Hi,

It looks like we filled up the last thread before anyone had a chance to start a new one, so here we go! Hope everyone finds their way over.

@twittlebee could you possibly link to the Google Doc again?

@karigan195 so glad you were seen again and got a bonus scan. Lovely to get a bit of reassurance too, hope the next 7 days go quickly for you.

Just finished my booking appointment, found out my platelets are low, anyone else had this? Being referred to consultant and extra checks, but they have gone down since last time I was checked before the MC when they were only just below the threshold.

Megan2018 · 19/02/2019 10:58

So this morning was a bad start to the day - the smell of my own poo made me violently sick! Blush Shock

It'd be hilarious if it wasn't so grim.

I still don't seem to have any nausea - I just have hyper smell sensitivity which then makes me vomit. But pretty much only first thing in the morning and last thing at night.

Karigan195 · 19/02/2019 11:10

@heather88 mines 25.2.19 but will be about the same still. Apparently so long as it’s done before 14 weeks it’s fine.

I’m over 12 now. Got a bump showing already. Just need to have test results back and then hopefully we can tell people!

Megan2018 · 19/02/2019 11:27

21 hours until my scan, going slightly mad. Can't concentrate at all at work. I think I am mentally preparing myself for disappointment.

Finding my team particularly irritating today - they don't know obviously and they are lovely people, but I sort of want to lock myself off from the world. I am being very snappy Sad

heather88 · 19/02/2019 11:27

Sorry I realised after I’d posted that you said feb not March Blush that’s so exciting, having a proper bump must make it so real...Smile

Karigan195 · 19/02/2019 11:29

Still waiting for NIPT here Megan so feeling much the same. Expecting them anytime between now and Thursday. Half terrified they will be bad and half wanting the wait over.

Good luck with the scan!

Cheekychimp1 · 19/02/2019 17:14

12+1.
Had my 12 week scan today. Omg baby was literally jumping around , sitting up, doing roly polys. The lady doing it was actually laughing as it wouldn’t stay still. Blush I’m midwife led. Now I can finally tell people I don’t want to. Mad isn’t it!

firstbabybean · 19/02/2019 17:43

Just got my NIPT results. Low chance of chromosome defects (huge relief!) and I’m having a girl! Delighted!! Good luck to everyone still waiting for their results / scans.

Karigan195 · 19/02/2019 17:46

Got my NIPT results. Low probability across the board and it’s a boy :). Huge weight off my mind. Partner wanted a girl but he’s fine with it being a boy.

Karigan195 · 19/02/2019 17:46

@firstbabybean congrats :). We cross posted lol

Megan2018 · 19/02/2019 17:46

Congrats @Cheekychimp1 how lovely!

Brilliant news too @firstbabybean
I am in at 8:30 tomorrow for NIPT scan and bloods. So nervous!

Megan2018 · 19/02/2019 17:47

Oh yay @Karigan195
So relieved for you too. Good news day all round then.

firstbabybean · 19/02/2019 17:53

Congrats @cheekychimp2 and @Karigan195! Good luck @Megan2018 and fingers crossed for everybody.

Karigan195 · 19/02/2019 17:54

@Megan2018 good luck for tomorrow. Hope bean gives you a good show and results are good. Get sonographer to look st nose bones and nuchal on back of the neck. Mine did and said everything looked good which has helped me retain sanity for the last two weeks!

firstbabybean · 19/02/2019 17:55

Sorry meant to say @cheekychimp1 - I’ve got fat fingers ! Finding this thread very helpful in terms of what everyone else is experiencing at the same time.

boodles101 · 19/02/2019 19:48

Congrats karigan firstbabybean and cheekychimp its so great that they can tell you the sex this early, amazes me really.

MunchyMunchkin · 19/02/2019 20:08

Great news on the NIPTY results guys.
I got my scan appt through for 14th March. So my trust is going to the wire as that’s the last date by lmp for them to do the NT test. I’ll be 13+1 by my early scan. Rang to try and reschedule and apparently they have nothing else in the entire trust. I’ve already got to go to a community hospital 25mins further away than my local hospital.

jazzyjellybeans · 19/02/2019 22:49

Congratulations on the NIPT results. Fabulous news

Yamsin · 20/02/2019 07:25

Hi everyone, First time posting after watching the 3 (!) threads develop. There's people mentioning SDP but is anyone having issues with other back pain? About 3 weeks ago I started getting a sore back in mid right back. Usually starts bout lunch time and by 6-7pm when I crawl back home via tube I spend the evening contortion myself to try and find a less painful lie down position. Goes by morning then all starts again. Had parents round for dinner yesterday and after sitting for dinner for 15 mins had to go off to bed to hide/recover from pain. As of yesterday pain migrated to my back pelvis now too. Is this weird? If it goes on today I might try and ring docs but have blood works on fri so don't know if I should just mention it then? So fed up of first trimester Blush

hodgeheg92 · 20/02/2019 07:37

Congratulations on the NIPT results. Hope you managed to sleep last night with your scan today @megan2018

No scan date yet for me either @LaBelleSausage although I do finally have my booking appointment today! Midwife called back after being on leave and started the convo with "I don't suppose you remember me?" and I thought she wouldn't remember me! Hopefully it's for a good reason and not a bad one. Going to be a bit odd talking with the woman who put my vagina back together a year ago Blush She clearly did a good job though for me to be pregnant again Grin

Karigan195 · 20/02/2019 07:55

@Yamsin

Get yourself a pregnancy support belt ASAP. It’s probably the round ligament pain striking you hard and a support belt will help.

Yamsin · 20/02/2019 08:13

@Karigan195 thank you!

Megan2018 · 20/02/2019 09:17

Scan done, all looks ok, very wriggly. Measuring 10+2 (my dates 10+3). I sobbed. Anxious wait now for results
