Nah, you're just helping those of us out who are GIVING life.

littleoldme · 24/06/2007 22:18

Busy scan day tomorrow -
Jet, SGC and GIP - I've got everything crossed for you.

easywriter · 24/06/2007 22:45

Good luck with the scans Geek, Sparkly and Jet.

I heard that MW's don't tend to do episiotomies at home too much because in all instances except tears from vagina to anus (I know!!!) you're more likely to heal quicker if you tear naturally than are cut. Episiotomies, still can't really bear the thought.

Choudru - so weird that you're business is henna tatoos, this weekend I did something I've wanted to do for ages and had a henna tatoo on my hand at my daughters school fair. (I can't stop looking at my hand now). Sorry, just needed to share that. It'd be ace to get your pregnant tum done! I hope the business goes well.

I've just returned home from a very wet time at Goodwood!! (I love DP very much!) I still have no idea why I go, for me cars come in colours.

RGPargy · 24/06/2007 22:48

The stitches from the episiotomy hurt much more than giving birth and i found it hard to walk more than a snail's pace too. Hoping i wont have to go through that again!!

MrsJetson · 24/06/2007 22:53

Hi all - had to let you know about the scan!! We're definitely having a little girl. Everything absolutely normal, perfect etc - the words from the Consultant.

Looks like we will have the keys within a couple of weeks to the new house - couldn't come any sooner. Staying with my mother - DH flew back home for 2 weeks this morning! This is like being back in my teens - bloody horrible.

Kids are loving being back here - especially being able to walk to the park and 'smelling fresh air'. I'm enjoying wandering up and down Waitrose aisles!!!

Anyway glad to very briefly read your messages, good luck with future scans everyone.

xx

RGPargy · 24/06/2007 22:57

So pleased for you Mrs J!!! Congrats!!

sparklygothkat · 24/06/2007 23:13

I won;t be online tomorrow till after my scan as its at 11:20. I still haven't managed to talk DH into finding out the sex, he is no longer affected by me batting my eyelashes lol

RGPargy · 24/06/2007 23:14

Get them to write it down for you and not to mention it out loud!!

RGPargy · 24/06/2007 23:15

Oh and the best of luck with your scan SGK and everyone else!

sparklygothkat · 24/06/2007 23:19

he thinks that I won't be able to keep my mouth shut and will tell my sisters and then he will be the last to know. I am just going to study the scan closely and see if I can see what it is

Pixiefish · 25/06/2007 07:42

Loopy- I'm oping to manage without an epidural this time. I don't want to be in as long as I was with dd- which I will be the more intervention I have

Pixiefish · 25/06/2007 07:43

back now. I saw baby, it was wiggling about, and moving its arms.Didn't find out the sex Everything seems to be ok..

RGPargy · 25/06/2007 15:07

Glad everything's ok SGK. Funnily enough i had a dream about having a scan last night. I dreamt that i forgot to ask about the sex of the baby and then was chasing the woman round saying "did you see the sex?!" and she replied that she hadn't and i remember panicking because it was the main thing i'd wanted to find out lol.

Still, you'll be in for a surprise, eh?!

Glad your scan went okay Sparkly, mine did too. We didn't want to know the sex and the radiographer had to turn the screen away at one point as she said it was a clear picture. We still have no idea, and the radiographer didn't give away anything. Hey it's only 20 weeks till we get to find out anyway!!! When I've got the chance will upload my fave picture to my profile, the baby waved for the camera, so sweet.

MrsJetson · 25/06/2007 21:12

Hi - OK so I am now back - I can't bear to be in RL right now!!

Pixie - I'm in Shropshire for another fortnight and then in Glos until early Aug. TBH I would rather not be in Shrops at all - but with DH and my Nanny both 3500 miles away it's a little tricky with the little ones and bump on my own! Off to Sea life tomorrow which should be interesting my mother and her bloody DP have decided to come too! Will the rain ever cease so that I can take the kids to outdoor places for them to exhaust themselves????

Sparkly - glad to hear your scan went well - also fab news that DH has agreed to you finding out the sex.

Jetgirl - happy for you to have had a good scan too - do you know the sex - or did I miss that one??

Does anybody else feel like these pregnancies are taking forever? I know it's only halfway but it seems like we've been PG for months!

Anyway here's to our ever expanding waistlines!
