TheLadyEvenstar · 01/07/2007 22:18

Hiya all,

Thanks for all the support, I had a good cry, shout at him, he went to work feeling crap hahahaha then I chilled out in a lovely warm bath.

Before that I dismantled DS's bunk beds, took top one n re assembled it and am sorting spare room out to move him into...not really a spare room it is his old bedroom and twice size of one he is in now. So when i get it all sorted this week he will be proud owner of a sofa and a bed lol. although it is bunk beds really. Then sorted through clothes got depressed at all the things I can't wear now cos they are milesss to small But then put babies crib together and felt better .

then I surfed the net for a while read some emails, got some freebies for baby....black bag of newborn boys clothes for the price of a pkt of newborn nappies. along with lot of other things. Spoke to DP on phone and he apologised after i made him suffer with a yes no conversation ohhh I am naughty.

Now going to hang DS's school uniform up as I forgot i had put it in wash ooppss lol bad mummy.

Am watching BB8 how sad am I??? lol

oh and to top the day off I have run out of sugar and need a cuppa arghhhhhhhhh

Hi all, i'm back, started panicking because the mw was really worried and i couldn't get anyone to take me or have dd, and apparantly i wasn't allowed to drive, anyway my brother came to babysit and my mum took me and everything is ok, have got a bad case of thrush and my cervix was closed, they monitered baby and she was fine, sorry for worrying you all and thanks for the messages of support. am off to bed now.

j20baby · 02/07/2007 00:12

ps good luck with work inzi x

alicet · 02/07/2007 04:40

J20 really glad to hear all is well.

Inzi good luck for work! You'll be up soon I guess!

Well I have been awake for over an hour - tired but just can't get back to sleep. This was a real problem for me when I was pregnant with ds1 so I really hope not this time too as I can't cope with this and a toddler! Thought I'd come on here as I had got to the point where I was getting wound up that I couldn't sleep so thought better to come chill for a bit...

Anyway chat to you later... Off pram shopping in the am (or later am anyway!) with my mate who is due 3 days after me and also has a ds who is about 2 weeks younger than mine!

WinnieThePooh · 02/07/2007 07:34

Glad to hear everything is OK.

PLEASE SLOW DOWN. Take this as a warning and do not do so much.

I know you want things sorted before the baby, but you should ask for help. Your family may be more willing to help out now since this scare.

FloriaTosca · 02/07/2007 07:55

TG!!!!J20, you had us really worried there! I'm so glad everything is alright...thrush is quite common in pg apparently (I've never had it before this pg and had it twice now! Natural, bio active yoghurt seems to work best for me)...Now, please, please ask for more help ...no more leaning over bannisters etc. etc. !!! I expect there are others who will shout at you too so I'll stop lecturing you now . Just try to be good please...its only for 3-4 months....the decorating will get done eventually, there is no rush

nellieloula · 02/07/2007 08:05

Morning everyone, this moves so fast I can't kep up but just wanted to say glad everything is ok J20 - as everyone else is saying, please slow down. I know it's hard (I too am guilty of this, as most home alone's are I think) but so try to get some rest. Inzi, good luck at work today - make yourself a calendar and tick the days off each night - seeing it in front of you makes such a difference I find!
will come back later but have a good day everyone. x

MrsFish · 02/07/2007 08:06

J20 - glad everything is ok, now listen to us ALL, slow down a bit

muppetgirl · 02/07/2007 08:33

Morning all
J20 -thank goodness everything is okay!
PLease slow down, the banisters will always be there but this is definately a time where you need to have to think about you before any painting

Re the poo front
I love my grown up boy
I checked him when I went to bed, nothing and had a broken nights sleep as I was worried he would wake up wet and be upset but he didn't, he slept right through until somewhere between 5-6 am when I heard him take himself to the toilet!!!!!

He then had another hour in bed and then around 6 went to the toilet again and then came downstairs insisting that dh and I had to go and see his poo he did in the toilet OMG!!!!

And sure enough, there it was. (yes, yes yes we did the poo dance!!!)

I can't believe it, someone on the poo thread i said that her doctor said her son had her wrapped round her little finger -it seems ds did.

I do know this is only one night and there are many more o go before he's officially 'dry' at night but this was a really good start.

Morning all

I had a crap night sleep, and spent most of it tossing and turning I have DD today as there is no nursery as when i was working my mum would have her on mondays

We have her school visit today so she can see her new teacher and classroom for when she starts in sept. oh my god, shes growing up!!!

J20 glad all is ok, i didnt know i had it either till they took a swap as i was bleeding. They told me if it doesnt bother you, dont worry about it.

Oh for all those SPD suffers, I spoke to a woman that had SPD before and said you can claim DLA for it and a blue badge if your having troubles walking. You have to have had it for 3 months before they pay out but you can apply ready for when you have had it for 3 months Thought i would let you know, Im on half pay already starting in Aug so i have applied, although dont think i'll get it, but worth it if i do.

Hope you have a good day today girls, cant be worse than the weekend for us, what a sorry bunch we are

lisa

alicet · 02/07/2007 09:10

Congrats muppets ds!!!

Sorry to hear you had a rubbish night's sleep lisa - should have been on here chatting with me - did you see I was here at 4.40? Finallly got back to sleep at 5.30. Thankfully dh got ds up this am but I still had to get up at 8 to look after a very lively little boy when he went to work.

Off to play with him now then twin pram shopping!!!!

MrsFish · 02/07/2007 10:14

Muppetgirl - glad last night was a success for you

MrsFish · 02/07/2007 10:34

Anyone else feeling sick this far in, was 27 weeks yesterday, have been feeling dizzy and right now feel really queasy, all I am doing is relaxing on the sofa, and I have my feet up and I have had breakfast

KezzaG · 02/07/2007 10:38

Morning all.

J20 glad all is ok.

Muppetgirl, well done to your ds. lets hope he keeps it up.

Mrsfish, for about the last 2 weeks I have been feeling sick in the morning. I dont remember this from last time but know others who have had it. not nice...

FloriaTosca · 02/07/2007 11:12

I've just got back from the dentisits; all ok so far thank heavens (sil is the dental nurse there and she suffered horribly with her gums with both her pgs despite daily care from her boss!)
Muppet;so glad ds has been so good...read a bit of a book on child phsychology about the prob last night and basically it said that putting the nappy on was giving him permission to use it ...so it looks like you have done the right thing...fingers crossed for the next few nights
Mrs Fish & Kezza; I had a few weeks free of morning sickness then indigestion/reflux hit so, yes, I'm still waking feeling sick every morning too ..cant face eating first thing, but once I do I'm fine (infact can't stop!!!....perhaps I should hold off from that first mouthful a bit longer )
Alice & Lisa; sorry you both had bad nights...expected to have one myself as LO decided to practise Riverdance at 10.30 last night but he/she settled down after we had watched our recording of Sats Dr Who..so perhaps it was the "Master" who had him/her disturbed..oops!...the good thing was that the kicks were higher up than usual..level with my tummy button.. so it looks like he/she is turning and I'll get some relief from the boots in the bum and cervix that have had me looking like I've just been goosed for the past few weeks!
Inzi; Hope today goes better and quicker than you expected..one day down, not many more to go

Mumpbump · 02/07/2007 11:38

Morning! Can't believe that this new thread was started on Friday evening and there are already 172 messages on it... I am not even going to try to catch up... Off to read the last day or so and then back a bit later to post!

alicet · 02/07/2007 11:39

Floria glad you managed to get a good night's sleep in despite the dancing!!

MrsFish I still get the occasional sick feelings. Usually settles when I eat although unlike earlier I don't feel hungry when this happens. Thanksfully not too common though - hope you feel better later.

Pram shopping this am was fun but didn't heklp me decide. Prob going for a maclaren twin techno. Not perfect but on the days ds1 is in nursery will be able to use the pram of my quinny buzz. And compared to the mountain buggy its a bargain!

designerbaby · 02/07/2007 11:43

HI all,

Well, having been offline all weekend I don't stand a chance of catching up on all that's been going on... Hope everyone's well and bumps are happy and wriggling away

Was brought back down to earth with a bit of a bump this morning - on another message board I look on from time to time, the first October babies have just been born... twins at 26 weeks. Very small but doing OK apparently.

It's quite a shocker though - there was me thinking it was all a way off yet - to see that the first are born already. Makes me think perhaps that shopping trip this weekend is just as well.

Just a quick question about stretch marks - when do these delightful additions to our lives usually start to make an appearance?

I don't have any yet, [prematurely smug emoticon] and wondering if I'm exceptionally fortunate, or it's just too early and they're going to hit me with a vengeance in a few weeks, in revenge for being audatious enough to think I might have escaped them...

Just wondering... 32 years on and you can still see my mum's...

DB

lisad123 · 02/07/2007 11:52

My word, babies coming already

My stretch marks have already started but im huge already. i only had a few stretchmarks appear very late in my preganncy last time, about 35 weeks.

Oh i wish i was pram shopping, or any sort of shopping to be honest

Hugs to all

Lisa
