It looks like we filled up the last thread before anyone had a chance to start a new one, so here we go! Hope everyone finds their way over.

@karigan195 so glad you were seen again and got a bonus scan. Lovely to get a bit of reassurance too, hope the next 7 days go quickly for you.

Ladies anyone a size 8/10? Got a bundle of maternity dresses from eBay. 3 were size 12 and fitted but these three were size 10 and wouldn’t go over my boobs 😂😂

Does anyone want them for postage only?

I'm just looking at ASOS.com and I'm annoyed a size 14 is classes as XL!

Yes I found some great items from apricot and blue vanilla

Ok cool. I've bought some maternity stuff but I'll look at those brands now.

Anyone else lost weight? I think I'm down quite a lot, I did with DD also...lost all my muscle tone and cannot eat. There are three part eaten meals in the fridge. Last nights I couldn't be in the same room as. I'm getting fed up now, I'm 11 weeks and have only drunk water, cordial and eaten the occasional sweet thing in a few weeks.

I've just got a couple of wrap dresses from H&M that should hopefully last a fair while, they were pretty reasonable too. Not maternity though. I think it's probably tops I'm going to struggle with- maternity ones look horrible to me!

Anybody got a bump going on yet?

@IVEgottheDECAF that's good to know. I thought I'd be more relaxed this time but I'm convinced they will tell me it's a MMC or it'll be the other end of the scale and I'm having twins

I'd also love to be added to the Facebook group please but I'll wait until Wednesday when I've had my scan!

@bbell2 I have lost about a stone, even between 10 & 12 I still lost weight. Now at 14 and still haven’t gained it back

starlight i think with me its a mix of two things, the first being i am older and wiser, i have known more people have things go wrong. I was pregnant with dc1 at 19 and never even contemplated miscarriage as an option. The other is i know statistically miscarriage happens in about 1 in 4 pregnancies and i feel like my luck will run out sooner or later.

Hey, I was invited here and after reading all the messages and seeing the scan photos I just had to join in! So thank you for inviting me!

Had a scan on the 11th and was 8+1, and have to wait until 13 weeks for my 12 week scan. MW said because I have a retroverted uterus shed like to wait an extra week so we can see more but I'm soooo nervous. Xxxx

Cant believe some of you are reporting to have lost weight! I’ve gained loads already, although I suspect a good 1/2 stone of that is Christmas related before I even got my BFP!

I think we are all ridiculously nervous about those scans, I had one at 10+2 and still stressing about the 12wk.
I’m sure after that we’ll all be stressed about the 20wk too. It won’t stop I don’t think until they are born, and then it’ll be worry about keeping them alive....

Was given a sense of false hope this week - started to feel a bit less sick, was eating normally and taking one cyclizine in the morning instead of three a day. Now I’ve woken up this morning and feel like I’m dying

@Wedgiecar58 don’t worry you aren’t the only one. I was maintaining weight eating 1400 calories a day due to thyroid disorder prior to being pregnant. I won’t diet when pregnant so it’s creeping up.

@Megan2018 that's VERY true... I've already had one MMC which was found at the 12 week scan and that was my only other pregnancy so I just can't see past the 12 week scan. Fingers crossed🤞

Glad you found us Kej13! Oh I know that I've put on at least half a stone so far, dread to think what I'll be like by the end. I remember reading something before about in your 3rd trimester you only need a slice of toast a day extra over your usual calories. Yeah right, that's just breakfast! I'm trying very much not to eat for 2 for the sake of it, but before I could easily not eat til 2-3pm. Now, if I go 2 hours I'm retching!

@Megan2018 they think 9 weeks. Which is why having a scan at 8 weeks hasn't really helped haha. But I guess if I'd had a scan at 8 weeks last time the heartbeat wouldn't have been great and it would have been obvious what was going to happen?

@KnobJockey I've definitely got some bump action going on, and I'm only 9 weeks, argh! I'm out of all my clothes with waistbands, and look very obviously bumpy in several of my back up options (dresses with adjustable waist ties- which now have gone empire line). I'm really struggling for work clothes that don't give the game away!
