@smerlen I had proper red blood last Sunday and all was fine at scan on Wednesday, they said it’s often just implantation still/bean making itself comfy. I had a massive panic but the EPU just said to keep an eye on it. Is there a lot/has it stopped? Not necessarily bad news x

hayleyfx · 25/11/2018 09:02

@smerlin I’m so sorry, what a worry. Going to be keeping everything crossed for you that all is okay like it was last time 🤞 hugs xx

TwinkleDay · 25/11/2018 09:04

@smerlin sorry to hear this any bleed is frightening! How far along are you? When I was 6 + 2 I had one ( don’t expect you to scroll back lol ) it lasted about 2 hours but think it was something to do with implantation bleed and something to do with the placenta taking over xx

smerlin · 25/11/2018 09:27

Think I'm 6+1. Nearly at hospital now. Why is pregnancy so frightening! I definitely worry less now DD is actually here!!

RooKangaroo · 25/11/2018 09:43

Sorry for the panic, @smerlin, and hope EPU can help and reassure. Let us know how you get on.

smerlin · 25/11/2018 09:55

Wow staff at the hospital incredibly rude. Can't believe it- am sitting in a room of women worrying about miscarriage and the staff have just basically bullied one of the women who has just arrived.

RooKangaroo · 25/11/2018 09:56

@smerlin, WTF?? What have they said to her?

RooKangaroo · 25/11/2018 10:03

Regarding bras, I discovered Molke about a year ago while on the hunt for a 'everyday' bra that is also ok for breastfeeding given I'm nursing my toddler. I got so fed up with rubbish nursing bras and having to unclip the cups all the time.

Molke bras get talked down on MN for not being sexy, but I bloody love them. They're the most comfortable bras I've ever worn, they come in awesome designs, AND they give me the best lift and cleavage I've ever had Grin. They seem to push my boobs together more than other bras so my overall chest is narrower. I didn't have a clean one the other day so grabbed an old 'normal' bra from the drawer and fuck me, I looked about a stone bigger and wider.

The only downside is that I can't wear thin strappy tops, as the Molke bra straps are so wide, but it's not a huge problem. I'm massively bought into the BoB sizing (I'm 34 JJ in that sizing), and it makes so much more sense.

(Promise I'm not a sales rep for Molke - I've just never been so happy with my bra before!)

TwittleBee · 25/11/2018 10:40

Oh smerlin not great at all that you are going through this, especially at a hospital so rude! As Twinkle said, it could be implantation, a good number of us have had this at around 6 weeks! FX for you lovely x

I woke up this morning in a panic, crying and sweating... had a dream where, amongst other family stuff, Boris Johnson was my new hairdresser. 😂 Time to stop watching the news before bed. The vivid dreams are really something.

edidxb great to hear from you, and hope work at least isn't too demanding today. Best of luck for your scan, more likely to be good news than anything else, which you already know. I've also convinced myself to keep thinking this is the one until I have evidence to the contrary. Hadn't fully appreciated how much of an influence previous MMC/MCs can be, but they are just that, history. 😊

smerlin definitely could be ok still, hope they're kind to you, hugs.

smerlin · 25/11/2018 12:42

Thank you for everyone's kind messages- such a supportive thread! Scan was inconclusive unfortunately. Can see a sac but nothing else at the moment so have to go back in a week, or sooner if bleeding gets worse.

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 12:46

Morning all, actually, afternoon..

@smerlin sorry you're having this panic, I think we have all had a panic of some kind where we've been sure it's all over and it hasn't been so keep up your positivity. I think the majority of the ladies here have had a bleed at some point so far.
I hope you get seen soon x

Well I can't contribute to the bra talk as my boobs aren't very big and they're not any bigger now at 9 weeks pregnant! (But I don't have many milk glands 😢)
If I got measured in the shops I'd probably be a 34/36B but I do the bra intervention thing and I've been wearing 32D for a few years now, which fit beautifully. Someone is going to ask me about the bra intervention thing aren't they... I will try and find the instructions!
There are lots of threads on MN about it.
I would never get measured in a shop now.

We've family over today, so I've made two massive lasagnes. I always forget how time consuming they are.

My tummy is bigger than ever this weekend. I put on a dress last night and DP touched my tummy and was like "you're looking really big Fraz!" Today I am in proper maternity jeans, there's no point being uncomfortable.
They are New Look Emilie ones if anyone is interested, and they are pretty comfy! I'm a size 12 and the size 12 fits spot on.

I really hope everyone else is okay today.
The ones who have had bad news recently please let us know how you're getting on Thanks

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 12:47

I meant to add @RooKangaroo I have no idea why I said March! I actually meant Sept 🙄 Can I blame pregnancy hormones for that? 😁

hayleyfx · 25/11/2018 13:03

@smerlin I’m so sorry everything is still uncertain. I really hope you get good news soon. Hugs x

I’m only 5+3 but I honestly look 4 months, I’m so bloated!! 🙈 I’m really small so my bloated stomach is so obvious! My boobs are also in agony today, I can still produce some milk since losing my son in August and today they’ve been so swollen and leaky - ouch haha!

itsallgreek · 25/11/2018 13:23

Afternoon ladies.... I've been out of the thread since i last posted busy as always... My heart is so saddened by the awful news that sone of you lovely ladies have had these days, and I wish you all the best and hope you get the support you all need.

Newbies hello and welcome congratulations on your pregnancies.

On the boob front I had almost none before and even though mine are bloated and bigger they still almost fit in my 32A padded push up bra, they'll need an upgrade next month, today on LMP I'm exactly 8 weeks last scan bean was measuring 2 day bigger but we'll see next week when I have my next scan...

Very little symptoms really and seems I having a pregnancy to envy but time will tell.

I hope to try to be on more often from now on and keep up to date too.

AIDE2424 · 25/11/2018 13:40

Well still stuck in the EPU for another night :( doctor said everything it riding on the bloods I’ll be having at 1am, if they have doubled then the pregnancy is viable, if they haven’t then unfortunately he thinks it’s a miscarriage or ectopic despite me having no bleeding apart from the tiniest amount on the tissue in the night and almost no pain at all keeping fingers crossed and keep talking to Baby pip to hang on and grow 🤞🏻Xx

SnailorSwift · 25/11/2018 14:01

Sorry to hear you are both having a hard time @smerlin and @AIDE2424

Anyone else really struggling to keep warm?! I am constantly freezing with all the layers/heat on. It's driving me mad.

Belmo · 25/11/2018 15:36

Am stuck at work in a house with 3 people smoking Envy (their house so allowed, and can’t tell them not to for various reasons. Hating every minute.
Need to talk to my boss but I know she wasn’t supportive when a colleague was pregnant last year Sad

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 15:37

@itsallgreek I'm so pleased it's not just me with barely any symptoms. Although I'm sure people with really bad nausea would be envious, it's not very encouraging is it!
But I don't think I had many symptoms with the DS's.

@AIDE2424 it's horrid being in limbo isn't it. I kind of fell a bit like that since our scan on Tues showing baby two weeks smaller, I won't know if everything's actually okay until our next scan on Weds. though I'm trying very very hard to stay positive. I hope things go well for you. Please please keep us posted, even at 1am when your bloods are done.

@SnailorSwift I'm always cold recently, though I'm a cold person generally. (Physically, not emotionally 😁).
I thought pregnancy made you hot!

amanda2809 · 25/11/2018 15:38

Yes @SnailorSwift I'm so cold! I'm also permanently knackered I've hardly done anything this weekend I'm wiped out. I've had a super short fuse with my 4 year old too. I mean he's a typical 4 year old who doesn't listen but I've had to repeat everything at least three times today.

Laburna · 25/11/2018 15:54

My sickness has properly ramped up this weekend, have actually been sick which I wasn't before, and have basically sat on the sofa or napped all day today because I feel so rubbish.

Hoping this is the last bit before it calms down, 9 weeks today, so only a bit left in this 1trimester now!

TwinkleDay · 25/11/2018 15:54

@smerlin how are you doing now? Has bleeding let up, if your 6 + 1 it could well be what I had, no cramps what so ever but friggin scary and bright red but it didn’t last too long like I said. Everyone is diffrent xx

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 16:02

Ooh @Laburna I'm also 9 weeks today, if I go by EDD, which I am doing now.

Frazzlerock · 25/11/2018 16:07

I meant LMP 🙄 MAN. I'm tired today

blueeyedviking · 25/11/2018 16:30

@smerlin and @aide2424 I hope you are both ok. Please use this group as much you want.

I'm almost 9 weeks and the nausea has turned into vomiting. Been on the sofa all day napping. Been an emotional rollercoaster of a weekend too. Yesterday my husband gave me a driving refresh session as haven't driven for years. Afterwards I had an absolute emotional breakdown as felt I didn't do well and then started comparing to what type if mum I'll be..

Does anyone else really struggle at work towards end of the week? Fridays are a struggle for me...
