Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

Hi Annobal!
Thats a pain about the tyre!
Ohh you are having a busy day!
What is it with everyone getting home visits from the midwife!!
(mind you I suppose it gets me out the house!)

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:17

It is lovely having home visits! Not sure what to suggest for the hip pain. Also been feeling like I've been kicked in the fanjo - anyone else feeling this - it really hurts.

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 10:18

no babies yet then?

god you all didn't really need to be asked that did you? sorry

anyway, sending you all big labour vibes, except Foxy, obviously....leg crossing vibes for you, hun!!

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:19

Hi Daisy, how's Emily?

justbeme · 26/06/2007 10:21

Hi Daisy!
I get that fanjo pain more so when Im walking - mind you last night when I was sitting down - LO punched me SOOOoo hard in between my legs - I shot right up -
the thing is I think it may be to do with the fibroid thats sitting there.
Im going to have to mention to the MW on wed that Im a tad worried. The consultant decided at 36 weeks (now 39+) that the fibroid had moved a bit to the right, so LO should be ok to be born naturally. But that was 3 weeks ago - how do they KNOW?
Ive got visions of going through loads of pain and then them saying "Stop" emergency CS needed.

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:25

Oh JBM - I'd definitely go and see your consultant again just to put your mind at rest. Also, ask them to explain why. You don't want to be going into labour with that on your mind!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 10:27

Hi guys....she's fine, putting on weight and thriving, but still pooing for her country. she can be a bit lazy with her latch though!

Ahhhh the distant memory of pregnancy aches and pains...its amazing how it all just disappears afterwards!

Not long now though for evryone, I'm sure!!

Good luck with the MWs

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:32

She sounds like a dream and you seem to be coping really well. As much as I want this LO out I'm not sure how I'm going to cope with 3 under 4 . How's mystic red ranger taken to his sister?

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:35

Midwife here. Catch up later

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 10:45

MRR loves his sister to bits, and quite emphatically doesn't want to give her back. She's too wee to smile yet, but her face lights up when she sees him and she looks for him if she hears his voice. Its just so so lovely to watch.

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 10:47

Annobal, i'm sure you'll adjust really well, and it'll be great seeing the interact with each other. Can't remember if you know what you're having?

annobal · 26/06/2007 11:52

That's really lovely Daisy! I'm having another boy (yep, that's 3 boys) - there was no mistaking it!!

Right, am off to Sainsburys on a brisk walk, see if I can start something off!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 26/06/2007 15:19

Hullo................
Anyone there.........................

Just checking in today to see how everyone is doing?
Must be having some rl experiences today? or looking after your lo's? or having a lo?
Dunno?
I'm doing non of the above! Most exciting activity of the day so far has been hanging the washing out on the line in the wind!

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 16:01

hmm, no on all counts there! been lurking around, but boys want pc now, so will disappear again.

back in half an hour

derlor · 26/06/2007 16:10

foxy just read you saying about being at Crowded House's last ever gig at Sydney opera house. I WAS THERE TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! how weird is that, was probably standing right next to you??!?!?!?!

annobal · 26/06/2007 16:36

Hi everyone, I love Crowded House - didn't see them at Sydney Opera House though - that sounds very cool.

Just going to put some pasta on for dinner - left overs from last night. Boys watching Toy Story...

derlor · 26/06/2007 16:45

oh shit dinner, i KNEW i was supposed to be doing something......>>>

annobal · 26/06/2007 16:47

You gourmet you

Diplidophus · 26/06/2007 16:52

Hi everyone. I find myself so desperate to have the a baby now that I'm forgetting that I like being pregnant. How about the things we'll miss about being pregnant.?

Time to myself (only the last week though in my case)
Reading a book
Finishing a cup of tea
Feeling the baby move
Being as horny as hell
Being treated as 'special'

justbeme · 26/06/2007 16:54

Hiya!
Well Im super prepared - have made shepherds pie and it just needs half an hour now to cook -
but got the "MIL" coming round in a minute for her usual tuesday dinner - great fun - NOT!.
The plumbers still here and guess what? - My upstairs toilet is back in action ! Yay!!! no more trips down the stairs in the middle of the night! He said that he hopes to finish both bathrooms by saturday as well - so the end is in sight ( I hope!)

justbeme · 26/06/2007 16:56

Time to myself - yes - will miss that

Reading a book - No - havent read a book for about 1 year

Finishing a cuppa - yes - can remember the horrible cold tea syndrome

Feeling the baby move - mmm I like the little movements - but you can keep the Masshooove ones - they hurt

Feeling horny as hell - WTF?? er no

Being treated as special - cant say that I have been actually!!

daisyboo · 26/06/2007 16:57

good points diplodophus, but....

....having a warm sweet smelling bundle curled up on your chest is much much nicer

too tired to miss being horny

managing to prop my book up on my bf pillow and read whilst bf!

being a new mum is pretty special and you still get loads of attention as everyone wants to cluck at the baby!

Do miss having a hot cup of tea though

Diplidophus · 26/06/2007 16:58

So is there anything else you'll miss?

Diplidophus · 26/06/2007 16:59

Don't get me wrong - I'm desperate to have my baby. Was just trying stay positive!

Nwever did master reading and bf'ing. Maybe this time!

justbeme · 26/06/2007 16:59

Being able to run out the house at the drop of a hat just taking some money and keys with me!!
