Fingers crossed @Firstbornunicorn! I hope it's my turn to feel better soon.

@MrsReader That's a shame. I didn't think my pills were working as I was still feeling sick. Decided to stop taking them and quickly realised they were working- just not as well as I'd like!

MrsReader · 06/11/2018 23:21

@inkworks273 it's rubbish isn't it 😢 hope you feel better soon

dreaminofholidays · 07/11/2018 10:41

Morning all

Sorry to hear everyone is feeling so sick. I'm 12+5 today and wondered if anyone else had found themselves feeling much worse lately?
Last night I had to pull over to throw up on the way home and just went straight to bed at about 730pm.
I'm not on tablets or anything so I know I'm not suffering as much as so many of you are just a bit puzzled that it's getting worse rather than better

xxx

inkworks273 · 07/11/2018 11:08

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and I'd definitely say I'm feeling worse. Lost my breakfast this morning. Think it was the apple juice that did it.

The thought of having to deal with this for weeks to come is really getting me down.

zoClueless · 07/11/2018 11:34

Sorry to hear that some are still really struggling with sickness. It put my return of hunger based nausea into perspective a bit. I've found that things have got worse recently (15 weeks today) after a few weeks of feeling quite good so definitely think it's as @Beckyv88 said, when I mentioned recently feeling crap, it all just come in waves even after the main bulk is over. Fingers crossed the worst parts are short lived!
I hope that it eases up soon for those who are really suffering.

fadgadget · 07/11/2018 12:23

My midwife told me that 11-12 weeks is a peak in hormones, which could explain it.

purplestar9 · 07/11/2018 13:17

I came home for an early lunch today (I normally stay at work) because I felt awful. I still can't shift this cold, which is now starting to cause nose bleeds, and I started feeling sick and really hot! I've since been to the loo (sorry!), and had some soup and toast and I seem to be feeling a bit better.
I admit, I'm counting myself lucky to not be feeling like some of you do, and I'm so sorry for any of you still suffering. But I thought I'd share my day with you so far!
How's everyone else doing today? 💜

@inkworks273 sorry to hear you’re feeling so bad. If it helps I had an awful week with nausea and sickness but it faded and now is quite mild. There’s light at the end of the tunnel! How long have you been feeling that way?

inkworks273 · 07/11/2018 18:01

Thanks @Beckyv88. I've been like this for 6 weeks now.

bumblebee39 · 07/11/2018 18:20

May 22nd now apparently

Not got my scan yet was hoping they'd do it at booking in but got to wait X

Beckyv88 · 07/11/2018 18:40

@inkworks273 oh man that sucks. I hope it fades soon. They do say it usually calms in 2nd trimester.

Potatoesplease · 07/11/2018 21:13

Hi. I'm late to the party, but I am PotatoesPlease, 12+6, expecting DC3.
My sickness has also suddenly got worse this week, which I see a few people are suffering with.
My scan is on Friday. I have already had an early scan at 10 weeks, so not too worried.

earlybirdhasanap · 08/11/2018 08:09

@fadgadget I think that must be right because week 11-12 was by far the worst for me and now at 13 weeks I'm just feeling intermittently sick and dizzy but nothing like before.

purplestar9 · 08/11/2018 13:23

Welcome @Potatoesplease how are you feeling? Good to have you on board! Good luck for your scan tomorrow!

OP posts:
purplestar9 · 08/11/2018 13:25

@bumblebee39 I thought the same thing and it felt like ages that I was waiting for my scan appointment. I phoned the hospital in the end and they told me my appointment date and then I received the letter a few days later! I hope you get your appointment soon. How far on are you?

Potatoesplease · 08/11/2018 16:38

@purplestar9 Thank you. I am feeling better today thanks. Only been sick once.

Lorrie3 · 08/11/2018 19:37

Just checking in I lost the thread when it changed over!

Amolly · 09/11/2018 01:36

Any one know how long the blood results take to come back after 12 week scan ?

Sorry for those of you that are still feeling rubbish and hope it all passes soon for you. I'm not feeling sick anymore but I still can't eat much variety of food. Very small plates of very bland food. Managed my first sausage roll in months :) little victories

MrsReader · 09/11/2018 04:30

Mine took 2 weeks by letter @Amolly , I was told if it was bad news it would be a phone call within a week

FrazzyAndFrumpled · 09/11/2018 07:02

Amolly I had my letter within a few days Smile

How is everyone feeling?

MissSmith80 · 09/11/2018 07:02

@Amolly I was told a phone call within 3 days if a high ratio and then a letter in about a week. It might depend a bit on your Trust. I had mine last Thursday, not had the letter yet, hoping it arrives soon. I know no news is good news but I'd like to see it in black and white! x

bumblebee39 · 09/11/2018 07:37

@purplestar9 about 12 weeks so frustrated now, going to be a late scan but I'm told it's been put in for (finally)

Rubberduckies · 09/11/2018 08:01

Sorry everyone feels crap. I agree, I definitely feel worse at this 11-12 week stage. Someone at work commented that I looked miserable yesterday and asked if I was ok....

lemoncake oooh we're scan buddies lol! Mines the 19th. Doesn't it seem ages away when realistically you know it's really not....?

lifechanginglemoncake · 09/11/2018 08:29

@Rubberduckies it does feel like ages away! Time has slowed down even more now I have the date!

I thought it might be next week so was disappointed it wasn't. Then DH couldn't make the original date and they offered me 22nd and I had a massive crying meltdown that I couldn't wait that long and DH had to move something at work so we could do 19th!

Hoping after the weekend with only one working week to go time will start to behave more normally again!

bumblebee39 · 09/11/2018 12:49

They took my weight this week but surely that won't be my starting BMI?
I've put on 8lbs but it's was in the healthy range before now 26 will they want me to do the gestational diabetes check?

Seems like a waste of time when I'm normally slim and well just put on some boobs and bump!
