Morning! TA! This is the 1st day I really cant sleep and Im up with a cuppa and slice of toast.
Hows sunny Reading today ?

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:08

Hello JBM!
How are you?
Sunny Reading is fine, I am being proactive and foing laundry at 5am this morning. Can't sleep. Woke up needing a wee and couldn't get back to sleep! What are you doing up?

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:09

foing?! Doing, even

justbeme · 20/06/2007 06:09

Have tossed and turned, had 2 randy pigeons outside on the garage roof and decided enough was enough!!

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:11

Randy pigeons! lucky you! I just have the locals

justbeme · 20/06/2007 06:14

LOL! You have a sense of humour even at this time of the morning!!
I LURVVVVEE my bed, so this is VERY unusual for me and Im not the best 1st thing.
mmmm maybe 1 slice of tiger bread wasnt enough!!

What times the hospital today? Ive got MW at 4.45 - so will get her to check to see if I have a urine infection as still "dragging" .

What time will you DP be up? what does he do again?

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:22

DH just got up. He looks groggy and wants to know if my pains are 'real' or not. farked if I know, I am waiting til I crown before I get excited.
He's gone to make me some toast and tea, bless.
Hosp appointment is at 9am. I am debating whether or not to tell think I think my waters have broken. If I tell them they will want to induce me today, I don't really want to be induced today.

What do you mean 'dragging'?

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:23

Oh and he works in IT, he's a nerd

justbeme · 20/06/2007 06:25

Oh you ought to tell them re wetness - you want to make sure LO is Ok. I must say I think your very good - i wouldve given up with all this waiting!!

Dragging - dull ache in fanjo, esp when walk/turn in bed etc.

Say Hi to you DP!! Mines still asleep with the dog!! (I wanted to get the dog off the bed b4 LO arrived - but he's too much of a softy and they curl up together!!

justbeme · 20/06/2007 06:26

Oh dont be horrible - he doesnt look like a nerd on yr profile!! - ( is his head getting bigger?)

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:38

oh pah re wetness, I am over all these signs and symptoms

I want to sleep with the dog but DH won't let me. I think he knows it's because he will be excluded in favour of the dog.

Dull ache? Not sure what that would be, any other things like itchyness or anything?

DH is a nerd, he is proud of his nerd status. He subscribes to 'Focus' FFS

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 06:51

Fark
These pains I am getting, some of them are pretty intense.
Sadly though, they are not in the least regular, in timings or strength, so I suspect just more BHs

justbeme · 20/06/2007 06:55

You should have hired a TENS machine - you'd have got your monies worth out of it!! I suspect i wont even use mine!

I just asked my Dp how he and his mate would get home today if I went into labour (he's a painter/decorator) - 'cos they share a van and are working out in the country - my Dp said he's alright jack, but his mate would have to find his own way home!! Charming!

lulumama · 20/06/2007 07:16

are the pains low down, sort of sharp. or all across your bump? Any going into your back /bump? how long they lasting?

justbeme · 20/06/2007 07:21

Morning LulaMama!
looks like TA has gone off for a wee while....
Can i ask sommething? Im feeling pretty nauseous and have had a major evacuation this morning!! (tmi) - could that be the start of anything? or maybe just a dodgey dinner last night??!

justbeme · 20/06/2007 07:34

ohhh im all alone!! I think i'll go back to bed for a wee bit - Hope your ok TA!

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 07:42

I'm fine!
Just went for a shower, which seems to have killed all pains. Looks like another bloody false alarm. So tired of all these stop-starts
Lulumama - if you are still around they started in my back then went to the top of my belly then lower down. They were lasting 40-60 seconds long but were not really very regular. However, they did cause me to catch my breath a few times!

Still all action suspended. I am off for more monitoring soon though so will see what happens.

This is the longest pregnancy ever I think

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 07:48

JBM - your poo means nothing, there is a big queue of women before you. Be patient

mumof4aceboys · 20/06/2007 08:12

Hi ladies - the race is on then?!!

I usually get the shits B4 things start.

Contractions do usually start accross the top of the bump for some women - not all though. As they get more intense they are all over etc.

Not had chance to read all posts. Has anyone had any more shows - still got wet pants any1?

Im sooooo excited coz its not me!!

trendaverter · 20/06/2007 08:24

I have had the shits for a week. It means nothing! Maybe it means you girls have been eating too many mangoes in an attempt to get things moving!

Yep, plenty of wet knicker action, but no pains any more.

Off to the hospital in a mo to have the usual checks done. Might tell them I have wet knickers. Of course they might think it's TMI and send me on my way like some pervert

mumof4aceboys · 20/06/2007 08:40

TA - I really feel for you. I think you are being really strong. I would have surrendered long ago! Hope hospital appt. goes well

bumperlicious · 20/06/2007 08:56

OK, so I have definitely had a show today, pinky coloured stuff. I know this doesn't mean anything, but I am feeling all shakey and nauseous and chilly, and have period type pains not sure if these are signs or just purely psychological reactions to the fact that I am SHIT SCARED of what is going to happen very soon. It's just taken me 5 attempts to type psychological and I have a frickin' master's degree in it!

Ohgodohgod - I'm not excited anymore
