I am on 6.30-4 this week and getting up at 5 is killing me...thought my eyelids were superglued shut this morning!! Other shift isnt much better though...7-5! Only 3 1/2 mor months to go til i stop!

mixedmama · 15/08/2007 11:50

So unfair am now going to put my jealous face on because everyone is having holidays

Bettymamma · 15/08/2007 11:58

It's only Devon mixedmama - have you seen the weather!?

Beller - how do you stay awake?

Cazzybabs - congrats on the flat. A garden is such a bonus with kiddies.

Devon - at least you are getting away. right now a couple of days at Southend would even be good. Have a great time tho. I am going to kent to see a friend on Saturday does that count?? just on SE london border

That is such an early shift altho I do get a certain amount of satisfaction leaving everyone else behind when i leave at 4 if i start at 7.30. (there should be a cackles like a witch emoticcon)

Bettymamma · 15/08/2007 12:12

Sounds like Bromley to me if its on the border! If so - no it doesn't count

I think it is Sydenham or Sidcup or something beginning with S.

Have just spoken to a colleague who's returned from paternity leave and asked him whats it like to have a 2 yr old and a newborn. He just asked me if I like endurance sports....

I stay awake by being on here most of the day!
I do go to the gym most days too which waked me up..Like Mixedmama, i do like leaving at 4 though!

Cazzybaby · 15/08/2007 12:27

That is really early Beller - actually I would class that as still night time!

beller · 15/08/2007 12:43

cazzybby - it is actually still dark when i get up now!!

Bettymamma- Oh well...endurance sports are often painful, but very rewarding at the end x

mixedmama · 15/08/2007 12:43

I do find tho that once i get to work i am awake.... but that is a t 7..30 which is a little more palatable.

LilyLoo · 15/08/2007 12:52

Beller did you need to change size then when you got remeasured ?

MotherofZ · 15/08/2007 13:02

cazzy - congratulations on the house
beller - what on earth do you do that warrants at 6.30am start. Still snuggled up in bed at that time!

beller · 15/08/2007 13:17

Lillyloo..yes i have gone up 2 sizes now since pregnancy...but still only 36c!Wasnt huge to start with, kinda hoping I get to kep the boobs

MOtherofz - im a money broker...so markets are always open somewhere, and with the mess in the usd mortgage market at the moment, its otal madness!

mixedmama · 15/08/2007 13:20

Is that quite a stressful job Belller?

LilyLoo · 15/08/2007 13:26

Beller may need to go back then as i had only gone up a cup size but still same measurement round chest. I bloody bought 4 new bra's as well in that size!

beller · 15/08/2007 13:31

lillyloo- i did that the firt stime and only wore one of the bras once! have you worn them all? annoying eh! I was told on saturday , if you go up a cup size you go down an inch size....and vice versa?!

Mixedmamma- It can be..has been since last thursday for sure. I do 3 cuurencys so has been manic. You get different times of the day that you are busy though 6.30-9.3 busy 9.30-11.30 dead (then New York and toronto come in) busy from about 12-2.3...then quiet again...I kind of fell into this job, which is nice as it pays well, but my heart is in opening a nursery, which hopefully I will do in a years time!! (have qualified now) x

mixedmama · 15/08/2007 13:33

Beller - that is a fantastic idea. Sso good that you are actually pursuing your dream too. i have worked with traders before and seen the stress of it all.

LilyLoo · 15/08/2007 13:38

yeah took them on hol! oh well. The woman at m and s never said anything like that

MotherofZ · 15/08/2007 13:41

I'd LOVE to be a Maths lecturer, but need to do my PGCE. However, I don't think I will be able to do it at this stage in my life.

mixedmama · 15/08/2007 13:43

I would love to start my own business as a wedding planner. I have done all my research about both the industry and setting up a business. Not sure it will ever happen but I can dream.

MotherofZ · 15/08/2007 13:45

Better to have a dream than to have no dreams at all!
