So sorry to hear your sad news @Azure83. Hope you can put your feet up and take it easy. Good luck for the future sweetheart. Flowers

Kescilly · 29/10/2018 20:02

I’m so sorry Azure83. Please take care of yourself and best wishes for the future.

toomanyflatwhites · 29/10/2018 20:04

So sorry @Azure83.

And @coastergirl having gone trough something like that many years ago (but I DID lose my job) I can only imagine what state you must have been in - you poor poor thing! No wonder you want a bloody drink - but how utterly brilliant and fantastic that it's all hopefully behind you now!

MadeInCornwallx3 · 29/10/2018 20:05

So sorry @Azure83 - I hope that you can take some time and care of yourself with people around you.

coastergirl · 29/10/2018 20:08

@toomanyflatwhites I went through it a few years ago too and also lost my job. It broke me, and going through it again was awful. I'm so relieved it's over. Resisted the wine too!

JBCG · 29/10/2018 21:15

Skee · 30/10/2018 03:36

So sorry to hear this Azure83, very much love x x

Skee · 30/10/2018 03:41

@toomanyflatwhites you’ve described my symptoms perfectly! Feel a bit yucky, but really suffered with nausea last time. My boobs were really sore last time too, but nothing now - I wonder if this means they’ve already stretched out after last pregnancy? 😂

I’m also off tea, normally drink about 3 or 4 cups a day... but I’ve discovered Lift lemon tea, so good!

Still suffering with Pregsomnia though 😴

That’s sounds tough coastergirl, hope you’re ok x x

LivingOnAPear · 30/10/2018 04:09

I’m so sorry @Azure83 take care of yourself Flowers

LivingOnAPear · 30/10/2018 04:12

@coastergirl that sounds like a complete nightmare. At least it’s over now, must feel like a weight off your shoulders.

Torsz · 30/10/2018 05:01

I'm really sorry @Azure83 - please look after yourself.

@Skee I'm really similar - boobs were sore for ages but now they're a little sensitive, think they've stopped growing now. And I normally love tea so bought decaf as I thought I couldn't cope without it. Had 2 cups when I got it and thought it was delicious, then tried it the next day and realised I didn't want tea anymore - haven't had it in weeks!

Skee · 30/10/2018 06:33

@Torsz - I bought a box of decaf tea when I was pregnant with DS1 in 2016... it’s still in the cupboard 😂 I should probably chuck them now... 🤔

toasterstrudle · 30/10/2018 06:42

@Azure83 I'm so sorry to hear your news Thanks

toasterstrudle · 30/10/2018 06:48

@coastergirl that sounds so stressful, I bet you're glad it's all over now.

@JBCG good luck today Thanks

I'm 7 weeks today (all being well) and a bit nauseous but nothing like I've had in the past. Telling myself every pregnancy is different and hoping for the best. I've got my first scan next Friday (9th) and I'm honestly counting down the hours, let alone the days! Just want to know if everything is cooking as it should be 🙏🏼 I'd forgotten how all-consuming pregnancy worry can be!

Napssavelives · 30/10/2018 07:11

Those who booked private early scans were they internal? The place near me only does them from 8 weeks and are external . Made be wonder whether they do private internal scans ? I know when my other DC in EPU they were all internal. Keen to book but worried about getting inconclusive results and causing more worry

Kescilly · 30/10/2018 07:16

I was all worried about having to do an internal scan at the private place where I had booked. As soon as she started scanning she said it was really clear and she wouldn’t need to do an internal one. I was something like 8+5 according to her measurements.

annihall · 30/10/2018 07:45

@Napssavelives my early scan was external at 6+4

JBCG · 30/10/2018 07:49

Thank you @toasterstrudle! Blood test today but won't get the results / plan of action until tomorrow unfortunately. So desperate to just know - this waiting and worrying is horrible 😔

toasterstrudle · 30/10/2018 07:57

I know exactly how you feel @JBCG , it's the most gut wrenching time. I found lots of support in the miscarriage boards and ttc after loss boards too, if it comes to that. Crossing everything for the best possible outcome for you x

toasterstrudle · 30/10/2018 07:58

Also how rotten to not get results until tomorrow, the waiting is just rubbish. Try and plan as many distractions as possible.

curlypasta · 30/10/2018 08:02

Rang to make my booking in appointment (I’m 6+5 today so wanted week commencing 5th Nov) only to be told there’s no appointment until 28th Nov ShockShock now I know this is my third and I’m very chilled but if it wasn’t I’d be terrified! I told the receptionist to book my 12 week scan for me now so that doesn’t get delayed, to which she replied -ooo good idea! Confused
Then she said I could book in at the hospital and have my care from there. So I won’t see the same midwife twice Sad bloody hell!

Pigriver · 30/10/2018 08:38

Same here @curlypasta I thought 'oh I'll be chilled out this time and won't ring the midwife the minute I get a positive' and managed to wait a while week!
Only to be told they are really busy and I won't be able to have an appointment until I'm 9.5 weeks rather than 7-8 weeks!
She did say they finally have their midwives sorted and have a regular one who should do all of my appointments which fingers crossed will be better than last time.

This pregnancy feels very different to the last. No real nausea really just tired and sore boobs. I'm telling myself that must mean I'm having a girl this time!

Love to all those going through a tough time and waiting for results etc xx
