@ScotsBaby2 doesn't sound fun! And same, pregnancy #2 is much harder and having a toddler doesn't help! When I was sick in the first tri mine watched me and said 'that's yuck mummy' so helpful.
Nausea is gone for me but I want to eat everything then get heartburn that makes me feel sick. Also my pelvis hurts so much I can't face stairs. I have a lift phobia but have started to use them it's that bad. I have got a physio appointment next week but feeling a bit daunted about how long there's left.

@jelliestogether I haven't had numb legs but have had and still have numbness/pins and needles in my hands- mostly the right hand when I'm in bed. It's been particularly bad this morning and over night. I Dr googled it and apparently it's carpel tunnel? And can be the same in your legs?

@Moncwf I'm daunted by it too. I'm not even half way :-(

@Moncwf thanks for that. Yeah I googled it and seems like can be normal. I just like the extra reassurance. Still waiting to hear back from the midwife.

20 week scan all good! Baby would not sit still! Apparently he’s a sugar fiend already as I had a cereal bar while I was waiting and he was all over the place. Could feel him kicking while I could see it on the screen!

@jelliestogether we asked the doctor today and numbness and apparently it is carpel tunnel and nothing to worry about, it’s the extra fluid pressing on nerves etc. If it gets unbearable see a go and they can refer for physio to reduce it apparently.

@bakingabean aw congratulations, glad your scan went well!

Booked a gp appointment as couldn't get through to the midwife, however she called me just before my gp and said see what the gp says. The gp referred me to a&e to rule out a dvt, she seemed not concerned so fingers crossed. Hoping they might give baby a cheeky scan whilst I'm here! 😂 any excuse!

So jealous of all these scans!

@ScotsBaby2 i was told today im having a boy

Hey ladies,
Finally had my 16 week appointment even though I'm almost 18 weeks. She heard the heartbeat which was very reassuring and said that the
Strange noises the machine picked up was her movement. So lovely to know she's still okay in there. I forgot to say before my due date is now 27th August.
Also, I think I can feel her moving very faintly but only when I really sit still and concentrate. I can't wait for that to get clearer.
We are going on our cruise in 3 weeks and my parents have offered to come and decorate her room! I'm going to take them up on the offer as I don't want to be around the paint smell and dust etc. feels a little early to do that but I'm going to try and forget about my anxiety and go with it!! Anyone else doing things like that yet?

@PinkLady89x I've already started planning baby's room - no need to redecorate as it's already a colour I'm happy with but have been looking at furniture etc. We're also going to have a look at pushchairs this weekend. I won't buy anything until after 20 week scan in 3 weeks but I like to feel organised and it's giving me something to focus on. I did the same with other 2 DCs as well - I thought I'd leave it later this time but I can't seem to help myself 🤷🏼‍♀️

We found out we’re team blue yesterday . So that’s one of each! I wasn’t surprised in the slightest, all of the prediction methods said boy.

Hey, my induction date is the 31st July....should I move to the group before?

@runningbutnotscared. No stay! How many weeks will you be when induced?

@EverythingNow I will be 37 weeks, so not too early. I think anything from 37 - 42 weeks is considered term?

I'm 20+6 today. Scan in 2 days!

I've found that baby is much more active now with proper kicks and pokes. I had one up by my ribs when I was lying in bed this morning.

I also feel like I can feel its position when I'm lying down. I could feel a solid babysized lump on my left hand side which then moved down low in a transverse position. could also be Braxton hicks I guess.

@sacrecoeur0712 and @PinkLady89x we've not started the nursery yet partly because we've been having major work done elsewhere on the house (I totally get not wanting dust and paint near you, sadly that's been my life for 3 months but at least it will be done before August) and partly because I don't want to jinx anything before the 20wk scan - which is on Thursday. That said, we did buy a snuzpod cot bed that attaches to our bed that was a bargain on a local 2nd hand website because it seemed too good to be true.
I had a hilarious moment this morning when I put on a fitted wax jacket I haven't worn for about 3 weeks. I couldn't do it up over my boobs! I'm amazed at how giant they are (relative to my normal, pretty non-existent ones) and slightly dreading having to buy another set of maternity / nursing bras if they get any bigger. They are up about 4 cup sizes already! Anyone else's having a growth spurt?

@keebo I just bought new bras yesterday. I'm already bigger than I was when breastfeeding my other two, goodness knows what size I'll end up

@keebo I got two maternity bras back in December when my boobs grew by about two cup sizes, and now they have grown more as I seem to have wonderbra cleavage and the bras can’t cope and aren’t comfy anymore! I don’t like the maternity bras out though - there’s a brand in America called motherhood and they have some really comfy looking clip down sports type ones! Debating whether it’s worth the postage costs...

My boobs are also huge, way bigger than they've ever been with last two and bf. I've got some maternity bras from H&M and they are so comfortable and cheap.
Found out are amnio results came back all clear which is such a relief, 20 wk scan on Tuesday after which I can hopefully relax, but a few bits and decorate the nursery which is currently a tatty spare room.

Anyone else got an anterior placenta?

I only feel baby move when they're in my sides or very low. I'm 20 weeks on Tuesday.

Hoping as baby gets bigger so will the movements ☺️.

@Abearandabump I don't this time but I did with #3. Once she was big I definitely felt her as much as the other 2. It was just I didn't feel anything at all until 19+wks.

My boobs were off the scale before so I really struggle to buy maternity bras. I have one from Debenhams but I need more. The crop top ones even in the biggest sizes fit round the ribs but cups are too small.
