I’m wearing my other H&M jeans today (the first pair I bought) and they fit ok actually. The black ones are obviously a different fit but maybe I will need to move on to unde bump ones as bump grows. I do like the over bump ones though (when they fit) as they feel quite snug and keep my bump warm 😄

Notquiteagandt · 30/11/2018 14:57

So I had my growth scan today. I am still in shock. At her last one she was measuring just over the 5th but below the 10th percentile.

Well today....she is measuring 90th percentile from the scan..!!!

I dont think I have ever been so shocked 😂

They also said my fluid levels are low. Which is why my fundal measurements have been smaller too.

They think could be linked to my HG though. So happy to just monitor it for now and not interfear.

Has anyone else got low amniotic fluid levels?

Lulabell1 · 30/11/2018 15:06

Okay so is anyone else getting this...I keep getting light shooting pains randomly in my lady bits? Randomly through the day all week now its not painful just a bit uncomfortable?

Yakadee · 30/11/2018 15:27

@Lulabell1 - look up lightening crotch x

NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking · 30/11/2018 15:34

@lulabell1 - otherwise known as fanny daggers..

Yakadee · 30/11/2018 15:58

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking - I've heard that too 😂😂

Surprisedmom · 30/11/2018 16:32

@Lulabell1 I’ve heard it as vagina lightening, i’ve had it ocassionally and it would seem it’s pretty common from some of the threads i’ve seen on it.

Lulabell1 · 30/11/2018 19:46

@yakadee @notquiet I swear thats exactly how it feels lightning/daggers!! All week ha!

Yakadee · 30/11/2018 20:17

@Lulabell1 Oh yes! I remember it very well from my first! X

sickmumma · 30/11/2018 21:00

Yep fanny daggers completely normal! Had it with my other three thankfully not at that stage yet with this one! Currently at the As soon as I stand up feel like I need a wee feeling but don't actually need a wee! This baby must be very low down!!

Yakadee · 30/11/2018 21:02

I've been achy - like feel like my bits are separating ha. Not sure afar that's called but remember that from last time too, think it's something to do with bones softening or something.

Pregnancy sure is glam x

AliceRR · 30/11/2018 21:06

I just feel emotional and hormonal and irritable at the moment and keep arguing with DH! To be fair he starts it half the time but I’m definitely low in patience.

Lookingforadvice123 · 30/11/2018 21:07

Anyone else have burning rib pain? I had it horrendously in my last pregnancy from around 30 weeks and it's already started this time, only on the other side (left side this time). Never got to the bottom of what it was last time, assuming muscles stretching but it's absolute agonly.

emalady · 30/11/2018 21:18

@suprisedmom at first I thought you were talking about vaginal lightening like anal bleaching and could not work out why anyone would want that!!🤦‍♀️😂🤣

Surprisedmom · 30/11/2018 21:42

@emalady 😂😂😂😂😂 that’s the funniest thing I’ve heard in ages!

Camsie30 · 30/11/2018 21:45

@Lookingforadvice123 I'm getting rib pain that progresses through the day, to the point where it's really horrible by the evening. Trying to do some Pilates stretching and sitting on my ball/in front of the ball to ease it

AliceRR · 30/11/2018 22:18

Any of you with PGP what are you doing for exercise (if anything) other than yoga and pilates? Previous MW said to do everything but I really do feel the aches and pains the next day if I’ve just walked a lot or beennon my feet doing more than a little bit of housework the day before. I used to go to the gym but don’t feel I could do that without causing more pain for myself. What MW said didn’t seem right. I might ask the new MW whom I’m seeing this week (they have moved on rotation) and she seems a bit better.

People tell me it’s good to do some exercise though so not sure what the balance is.

powkin · 30/11/2018 22:48

Those with rib pain do you feel it at the back? That’s where I have it, awful localised dull but intense and highly upsetting pain. It’s really grinding me down. My ribs feel so sore if I try to rub them :(

detachablehoof · 30/11/2018 23:30

I was really sick til 20 wks, now 30+4 and feeling really nauseous again 😭 anyone else found that?

Rowse · 01/12/2018 04:30

@AliceRR I'd ask for a physio referral from your midwife. The physio told me not to do any exercise, in her words- I'm going to tell you to do the opposite of what a physio usually says for pain and stop exercising. I told her I did Pilates but the teacher adapts movements for my pgp and the physio told me to stop Pilates if it's causing pain- luckily it isn't as I really don't like the idea of doing nothing at all.

Lookingforadvice123 · 01/12/2018 07:43

powkin mine is at the front, it's a burning pain rather than dull but it's localised like you say yours is, and the area is so sore to touch. It's horrible, I was in tears over it in my last pregnancy and ended up working reduced hours at work as being sat in one position made it worse. I've got two weeks off for Christmas in two weeks time, then I've only got four weeks left after Christmas, so I'm hoping I'll be able to push through until 37 weeks.

Yakadee · 01/12/2018 08:26

@emalady - hilarious!

It's all getting very real with all these aches and pains!! X

babyp160 · 01/12/2018 09:08

I have a physio referral but apparently they don't do one to one around here (Essex) so it's a group session as pgp and rib pain are so common.

Notquiteagandt · 01/12/2018 09:09

@detachablehoof I havent stopped being sick yet thanks to HG. But I have noticed it has got worse last few weeks again due to the baby being bigger and my stomach being squished more. Feeling baby being really active is deffo a trigger. Horrible as I feel saying it.

Hope it passes for you Flowers

MrsY87 · 01/12/2018 09:11

@babyp160 in my area it's a group session too however when I called them and said I couldn't make the group session they offered me a one to one, might be worth a try!
