Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

Text from FOXY
she just going in for scan and sweep now

i told her to request for sweep to be done with a pineapple

i'll update you as i know any more xx

daisyandbabybootoo · 09/07/2007 13:36

gosh derlor...just caught the "text from foxy" and got all giddy and exciteable there!

i will be coming up to scotland sometime in the week of the 6th august if you fancy a meet up.

how easy is it for you to get to glasgow...we could see if tallulah wants to join us?

foxybrown · 09/07/2007 15:28

ooh, don't get excited! Scan showed a number of meat-filled pastry products, not a baby after all!!

annobal · 09/07/2007 16:20

LOL Foxy

I went to see a cranial osteopath this afternoon - she was fab. I ended up not opting for the sweep as I figure if a sweep was going to do anything it would have done something on Friday and nothing is going to shift this baby if it doesn't want to come yet.

Foxy and JBM, hope you are both okay xx

derlor · 09/07/2007 16:23

hey annobal, i so hope it was a MW doing the sweep and NOT the osteopath?!?!?!?!?

annobal · 09/07/2007 17:15

LOL Derlor - now that would be above and beyond...

justbeme · 09/07/2007 17:38

Still ok - more show! (tmi) - no real contractions though just grumbles, hope that something kicks off tonight though!

Glad your scan was ok Foxy (yesss thanks for telling us!! had to read it on the post natal thread - you defector!!)

Havent heard from the MW again - I bet she's gone off duty now!! Oh well, I'll call them tomorrow if nothings happened.

bumperlicious · 09/07/2007 17:46

How are you all doing? If any of you are actually sleeping at night at the moment make the most of it!

annobal · 09/07/2007 17:50

Hi Bumper! I take it you're not getting a lot of sleep at the moment? I'm not sure what is worse - the sleepless nights or being pregnant How is your little girl? I like your sling btw.

bumperlicious · 09/07/2007 17:52

She is gorgeous, just still suffering from wind a bit. I'm hoping it's just temporary and coz she is so young. In she mostly sleeps ok, I need to learn to sleep better though!

The sling is fab, not sure if we will ever get her out of it though!

So on the postnatal thread we are mostly talking about poo!

annobal · 09/07/2007 18:22

Ah, I remember those poo discussions. By the time I get over there you would have moved on to walking!!

foxybrown · 09/07/2007 20:41

sorry JBM! I get so confused about which one I've posted on.

contractions were happening regularly.

but guess what?! They've farking well stopped they must have been my 7 - 8 pm contractions. I'll still get them if she comes out won't I?

Any progress?

bumperlicious · 09/07/2007 22:03

foxy, did you remove your profile? i'm sure you had one before.

justbeme · 09/07/2007 22:46

Well - Folks - this "could" be it!!
have started a live birth thread in the hope that it is - now you know I can't do links - lets see if this works...
Justbeme may Justbe in Labour!

justbeme · 09/07/2007 22:48

no!
Oh well - have a look anyway!!

annobal · 10/07/2007 05:42

Is anyone around? Have been up for 2 1/2 hours now with contractions every 8-10 mins lasting about 1 min. Hopefully not another false alarm but they have never woken me up before...

trendaverter · 10/07/2007 06:59

I'm here annobal! How's it going??

foxybrown · 10/07/2007 07:24

ooh, whats happening??!! How exciting!

foxybrown · 10/07/2007 07:28

here! I'll do it for you justbememightjustbeinlabour

derlor · 10/07/2007 09:01

annobal?????? anything to tell us?
COME ON FOXY - today seems to be the day!!!!

foxybrown · 10/07/2007 09:44

ANY NEWS?!

Oh, sorry - no pressure - worse than being in the playground - I should say:

"Still here then?"

nothing from me. I just want the AN thread all to myself

How are you derlor?

I did have 3 teaspoons of castor oil, which does exactly what it says on the tin, but hasn't had the desired side effect. Wasn't brave enough to drink the recommended 8 teaspoons or half a cup. (I spoke to the MW beforehand to check with her if I should).

Am currently calling around local acupuncturists.

DP doing school run, has obviously taken himself to the cafe to avoid my insistance that he drops the kids and comes home to get jiggy. After seeing me being violently sick this morning I'm not sure he's going to be able to perform

daisyandbabybootoo · 10/07/2007 09:49

morning foxy.....feeling for you all alone here now!

castor oil...you are a very very brave soul indeed, I've only ever heard horrible things of it.

anything for you?.....even a tiny eeny weeny itsy bitsy contraction?
i'm supposed to be houseworking, but I'll keep you company for a while if you like!

foxybrown · 10/07/2007 09:53

Its a chance worth taking I think! Have heard mixed stories, hence my trepidation at sculling the bottle. The mum who gave it to me had 8 spoons and went into labour within the hour. Another poo'd over her daughter during birth. I feel very cleansed from within though!!

Isn't it exciting, a simultaneous birth?!

daisyandbabybootoo · 10/07/2007 09:56

all we need is you to go as well and have a triple.....

you did say you would be last....pity we didn't put real bets on it

I think Derlor has tried castor oil before . I'm sure it just gave her the squits!

daisyandbabybootoo · 10/07/2007 09:57

TA is JBM's text buddy, but who is Annobal's?
