Just in case we get locked out without realising!

SHIT. DH just got home and went into the kitchen where he turned off the gas hob I had left running for the last half hour

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:26

Shit, ever got the feeling you've not thought something through??!

We'll be fine. Kids will be late or left behind! Am sure it will come good, lots of people have offered to help and lots of families around here have au pairs who will help out for a small charge!

Hey, I've just done tea-time without screaming! That's quite an achievement for me!!

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:27

oops! Annobal!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:28

Evening everyone!

Sorry your dh is still poorly sputnik, but glad baby sputnik is ok!

I don't envy you foxy and annobal having to leave the house to do school runs with a new baby! I am quite glad I'm going to be able to stay indoors in my pjs for a good few days!

If anyone else phones to see if I've had the baby yet I'm going to cry, scream and stamp my feet! WHy don't people realise I will let them know when he is born. I'm not going to keep news like that to myself!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:30

Oh dear annobal! Pg brain working overtime? I left the oven on a few weeks ago and the gas wasn't even lit! Could have been very interesting!

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:38

Trying not to think about gassing myself and family...

Holly, I know what you mean re the staying in-doors in pjs! I am so sick of everyone I see saying 'are you still here'? I also got a particularly nasty horror birth story this morning - some people just don't think!

Well done Foxy. That cooking sherry is doing some good then

trendaverter · 22/06/2007 18:39

Hello Lovely Ladies,
Not caught up yet, just got home from hosp, phew! Nightmare labour. Will bore you all with it later when I have had some sleep and something decent and hot to eat!
Baby Sullivan very easy, doesn't make a peep, and is of course gorgeous (well obviously )
Congratulations Pingu!

I am exhausted. I hope you are all well and I will check back soon and post proper birth announcement! xxx

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:41

Hurrah - well done TA. Good to have you back home! Congratulations and looking forward to the gory details

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:42

Yay! Welcome back TA! Can't wait to hear all about it.

Am glad you are home and Sullivan is doing well. Love his name BTW.

xx

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:45

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:48

Hey TA!! You are bloody brilliant! Well done and congrats to you and dh! Welcome to the world baby sullivan! Looking forward to hearing the full story and seeing some yummy pics xxx

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:48

LOL Foxy. May have to take myself out for a walk and get me some nice rose wine (and I may as well get some ice cream while I'm there, it would be rude not to)

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:49

Talking of booze, it must be time for a glass of wine surely!

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:49

Great minds think alike annobal!

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:49

My, Holly, you've left it quite late today

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:53

LOL!

am going to ring DP for some snickers ice creams and put beer in fridge. We are having Chinese TA. We had Fish and Chips last night.

It will probably be a curry tomorrow.

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 18:55

I know annobal, it's after dinner and everything !

Is it MaccyD's the day after foxy?! Or maybe a kebab!

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:57

LOL Foxy - we had pizza Wed night, take-away fritatta last night and are just getting out the brochures to see what we could have tonight

daisyboo · 22/06/2007 18:58

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:59

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 18:59

macd's isn't a proper dinner Holly.

justbeme · 22/06/2007 18:59

Have you lot started on the wine already??!

Welcome home TA!!! Look forward to all the details.

Yes Foxy, I am panicing now!! ( I suppose its like pre wedding nerves )

annobal · 22/06/2007 18:59

foxybrown · 22/06/2007 19:00

hollyandalice · 22/06/2007 19:02
