Now that's all out of the way in the thread title we've all got to head down the "things can and will only get better now" ok?? All ailments stop and nothing but good things will befall us all.

Right.

I'm soooooo crap at doing stuff. I've just eaten a huge bowl of icecream coz I needed a suagr fix and now I feel really guilty.

I was supposed to go shopping today - but tried to do the heavy stuff online, only to find sainsburys don't do orders less than £25, and I can't get my 17p fizzy water on line.hmmmmmmmm. Not happy. mght shop tomorrow instead. being good now and doing ironing. Well actually I'm on mumsnet, but thta was only while I came up to put a shirt away.

We will have to start an August Birth Announcements thread on 30 July just in case!

growingbagpuss · 10/07/2007 15:52

30th July???? I've told Evie any time after the 14th!!!

Mrsshuvel · 10/07/2007 15:57

Don't worry about the ice cream Growing.

I am a Tescos Finest fudgie yoghurt with fudgie bits in it aholic. I've had 10 since sunday! Its just dawned on me why i'm such a Hipbra now!!!!

Mrsshuvel · 10/07/2007 15:57

30th July - OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Babylovesmuffins · 10/07/2007 16:01

Just back from 34-wk appointment. LO head down so has turned a bit from transverse position last week M/W said LO could still turn back again though... fingers crossed not. My glucose levels are normal again!! Yippee!! Can eat chocolate and ice-cream without feeling guilty!! I think they were just higher the last time as I'd eaten before the blood test (well I wasn't told not to - didn't even know they were going to do blood tests at that appointment!)

Still trying to catch up on all the posts. There are a lot of us aren't there?? So where's everyone else??!!

Babylovesmuffins · 10/07/2007 16:11

Yes we can't have any August MN's going over to the July thread and deserting us. Remember where your loyalties lie ladies...

Mrsshuvel · 10/07/2007 16:20

Just think though we might have a few more members if any of the July babies decide to be late.

Finally managed to upload some photos, they're a bit old now. Will have to take some more up to date ones.

Babylovesmuffins · 10/07/2007 16:36

Yes you're right MrsS, there might be some born "on the cusp" so to speak!! That's a beautiful dress - nothing like a nan's dressing-up box dress!! You look fab!

DH keeps threatening to take pictures of "the bump" - I think it might be quite nice to look back on actually...

growingbagpuss · 10/07/2007 16:37

I have destroyed all barr a couple of pictures of me during either pregnancy.

I just don't like it on me.

grump grump grump grump.

did half the ironing.

considering waddling the 1/2 mile to DS's nursery for a change. ...

Mrsshuvel · 10/07/2007 16:38

My DP did that - thats how i discovered the stretchmarks under the bump!

tokentotty · 10/07/2007 16:50

Helloooo all !! Just been out at lunch with a friend of mine which was lovely - well, until we started talking about her FOUR children which made me gulp a bit. Only joking, am an aunty to them all as have been around since the eldest (15 this month) was less than one and love 'em.
Nice pics MrsS!! I really like both those dresses.

On to Bluewater RL meet up. I can do Weds and Thurs next week so whatever suits most. I think the 18th was the preferred date by some ?? Where do we all meet ?? Will have to be somewhere spacious I should think.... Actually, how about the John Lewis toilets seeing as I'll be wanting to spend most of my time going to the loo it seems as good a place as any!

New thread titles eh....gimme a few minutes on that one (TT looks for 'pondering' emoticon)

Talking of pictures of bumps - I have a couple as everytime I ask DH to rub cocoa butter into mine he draws something stoopid first and takes a picture as it makes him laugh....

OP posts:
tokentotty · 10/07/2007 16:58

And for some reason I've popped one on my profile to share with you all...

Just really scared myself. Was standing chatting to the receptionist when i started getting really bad shooting pains going across my belly sort of in the middle but shooting from the left to the right. She went white as a sheet too and sat me down. It lasted about 10 mins. All ok now i think. Anyone have any experience of this sort of thing?

Babylovesmuffins · 10/07/2007 17:01

Hmmmmm... Maybe photo of the bump not such a good idea then! I'm blissfully unaware of any stretchmarks so far... probably shouldn't go looking for them!!!

tokentotty · 10/07/2007 17:03

How have you felt since MrsS ??

Quick question - anyone got that linea Negra thingy ?

OP posts:
tokentotty · 10/07/2007 17:06

new thread title?

OP posts:
Mrsshuvel · 10/07/2007 17:06

Ok now thanks TT. MiniS punching me now so know he's fine.

What's the linea thingy?

tokentotty · 10/07/2007 17:07

Still, sounds very much like hometime for you love....

OP posts:
kiteflying · 10/07/2007 17:09

Is it meant to be inspirational?

kiteflying · 10/07/2007 17:10

the thread title that is...not the linea negra

tokentotty · 10/07/2007 17:11

Not really. More factual than anything
