Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 17:00

JBM, all this talk of your bathroom reminds me.....

......Annobal, did you get your ratty problems sorted out?

familygirl · 26/06/2007 17:11

Not sure I'm going to miss being pregnant...but you never know! I've never gone this long before-feels like an elephant pregnancy (and I feel like an elephant). TA how did you keep going for so long?!
Hope this isn't too gross a question, but is it possible to do your own membrane sweep?

justbeme · 26/06/2007 17:14

Hi Familygirl - Cant see you on the june stats list - when r u due?/were due?

There was a conversation on here a few threads ago about doing your own sweep - (i think) - but most couldnt reach when they tried!

familygirl · 26/06/2007 17:18

Was due Thursday (21st), so 40+5 today.

justbeme · 26/06/2007 17:20

Oh dear! I went 10 days over with my DD b4 -This ones due 29th
What other children do you have?

familygirl · 26/06/2007 17:28

DS is 4 1/2 (born 38+2) and DD is 2 (born 40+3)
So it seems they're getting later!

familygirl · 26/06/2007 17:32

I'm trying not to think Will today be the day every day, but when bouts of BH keep getting my hopes up it's hard not to!

annobal · 26/06/2007 17:38

Yay - dinner over (on the couch watching Toy Story - mother of the year, me!).

Daisy, rat problem sorted out but still scared the little bastards will return

I think I'm going to miss hanging out with George while Tom's at nursery.

4 hours sleep in a row (but I'm not getting that now)

We're almost at the stage where we can go out with just scooters - that's gone away

Changing nappies - George is just out of them

I read loads while bf so I think that will probably happen again.

However I'm really looking forward to enjoying HOT WEATHER if it ever comes...

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 17:41

The difference diphlodohus is that I had a horrible pregnancy and didn't enjoy it very much (apart from maybe weeks 23-32)

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 18:01

Evening all! hmm, I forgot hot cups of tea are soon to be a thing of the past!

How funny is that Derlor! What were you doing in Sydney? We're you doing the backpacking thing? I was there for about 2 years in Newtown mostly. Shame about the drummer though. He was also Paul The Cook in the Wiggles I believe. How I've come full circle!

I got a good result today! Someone came up to me in the playground and asked if I wanted one of those battery powered babyswings, which is now installed in my lounge. They are meant to be very good for windy babies - and also keeping them up high away from the other little **ers.

Oh, I know that will get me in trouble, but its all kicking off and I don't have the energy to shout!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 18:10

Why is it all kicking off? DCs being rowdy again? DP being a twunt?

C'mon get it all out, you'll feel better!

derlor · 26/06/2007 18:14

foxy do you remember seeing that twat climbing up the roof of the opera house at the CH concert??? (it wasn't me or DH by the way.......was it you?????0

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 18:47

I do rememeber him! And no, wasn't me either!

Oh, just 3 tired children. Boys didn't go to sleep until 9 last night so are being a right pain in the arse!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 18:52

early night in order then.....

...DD has pooed her nappy again...do i change her now, knowing that she will wake up and want feeding and will balls up DSs bedtime.....or do I get DS ready for bed, then change her and he can sit and watch tv whilst I feed her, and hope that she will be done before he needs to go up....or do I put DS to bed right now (he WILL protest) then sort DD out?

How the f*** do you manage with three?????

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 19:19

Option 2. He'll love her even more as he'll get to stay up for more TV.

My general rule, newest comes last. Sad, but true!

KDRacey · 26/06/2007 19:20

Hi all

Well sorry this is sooooooooooo late, but

BIRTH ANNOUNCMENT
Baby Tom Andrew was born back on Saturday 16 June at 2049, weighing 7lb 10oz.

Things didn't go quite according to plan. I was induced due to sudden high BP, all kicked off well (found to be 2cm dilated before induction and hadn't felt a thing!!!). Laboured through to 8pm when I was about 8cm dilated but then problems getting a good heart rate from little Tom, so was was whisked of for an emergency caesarean. Home now and slowly recovering. Latter stages of pregnancy have not been helped by an evil rash, everywhere, which turns out to be a thing called PUPPPs, not nice but having Tom makes it all worth while.

Congratulations to all the other new Mums out there. I shall try and catch up with all the stories soon.

And good luck to those still waiting - the end is in sight.

lilKelBel · 26/06/2007 19:21

hi Daisy guess you already chose a course of action by now but it sounds like DS goes to bed first, then sort out DD.

Managing with three -- impossible IMHO! I must figure out how to do 2 first!!!

I'm so looking forward to Fword tonight.

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 19:25

Congratulations KDRacey on the birth of Tom.

sorry your pg got yucky at the end. Has the rash cleared up now. I hope you are recovering from your section. It's three weeks since mine and I only feel like resuming normal life now, but still have a bit of wound trouble.

There's a Post Natal Thread but we've all been flitting back and forward.

Hope Tom is doing well.

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 19:27

went for option 2....now DD is back to sleep and I'm free to put DS to bed and even read him a story.

It's easy this solo parenting lark

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 19:40

spoke too soon....ds had almighty tantrum so has been put to bed without a story, and DD has started screaming......aaaarrrrggghghghgh

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 19:41

Drop of cooking sherry, dear?

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 19:48

LOL.....large glass of red waiting in the kitchen for when i've finished feeding young miss!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 19:54

ooooohhhh eastenders. Dawn has left keith babysitting for the biggest three day old baby in the world (its sitting up looking around ffs) and gone out partying!

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 19:58

hilarious, isn't it?!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 20:06

i'm surprised she can walk after lobbing out that monster, let alone dance
