Wee metcloploride is very effective for some. Are you taking it as well as cyclizine? It works by emptying the stomach quickly so for me didn’t work as I feel less sick when my stomach has food in. If it doesn’t work there’s another type of drug in the same safety category as metclopoloride which is prochlorperazine which can also be taken alongside cyclizine. I know what you mean about not even thinking about how you’ll cope it it lasts much longer, I’ve just been signed off until the Christmas holidays and I’m 9 weeks atm.

Hey! I’m new to this site/thread.
I’m due June 15th 2019 and had a scan today I thought I was 13 weeks (Midwife thought this actually) but I’m 10+5 weeks and have to have another scan in 2 weeks time!
All is healthy with the baby though!
Does anyway have any scan pictures yet? I’m so eager to know what the gender of my baby is! I keep looking at scull and nub theories!

Welcome Rose. If you look back a bit there are a few scan photos trickling through but I think we will have a lot more over the next few weeks! I was going to send my scan to the nub techs but I don’t think we got the right angle. My partner doesn’t want to know the gender until birth so think I won’t find out either as I will let it slip. I thought I might be able to get an idea from the nub theory at least! Maybe I’ll send my images just incase.

I’ve just joined Which to have a look at baby related reviews in case any good Black Friday deals come up. Although I’m not sure if it’s too early to be buying things, but there can be such good deals!

@stellarfox I'm not even ashamed to say this..... but I bought the chicco next to me today because it's down from £190 to £110 on Amazon.

I'm eyeing up a sleepyhead too but don't want to get carried away! I'm only 13 weeks..

Damn these Black Friday deals - they always come at the wrong time for me! Saying that I am eyeing up maternity clothes at Debenhams as they've got some deals on there.

Erm...does anyone else have a suddenly crazily increased libido? Mine's gone off the scale! I remember it doing this last time but not as early. DH doesn't know what's hit him!

Oh god no, I couldn't think of anything worse right now and I'm usually quite up for it..

Black Friday deals are so tempting!
I’m just over 11 weeks and still in normal clothing so I’m holding off maternity wear for a little while!
Libido .... 🤣 I’m too tired! I’d rather an early night🙈 I was the same with my first pregnancy.
I’m always up for it but being pregnant my libido decreases!

Oh god @Fabuluce any imagine anything I want to do less than shagging!!! Poor DP, was like this last time and hadn't really recovered libido before I got pregnant - I don't think we've even done it once since getting the BFP 😮

Haha I'm trying to do it weekly but it really is an effort 😂
I feel bad as I was so keen before when we were trying!!!

I'm quite grateful for it to be honest - IVF and TTC for years totally screwed my libido and since having DS my libido has been at zero so knowing I still have some rampant feelings is very good news! Thankfully because we're both tired all the time we go to bed ridiculously early so I have plenty of time for rampant shagging AND sleeping. That said I was awake from 4 this morning desperate for a shag which is not what I would term as ideal.

@Torsz I thought my libido has genuinely been revived (at long last!!) when TTC but turns out - as DP suspected - it was just because I wanted to get pregnant!!!

I was reading out the 13 week update on Ovia this morning and it said my sex drive will increase - my husband actually cheered 😂

@toomanyflatwhites ha!! I was uber keen but mainly near the ovulation window 🤣

I had a pretty fierce libido when pg with #1 but not with #2 and I’m getting into the 14th week of nothing.

I’m so so tired, I keep thinking “I’ll make the effort tonight” and I’m just all outta gas.

I know it’s daft but it does concern me a wee bit, when TTC the more we banged the more I was up for it, not anymore.

Poor DH probably just feels like a stud greyhound or something

My libido has completely disappeared. Was the same with dd throughout. Poor dh!

Welcome rose, I’ve got a scan tomorrow and time is going so slowly I’m dreading them dating me earlier than I’m putting myself.

What is this nub theory? How does it work?

Is anyone having really weird things they can eat with food aversions? I’m literally off almost everything but the past few days I can’t get enough butternut squash and chestnuts and right now I really really fancy tofu. Bizarre. I mean, who craves tofu?!

@Reastie yeah I'm off everything but last night I sat with a whole block of Edam cheese and ate most of it!

Re libido - we try to do it once a week, but it can be hard due to tiredness and nausea. And sore boobs.

Glad I'm not the only one not 'in the mood!' It's been weeks for me and DP. Each day I think, okay I'll try and make the effort tonight but then the nausea hits at 5pm and I'm asleep by 9 😂

I'm going to tell DP we need to move to a morning schedule for a while if I'm getting sick in the evenings!

So I'm goin out for dinner tonight.. can't wait 🙄..
I'm so exhausted and the table isn't booked til 8 😭 anyhoo..
What do I wear, jeans I have to open my top button before a bloody meal, leggings not really appropriate, don't know if Iv got a floaty dress or do u go more fitted and embrace my lil nearly 11 week bump, all at the table will know we r expecting, to anyone else it'll look like food baby..

Ok you might laugh at me for doing this but I don’t think we will be finding out the gender soo I sent my scan photos through to the nub techs... It may be a whole load of rubbish but they do the nub theory thing and guess the gender. This is my result! It’s quite cool how they annotate it and they provided some explanation but I won’t until June if they are right!

Not very interested in sex either at the moment!

Wow stellar that's amazing! How many weeks were you at your scan?

@toasterstrudle this was from yesterday’s scan and they dated me at 12+2! They said the bladder is normally quite high up for most girls so they seem to look at a few things! Not that I’m relying on this as will probably end up with a boy now 😄

Finding today tough, my last pregnancy ended at 12+2 and i found out at the scan a few days later, having previously seen a seemingly healthy baby at 11weeks. I’m 12+2 today and my mind is in overdrive.
No enegry, still feeling sick and emotional and wondering if things have gone wrong again... today has floored me a bit, much worse than my mmc due date which passed without too much difficulty!! My scan is next week at 13 weeks.
Sorry for the whinge... dont feel like talking to anyone and putting it down here has helped!

Oh ithinkthatsenough, I do feel for you. I found out about my miscarriage at the 12 week scan last time too and it was just awful to get so far. The next few days will be tough, you just need to tick them off, get through the scan and then I'm sure you'll feel much more relaxed. Mine is on 7th December and I'm honestly dreading it, but equally can't wait for it to be done and then at least we'll know one way or another. Trying to remember the statistics are in our favour and going by the mantra of 'today, I am pregnant'. Sending love to you.

Hi ladies. Just back home after an overnight stay in hospital after being admitted for dehydration. Feeling better. The tablets they've given me are known to cause terrible constipation. I'm already at 4 days some having a poo . Please hit me with your constipation busters!
