Starting a new thread as we near the 1000 comment mark on the Part 2 one!

It is nearly December and I am sure all we want for Xmas are healthy pregnancies and babies Star

Good luck to everyone still here and so sorry for how many we have already lost on the way Flowers

@dartmoordoughnut

TwittleBee · 22/11/2018 07:07

Hello to all the New people! Congrats.

Those cheapie strips are awful DartmoorDoughnut I still only got shadow lines at 5 weeks but strong lines on everything else

You are so early to be getting symptoms still so don't worry too much jq28

DS has been awake since 3am. No clue how to curb this.

Thanks @AIDE2424 mine are fainter than that but I’ve had clear positives on FRERs so fingers crossed will know in a couple of hours if FRERs are still giving a strong positive. Feel nauseous and have metallic taste still so I’m trying to keep positive (that made me groan but I couldn’t think of a better word!!)

DartmoorDoughnut · 22/11/2018 07:18

Thanks @TwittleBee I’m 5 weeks today I think

Laburna · 22/11/2018 07:19

@twittlebee DS cried out every 45minutes last night. He didn't wake up or need us to go in, but he woke me up everytime 😟 so feel your pain! How old is he?

We have definitely hit the tantrum phase, he throws himself on the floor, throws his toys on the ground, refuses to stop doing things he knows he shouldn't - smacking things on the TV. It's so exhausting.

Laburna · 22/11/2018 07:24

@Dartmoordoughnut fingers crossed you get some reassurance later. I don't use the one-step ones because they never showed a line even when others were!

StargazyDrifter · 22/11/2018 07:30

Laburna your DS still pretty much sounds like my boss! 😂

DartmoorDoughnut · 22/11/2018 07:35

Thanks @Laburna this is this morning’s OneStep and a FRER I did 4 days ago. No messing about with colour changing or anything on either photo.

@kentishgal I have continued to do it too but it’s making me wake up early clock watching. My best friend has told me I need to stop and I read some bits online last night that advised to stop due to the stress and worry it can cause.
So I think I’m going to stop! X

MrsC87 · 22/11/2018 07:55

Morning ladies, so I've been feeling pretty good this week in comparison to last which then started to make me worry. Wanted to check hormone levels had progressed so purposely bought a digital too and got 3+ last night. Made me calm down and little. I'm sure the symptoms will hit me next week again as today I am 5+5.

Kentishgal · 22/11/2018 08:01

Giraffe888 yep I agree - I think this morning was my last morning. I bought a femometer last month so it was the first month I used it - considered getting an ava bracelet...glad I didn't bother now!! Daughter has a cold and started crying at 12:30 - didn't go back till 2am - but then I find I'm wide awake and cant get back to sleep - typical!

Laburna · 22/11/2018 08:04

@stargazydrifter your boss sounds like a delight!

Just had to call DH back from his commute to help sort out a mouse that just ran through our house. Have clearly been sitting in the lounge with it for the past 3 hours! Am hoping it's exited now because I don't want to sit down any more!

Onestep2 · 22/11/2018 08:13

@MyloC il be 9+1 weeks for my early scan. really just going coz im so impatient and if there is something wrong (not that i think there is) i would rather know now than wait till my 12 week scan which is 3 days before Xmas

Hope everyone has a non spewey Thursday!

and congrats to all the newbies!!

ReginaPhalange89 · 22/11/2018 08:21

@laburna ew I hate mice ! We had one in our kitchen recently and I couldn't go in without being so on edge lol

Laburna · 22/11/2018 08:23

@ReginaPhalange89 our house backs onto a park with a wood and lake so I've been getting used to visitors. Never had one in the actual house here though, just in the cupboard under the sink!

Feel the need to disinfect the entire house now though!

Giraffe888 · 22/11/2018 08:24

At what point should a CB show 2-3 weeks?

StargazyDrifter · 22/11/2018 09:03

Eww mice! We get them at work sometimes inniur beautiful but very old building. They'll be looking to keep warm, I suppose. What's that dog of yours doing, ought to be keeping watch!

ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 22/11/2018 09:04

@TwittleBee I keep going through stages of not wanting OH to touch me, or breath near me. To wanting sex like a mad women.

@Delilah7 glad to see everything is going well.

Laburna · 22/11/2018 09:16

@Giraffe888 CBdigis are awful tests, there is obviously a set range for when the HCG hits average levels for a pregnancy to be 1-2, 2-3 or 3+ weeks, but obviously they're average ranges and not everyone is going to have their HCG rise at the same rate, some people will get to 3+ before others may get to 1-2 despite being the same gestation. Please don't drive yourself mad with those bloody things!

The dog is too busy stealing things off DS and watching the garden for his nemesis 'The Squirrel'

Giraffe888 · 22/11/2018 09:23

@laburna I don’t have any and I’m not going to buy any as my best friend said the same thing!

itslilsebastian · 22/11/2018 09:37

Is anyone having white bits floating in the wee?? Like little specks of something?? I'm panicking!

Laburna · 22/11/2018 09:44

@itslilsebastian grim as it is, it's probably just discharge! When is your booking in? The MW will take a wee sample and check it then. But I'd say not to worry unless things get itchy/smelly!

DartmoorDoughnut · 22/11/2018 09:49

@Laburna I needed to read that as a digi just gave me 1-2 and by dates I’m 5 weeks so should be 2-3 or 3+!

TwittleBee · 22/11/2018 09:52

We are certainly at the tantrum stage too Laburna DS is nearly 18 months. It's painful as we really need our sleep right now!

Tried to have sex last night actually ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts was worse sex we have ever had. I was in so much pain?

OP posts:
ForTheLoveOfDoughnuts · 22/11/2018 10:02

@TwittleBee really? That's odd. It's not been painful for me. But we've not been doing it a huge amount as I feel so sick most of the time.
