Hope no-one else has started a new thread, I couldn't find it if so.

Just wanted to send hugs of support to Holly. I hope it all goes well.

Will check in tomorrow if I can to update.

Good luck!

Oh FFS...the bloody child is laughing and sucking its hands!

riabutterflew · 25/06/2007 20:32

bloody hell, some days i didn't manage to comb my hair before babypootle. There's no hope for me then.

I'm just hoping mine isn't that big when he comes out!!!

My crampy lower bump seems to have buggered off now
I never thought I'd find myself actually wanting a bit of pain!

Daisy - I'll ask my mum about doing a chart - she's not done one for ages but will prob want to get into it again to do this lo's when he gets here.

She's full of it at the mo! I am a Cancerian with 7 out of my 12 houses in Cancer (which means I'm VERY Cancer) so she is convinced I will have my Cancarian baby on the full moon - in water personally I'm hoping it will happen before Saturday!

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 20:38

you comb baby pootles hair? what is he, a gorilla?

no wonder you've not posted a photo

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 20:44

LOL DKMA, I always thought it would be great to have a parent who was a bit wacky....I'm sure the novelty would soon wear off though and be replaced by the cringe factor!

How would she deal with my dd who was wrenched out into the world before she was ready to come...does that muck up the chart?

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 20:45

Sorry, ria, my poor attempt at ascerbic wit was maybe a bit cruel

riabutterflew · 25/06/2007 20:47

LOL daisy! (he actually does have hair, which is an improvement on my other babies who were virtually bald until they were 2).

Daisy - Don't think it matters how we are born - they just work out where all the planets are at the actual time of birth... I think? I don't know tho - I will ask her.

Yes wacky is a good way to describe her..... She is however very disappointed that I haven't had her grandchild earlier so he could have been a Gemini like her - as they are much better people and are more fun than us moody and sensitive Cancerians , cheeky cow!!!!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/06/2007 20:53

Hiya Ria!
Hope you're ok?
You make me LOL - you have a great way with words!

derlor · 25/06/2007 20:53

Oh you're all over here are you?????

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/06/2007 20:55

Yeh - please stay (says DKMA in a 'I'm a billy no mates with no baby' kind of way!)

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 20:56

Oh, No...another evening of thread jumping and chasing each other around in circles!

bumperlicious · 25/06/2007 20:58

Hi girls and babies and bumps! Looking, sending labour vibes to you. This dual thread is getting confusing!

God you wouldn't believe the amount of trashy tv that dh and I are watching in the early hours of the morning. I'm preferring cribs and newlyweds, dh likes documentaries on monkeys and things !

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/06/2007 21:01

Bugger it.....
Sometimes I just feel like pretending I've had this baby so I can join in more, and hang out on the PN thread with all the rest of you!

Yeh my nips hurt too.... yeh yeh...and what else? Can't think!

Grrrrr want my baby!

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 21:03

I've been feeding DD in bed...maybe I should get up and watch some crap TV instead.

How are things today Bumper? have the nipple shields made a difference?

derlor · 25/06/2007 21:05

you can crash into post natal anytime , you'll be there soon enough, enjoy your last unbroken nights sleep while you can.
hey bumper i've emailed you x

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 21:07

The pace of life is much slower postnatal DKMA.....although I seem to be here an awful lot . But that's only cos DH is being my bitch at the moment and is at my beck and call. All of this will change next week as I have a nervous breakdown on top of my existing nervous breakdown, getting bogged down in washing ironing school runs nipples feeding nappies etc etc etc

bumperlicious · 25/06/2007 21:10

Nipple shields didn't work when we got them as the milk wasn't flowing well enough and LO would suck on them. Haven't tried them since as we are doing ok with feeding at the moment, except it is such an ordeal each time and require DH to hold her hands out of the way! We are latching on eventually and she is feeding lots, gained weight, just has the most painful wind Looking forward to it getting easier. Can't imagine going out and bfing, not because I'm shy but it's just such a faff!

Derlor, thanks so much for your kind email, I really appreciate your support, that goes for all of you too. You have been so brilliant, and I think about all of you and your bumps and babies when not online

bumperlicious · 25/06/2007 21:16

I've bought a nursing chair . I know it seems so unnecessary but just v uncomfy on the sofa and in bed, and in our sleepless fraught haze DH and I were both like f*ck it, we need to do anything that will make this easier! Hopefully it's coming tomorrow. When we were in hospital after the turning blue incident I fed in a nice solid chair and it made such a difference.

derlor · 25/06/2007 21:34

Oh, enjoy your nursing chair Bumper my sister has one of them and i have a shot on it every time i'm at her house , trying to work out a way of nicking it!!!!
i'm off to bed cause i know i need to take every opportunity to sleep night all x

daisyboo · 25/06/2007 21:51

bumper, with DS I had to strip to the waist, so BF in public for me was a definate no-no.

bugger, i've missed derlor...i think dd has the squits. I think it might be the anti-biotics I've been on, but I don't know how serious it is.

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 25/06/2007 21:56

Night everyone - i'm going to do my hypnotherapy then get some ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ'ds
I wish I could get a full night sleep - but for the last month I seem to be only able to get 3 hrs at a time before I wake up with a sore hip - need a pee then take 1 hr to get back to sleep!
It seems such a waste of precious sleep time prior to having my lo and it's very lonely wandering around the house in the middle of the night on my own. Not for much longer - I hope.

foxybrown · 26/06/2007 07:38

Morning all! Sleep well? Any movement from any lo's during the night?

justbeme · 26/06/2007 09:48

Morning!!
NO no movement!
Im with DKMA on the sore hip front - I was going to ask if anyone had any tips -
cos were supposed to lie on our left side, all the pressures bearing down on your hip and I wake up with it feeling numb.

God ive got nothing planned for today - apart from the plumber coming at 4!!!

annobal · 26/06/2007 10:04

Morning. No movement here either, apart from loads of twinges again last night. Woke up at 4 AGAIN (at every hour before that ). Then managed to get a puncture in the wheel of the stroller on the way to nursery so had to push it there and back with a flat tyre.

Anyway, I've had a good cry and feeling a bit better.

On the plus side, DS2 fell asleep on the way home so I have half an hour to chill with a cup of tea before the midwife comes. Then Sainsbury's, meeting a friend for coffee before nursery then friends over for supper.
