It is nearly December and I am sure all we want for Xmas are healthy pregnancies and babies Star

Good luck to everyone still here and so sorry for how many we have already lost on the way Flowers

I've dug out the good old maternity jeans today ! Only 5 weeks but so so bloated already! I still have no symptoms of sickness or sore boobs etc but I think my sickness kicked in at 6 weeks last time . I did have a lot of cramping and stomach ache yesterday though !

Laburna · 25/11/2018 17:06

@blueeyedviking sorry you're feeling rubbish, but glad to hear it's not just me.

Praying it passes soon as I've no clue how I'll cope with a toddler tomorrow on my own when I've barely made it off the sofa today!

smerlin · 25/11/2018 17:13

Thanks for the support and sorry @AIDE2424 that you are going through similar. Bleeding just turned to brown now so maybe still hope. Was surprised they could barely see anything on the scan. If all is going well, I must be out on the dates. Clearblue said 2-3 weeks (post-conception) last Tuesday but 7 by LMP. I thought 6 based on my tracking.

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 17:18

I ordered a book the other day called Pregnancy day by day. It arrived today and it's really good!

I'm waiting for the family to leave so I can have a good look through it. As not all of them know yet.

Capybaras · 25/11/2018 17:18

Is anyone else concerned with their lack of symptoms? Not that I want to feel unwell but apart from being tired, and bigger boobs I don't really feel pregnant. Makes me think that it's all in my head! 7+3 now which is when most people say the symptoms rack up so I feel a bit of a fraud. (Hope I'm not tempting fate with morning sickness!).

Interesting to hear all the bra talk - I didn't realise that underwiring wasn't recommended in pregnancy - glad to hear others have found non-underwired supportive though (I'm an E normally and already gone up at least a cup size!)

Also are others having sex? We dtd for the first time in a week this morning and I found it a bit painful going in (I'm not sure if this is because subconciously I was worried about DTD as I cramped after the last time we did!). Once he was in it was fine and no cramping after this time but just something I've been wary of!

smerlin · 25/11/2018 17:19

Also so my only contributions aren't my own self-pity, on the bra front, I couldn't bear underwire from about 10 weeks last time. Any pressure on my rib cage rather than my boobs was unbearable! I had a black pinstripe bra by Royce that I wore again and again. ASOS seems to have a lot of sleep bras that are really cheap

jq28 · 25/11/2018 17:27

@Capybaras I'm the same! Literally could of described your 'symptoms' as mine to a tee!like you say, don't want to tempt fate but it doesn't feel real yet. I'm 6+3.

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 17:29

@Capybaras I too worry about lack of symptoms, especially reading all the symptoms in this group.
But apparently some women get no symptoms whatsoever so I wouldn't worry.
My boobs have calmed down completely, they only hurt a little previously anyway. I also don't have any nausea except the odd wave which sometimes I wonder if it's wishful thinking more than anything else.
My only consistent symptom since my BFP is a very very dry mouth and thirst. Other than that I would even know I was pregnant, apart from being tired but that's not terribly unusual for me

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 17:30

Oh and I'm 9 weeks today so doubt symptoms will kick in now

Capybaras · 25/11/2018 17:40

It's good to know I'm not the only one @jq28 @frazzlerock
It's odd because you obviously don't want to feel crap, and I really feel for those who do, but you also want to 'feel' pregnant so you know it's not all in your head! I'm just hoping the 12 week scan will help to prove I'm actually pregnant!

Onestep2 · 25/11/2018 18:06

Caught up on thread. Heart breaking to hear of all the losses and heart ache.

I've had a shit weekend. Feel constantly sick, no appetite, keep doing really sicky burps, feel all over the place. Spent all day on the couch.... total waste of a day but needed

@capybaras we have been back to having sex a few times a week much to DHs delight. After found out we had a few weeks with very little sex which think affected us both. We've always associated sex with intimacy and both were missing it..... thou will prob have to get use to it once baby arrives!! 😂

StargazyDrifter · 25/11/2018 18:23

I've also been feeling very sicky and wiped out all weekend, had plans to do this and that, nothing accomplished and feeling really guilty about that. But the extra naps and rest must be doing good. Still struggling with appetite too but I think a bit better than last week even if not back on full portions. Still 4 weeks and 3 days to go.

Onestep2 · 25/11/2018 18:50

@starGazyDrifter it's horrible eh? I have the Sunday night shame that I've wasted a whole weekend. I even brought work home to do but haven't been arsed doing that either so am in for a busy week 😂

DH is currently cooking away making dinner which smells amazing but at same time is making me feel sick. 😭😭😭😭

Chinks123 · 25/11/2018 18:54

Is anyone else feeling huge already? I’m only 6 weeks, and I’m massively bloated! I didn’t show at all until 25 weeks with my first. Apart from that my only “symptom” is really really painful trapped wind! I had it the whole way through last time, and nothing shifts it, I just have a pain in my stomach for hours.

jaykaydee · 25/11/2018 18:56

@capybaras Once only since we found out last week but the tiredness is kicking in so I'm not sure it'll happen again for a while! I'm not against the idea but at the moment if I'm bed I want to be sleeping!

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 18:59

@Chinks123 my tummy is huge already but I think that's because 1. This is my fifth pregnancy and 2. I need to lay off the carbs.

As I said earlier, DP mentioned my tummy last night and asked me if it was normal 😂
This will be his first baby and our losses didn't get quite this far so he has no idea!

Chinks123 · 25/11/2018 19:11

Haha @Frazzlerock my dp said the same thing. “That didn’t happen last time” That’s lovely though that he’s getting to experience it for the first time. My belly is very rounded and bloaty looking. (I have had 2 takeaways this week so it could be that) Smile

hayleyfx · 25/11/2018 19:13

@Chinks123 I’m so bloated it’s ridiculous, I always get bloated when pregnant but this time it’s like x100 🙈
This is my 6th pregnancy but hopefully my first baby. Maybe that’s why the bloat is so much more noticeable this time around!

@AIDE2424 I’m sorry - what a worry for you. Keep us updated, really hoping to hear some good news from you soon. Fingers crossed 🤞 x

Chinks123 · 25/11/2018 19:22

Ah I didn’t get it last time @hayleyfx, so I keep thinking I’m further on than I am because my belly’s so round! Everything crossed for you x

Jojobunny · 25/11/2018 19:38

Hi Edinburghlass here 8 + 2 days already! Really sad to here about all the losses :( I’ve got my early scan tomorrow so scared

StargazyDrifter · 25/11/2018 19:49

Onestep2 exactly the same here, both on the work and on dinner 😭😭😭

SnailorSwift · 25/11/2018 20:34

Glad I'm not alone in being freezing, permanently exhausted and unable to move most of the weekend!

I'm back to work tomorrow after taking sick leave last week and honestly dreading it.

Squ1ggle · 25/11/2018 20:41

I'm also huge (8 weeks). I showed relatively early with ds but not this much, I'm petrified it's twins. Trying to convince dh to let me get a private early scan but he's not having it

Chinks123 · 25/11/2018 21:14

Yes I’m trying not to think about the twin possibility..we have them on both sides of our family. Only worried because we’d have to move house!

pancakes22 · 25/11/2018 21:24

Thought you may be amused to hear that my evening snack tonight ended up being a shepherds pie....!
