It looks like we filled up the last thread before anyone had a chance to start a new one, so here we go! Hope everyone finds their way over.

@karigan195 so glad you were seen again and got a bonus scan. Lovely to get a bit of reassurance too, hope the next 7 days go quickly for you.

Im really struggling to function. Dragging myself around the house after 4 dc and DREADING work

Was admitted to hospital on friday/Saturday due to hg and dehydration. They were unable to give me an IV due to my horrible veins. But on the bright side, i had a sneaky little ultrasound to check on baby! What a huge relief to know that there is a real baby in there and it's kicking away!
Super excited for tomorrow morning (proper dating scan). The quick scan on Friday put me four days ahead than i thought (so today im 12+6), so we'll see what tomorrow says!
Now I'm going to read through and catch up with everyone.

I'm off work next week thankfully, couldn't have come a moment too soon! You need a medal for running around after 4 dc too! I can barely run around after the dh and fur baby.

Hope you're feeling better parent, nice to have a sneaky peek at bubs, even if not the best reason.

Sod's law...perfect scan on Friday and today I'm bleeding. Was out for lunch yesterday and sick with cramps when I got back and today I'm bleeding.

Oh no @easterbuns1 hopefully it's nothing serious, have you spoken to anyone to see I you can get checked? How many weeks are you?

easter perhaps try and get checked out, call epu?

I will ring them in the morning, I panicked a bit when I went to the toilet and saw it but it seems to have just been one burst rather than prolonged iykwim, albeit more than previous occasions. I'm 13+2.

Hopefully theyll be no more easter

When i was 16 weeks with dc2 i woke up one morning in what i can only describe as a puddle of blood. It was awful. My bed looked like a crime scene. I got checked out and nothing was wrong, baby was fine, no explanation. Dc2 is now 9, happy and healthy.

@IVEgottheDECAF I bled throughout with my first two pregnancies, which is why I was probably quite relaxed when I spotted last time but that ended in mc. I'm hoping it's just my cervix misbehaving as that's what it was put down to with the older two. I just really panicked earlier because we told everyone yesterday, wishing I'd maybe kept it quiet longer now. I'd just like to have a few weeks of not stressing quite so much it's crap.

Can’t sleep, won’t sleep here! Grrrrr.
Scan in a few hours so back to insomnia and panic.
I think there are a few of us with Monday scans, so good luck all!

My letter makes no reference to drinking before scan-does anyone else’s? I had to drink 500ml an hour before for NIPT scan.

@Megan2018 my letter for my scan in the morning says arrive with a full bladder (only clear liquids).

@ivegottheDECAF I hope everything is ok. A great scan yesterday is a positive sign, fingers crossed for you.

Thanks to those who gave me advice on husbands family. They are really open and tell everyone everything right away. Like literally as soon as there’s a positive test. We both like things better waiting til we’re sure so trying our best to weather the storm. We better send pictures as soon as baby is born though! Ha ha ha!

I have a scan today and seeing consultant but not til this afternoon. I hope i see someone who cares how crap i feel and can give some answers / support

Eek, today is the scan day - have to wait till 4pm, don't know how I'm going to get anything done?

I'm so poorly sickness has come back so bad I can't move out of bed or I'll be sick and I can't even keep water down this morning it's awful

God its grim in this hospital! Got here early as didn’t know where I was going and they tried to call me in 30 mins early! DH not here yet (we travelled separately as both going to work after). Have refused, so think I’m already in trouble!

What time is your scan megan?

I think my boobs have grown again! They are also sore again! I’ve gone up two cup sizes!

Anyone a runner on here? I keep reading that you shouldn’t get hot or short of breath when exercising but if you don’t you aren’t really exercising 🤔. Anyone asked their midwife what’s safe as dr google is conflicting

Scan all good! Very wriggly but also wanted to lie on her tummy for most of the photos! So sonographer had some issues. Had to half empty bladder then fully empty and she still wouldn’t co-operate.
Measuring 12+4 now so gained 3 days based on lmp and 4 days from NIPT scan.

My bp causing some concern so sat now waiting for bloods and had to do urine sample so going to be here some time yet! Bloody starving.
