Have I started a new thread?

I'm just gutting the house of all of dh's/ds's crap that they've left in various rooms. I had my luxurious night/breakfast and now feel ready to tackle the house before they get home 3p ish.

I think I should send them to mil's more often as normally mil's weekend is always stressful and I hate being there, now we have happy dh, happy ds, ecstatic mil, happy me, tidy house........ and I've found I've got cream carpets under all the junk hoorah!

oh buffy hasn't been back, hope she's ok, my nana has had an operation on her leg, don't see her much but thought i should make an effort.

Les-i'm still smoking too more than ever actually, bad mother that i am

Ditto Inzis wish; so wish I had been here last night...we were didning with in-laws and then supported local pub in first no smoking weekend...I've not been in there in over 6 months because of lo and not wanting to breathe in smoke (lovely old fashioned place but rubbish extraction/ventilation ) .... and have to say that the smokers were as ridiculous and irrational as TLEs spelling bullies (amusingly so) but for us non smokers it was such bliss to come home with clear eyes and still smelling of ourselves...(sorry smokers )
Buffy I hope you phoned the mw; best be safe than sorry. Let us know how you are.[concerned smiley).

If you want a thread that would get them going, do the smoking when pregnant post!! I know some of you still are smoking but personally have no experience of giving up.

I love the no smoking rules now, lovely and fresh.

agree with the smoking ban myself, wish i could stop, but the more i stress about it, the more i smoke! i know i'm very bad and wish i could stop but i can't atm, smoked with dd too although not as heavily as this time

J20 sorry your struggling to give up, my sister manages in every pregnancy but then starts up pretty soon after.
I never smoked so have no idea at all.

Mil bought some baby clothes which is lovely.

morning all - hope everyone had a good weekend. The other posts sound a good laugh! I need to ask a question - my DH was home on Sunday and to celebrate I made a banoffee pie (don't usually like it, but he does) - became addicted, ate two massive slices (it was Soooo rich) and had a glass of wine (which was bigger than I hd intended) - anyway, went to bed feeling terrible, really sick and dizzy, LO was manic; got some sleep but still feeling really groggy and nauseous this morning. Do you think it's possible to feel like that from a sugar overload? Really regretting it - and the wine, which has sent me on a total guilt trip......any thoughts anyone??

Funny you should say that, I came over all funny last night, sick, hot and dizzy. I'd had a huge sunday dinner at tea time and 3 penguins just before going to bed . I do feel better this morning though. Apparently we get another big hormone rush this month so all the sickness and dizziness can come back for a bit so might have been that.

I doubt very much it had anything to do with the glass of wine, one glass isn't going to do do any harm at this stage

I;m sure that's fine nellie -think of all of the binge drinkers that seem to pop out babies that are fine! I find atm that if I overeat I feel a little sick and are knackered in the evenings!!

Apparently 'little and often' is good at this stage.
