due 30/12 or 2/1. Baby number 4 ( I swear we were stopping at 1). 🤣

Got a strange symptoms for you ladies...
The back of my thighs, whatever that muscle is there, is very tight
I've had this before when I had vitamin d def but all my leg
I've read it can be from the uterus taking a lot of the blood supply and my muscles struggling (strange) not sure if it's worth a trip to the doctors for a blood test?

Bunnylover84 · 01/05/2019 23:43

@leclarke91 thanks for sharing. Found it reassuring as you say it helps to visualise the figures in a more positive way. Really eager to find out my blood test results now... Here’s hoping GP has them early when I go tomorrow!

Welcome and congrats to all those that have just joined and got their BFP!
Wishing everyone healthy and sticky beans!

leclarke91 · 02/05/2019 00:36

@DaisyMay25 it may just be something and nothing, but always worth being seen by a doctor, even if just for reassurance.

leclarke91 · 02/05/2019 00:38

@Bunnylover84 it's a nice feeling to see how much percentage of miscarriage drops as the day goes by. I'm sure I'll be on the website everyday 😂

And good luck with tomorrow! I really hope it all works out okay!

Maybenextmonth · 02/05/2019 06:25

Hi ladies, I've come over from the other Jan EDD thread.

I got my BFP on Sunday and am due 6 Jan based on OV (I OV'd late).
Second pregnancy but lost the first around 9 weeks so am obviously a little nervous.

Feeling a few small symptoms but nothing major.
Tired and get out of breath easy
Very thirsty and dry mouth
Sore nipples
But last night I woke in the night with quite bad pain in my diaphragm, maybe indigestion? But it was 2am. The pain was quite uncomfortable and spread across the top/middle of my back as well, and kept me awake for a bit. Anyone had anything like this? Not sure if it's just me rather than pregnancy related.

Congratulations everyone on your positives.

Bayleyf · 02/05/2019 06:53

I think I have diaphragm pain, May. It feels really right just below my ribs. Not really that painful, but uncomfortable.

Ducky881 · 02/05/2019 08:21

Hi all! I'd like to tentatively join the group, I'm due on Jan 2nd and just hit 5 weeks today. It's an ivf pregnancy and I've had a mmc before at around 9 weeks so I'm pretty nervous. I'm experiencing one sided twinges/pain on and off so I'm worried about it being ectopic (it's a bit of a higher risk with ivf). I'm going in for a second bloodtest this afternoon to check how my HCG numbers are doing, hopefully the levels are rising nicely!

I hope everybody is doing well!

mynameisMrG · 02/05/2019 08:27

Welcome @Ducky and congratulations! There are quite a few ivf pregnancies on here I think. I’ve had lots of twinges in my sides as well. Think it’s your body getting itself ready for that little baby to grow 😊 good luck this afternoon

DaisyMay25 · 02/05/2019 08:34

@Ducky881 hi! Also ivf pregnancy here! Was you a fresh cycle? If so the twinges can be your ovaries settling, it can take a few months apparently!

@Maybenextmonth try sleeping slightly sat up, it might help your diaphragm open a bit better during sleep?

Bentley111 · 02/05/2019 09:46

Welcome & congratulations to the newbies!

Had a bit of a scare yesterday tripping over badly and did really panic but everything seems ok this morning and I think I'm fine. I did another test this morning and the line is now as dark as the control so breathing a massive sigh of relief. Just want to get past tomorrow, when AF should be due.

@DaisyMay25 this is one of my usual AF symptoms but apparently is a pg symptom too - I had it when I think I implanted on Sunday/Monday. My GP told me years ago that it's where the uterus is contracting (probably in your case the little bean getting comfy) and takes blood away from the legs.

DaisyMay25 · 02/05/2019 09:54

@Bentley111 glad you're okay! I can imagine the panic though.
I'm booked in at the doctors later anyway just to check, not ideal when I'm lightheaded too and on my feet all evening at work. It's such a strange symptom haha

MrsM18 · 02/05/2019 10:18

Does anybody have to self refer for their pregnancy? With my daughter you phoned them up and they get you straight in, it's changed since - I can't register my pregnancy until 6 weeks, bloods at 8 weeks and booking in appointment between 10-12 weeks. Just seems so long away 😩 I'm not even 4 weeks yet, so seems a long time to be left to my own devices! D

Redorangeyellowgreen · 02/05/2019 10:30

@mrsm18 it's possible to go through GP in my area but I've chosen to self refer this time round, it just seemed to make more sense as not much really happens at the GP appointment.

However we don't have those limits as far as I'm aware, I wonder why they introduced those rules in your area. With my first I had my booking in appointment at 7 weeks!

Nausea ramping up here now, starting to get a bit worried. It was bad last time but I don't think it started properly until about 6 weeks...I'm not even 5 weeks yet Confused

mynameisMrG · 02/05/2019 10:35

I’m so lightheaded today. Probably it helped by dancing to sleeping bunnies for half an hour Confused

mynameisMrG · 02/05/2019 10:35

*not

Missmonkeypenny · 02/05/2019 10:35

Mrs I’m self refer here, it says not until 6 weeks though

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 02/05/2019 10:47

Due #2 10/01/2020

My #1 was born 09/01/2018!!

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 02/05/2019 10:53

I've created a due in January 2020 secret Facebook group as it's a lot easier to keep up with everything on there!!

It's a secret group so no one will know you've joined or that you're pregnant!

If you fancy joining either reply or message me with your email address! I've got a group for my January 2018 baby and it's still being used now!

Rastawife9 · 02/05/2019 10:55

Is anyone else weary of tight jeans lol i feel like its tight on my tummy when i sit and what if it hurts my bub. I know its super early. Im due around 6th jan. Feeling exhausted and getting out of breath just going up stairs. Anyone else with different symptoms?

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 02/05/2019 10:56

Yes Rasta!!

I've already ordered my maternity leggings again as I've bloated so much normal leggings etc already hurt!

MrsH497 · 02/05/2019 11:27

Hi ladies can I tentatively join? I'm about 5 weeks had my bfp day before yesterday when I was 2 days late for AF. First baby first pregnancy all new, exciting and scary!

mynameisMrG · 02/05/2019 11:58

Congratulations @MrsH how exciting!

MrsM18 · 02/05/2019 12:00

@Victoriaaaaaaaa I am useless and no idea how to send you my email address, would love to join though x

DaisyMay25 · 02/05/2019 12:00

@Rastawife9 I ant even think about wearing jeans, even the thought makes me uncomfortable!

Doctor seems to think my pain is to do with my sciatic nerve, it was causing me pain a few months back too so I've been referred for physio for it. Now gotta see if my clinic do bloods next week or my doctor is happy to do them.

Also got my name in the book for the midwife who will call me next Wednesday but I might not see her til 12 weeks(?!) because I'm having scans at 6 and 9 weeks, I'm gonna try and push for the 8 though

Doesn't a nice doctor make the world of difference?? She knows about my previous mc and said if I had any concerns about symptoms to go back

Victoriaaaaaaaa · 02/05/2019 12:41

@MrsM18 just reply to this with your email and I'll pop you in :)
