Anyone else?

I have quite long cycles but using OPKs, I have a rough idea of when I ovulated and have just got the faintest of lines. So 30 April or 1 May for me! Eek.

Hi @EspressoPatronum Smile

BeautifulSlang · 11/09/2018 18:51

I'm 17dpo, and have had BFP every day since Friday- not that I'm obsessing much! I've had really sore boobs for about a week, the odd cramp like AF will rear her ugly head and the past 2 days completely no appetite at all. I've also been super tired, but not sure whether this is down to jet lag.

DietCoke1 · 11/09/2018 19:10

Can I tentatively join?
According to LMP I’m due 19th May- This makes me around 4 weeks.

I had a transvaginal scan (or dildo cam as I like to call it) on Saturday for something unrelated- nothing was said! I then found out I was pregnant on the Monday!

Is it normal for them not to see anything at that gestation? Not that we were looking for that!

Completely unplanned pregnancy and baby number one for us.

I’m excited- my partner.... he is coming around to the idea...

No real symptoms yet but super strong BFP this morning.

Mcdonald234 · 11/09/2018 19:49

I am super thirsty too!

Does this line progression seem ok for 10-13 DPO? I can’t help but worry my last one isn’t dark enough and I am obsessing over lines! I don’t think I’ll feel ok until I get a line that’s darker than the control line.

Dimblebimble · 11/09/2018 20:17

Hello @DietCoke1 and congrats :)

@Mcdonald234 that line progression looks good to me, the last one is noticeably darker

SurfingOwl · 11/09/2018 20:38

That’s a good line progression @Mcdonald234

Congratulations @DietCoke1 and as I understand it your hcg needs to be around 1000 (for a singleton pregnancy) before anything can be seen on a scan.

Mcdonald234 · 11/09/2018 20:40

Thank you @dimblebimble @surfingowl this whole process make sure you a bit crazy, doesn’t it? How is everyone feeling?

inkworks273 · 11/09/2018 20:58

I'm feeling a bit better tonight. Cramping seems to have settled. I still get waves of it but it's very mild.

TMI but I keep feeling like I'm wet (down there) but when I check there's nothing there.

I haven't tested since the first two tests I took on Sunday morning. Not sure if I should take another or wait to see if I miss my period.

Teladi · 11/09/2018 21:02

hi! Looks like I am joining this club too, I found out today. Bit of a surprise for me but I am pleased... and shocked.... and pleased... and surprised. I already have one DC who is 7, and looks like this next one will be due around 20 May. Looking forward to keeping up with you all, and hope you're all feeling well.

Starmist · 11/09/2018 21:37

Congratulations & welcome to the newbies Grin

I’ve been really cold too! I’m glad it’s not just me. I’ve worn my proper winter PJs the past few nights but now today I’ve been really warm.

I’m 6 weeks exactly. Tummy still feels quite crampy / uncomfortable. Other than that I feel pretty normal. I did another test this morning as I still can’t quite believe it seeing as DS took 11 months to conceive.

I’ve booked an early scan for when I’ll be 7 + 6. Hoping it will give some reassurance. Feel so worried this time around.

Dimblebimble · 12/09/2018 08:45

Feeling a bit more positive this morning. My period was due today but hasn't shown yet and the line is much darker Smile Still no real symptoms except occasional cramps and restless sleep. How is everyone feeling?

MynameisJune · 12/09/2018 08:57

That’s a good line for an IC, fingers crossed that AF continues to stay away.

EspressoPatronum · 12/09/2018 09:54

@teladi I'm due the day after and also a bit er... Surprised!

I'd forgotten how much of a head fuck the first 12 weeks are. I don't feel sick today and the crampy stretchy feeling is a lot milder so now I'm wondering if it's a chemical. And even though it was a surprise and not the best timing I'll be gutted! Going to buy some more tests I think but try to hold off until next week to take them. I'm not even due my period until tomorrow!

Finding out this early is rubbish, but i get such strong symptoms it's unmistakable even before my period! This is the test I did the day before yesterday, so 3 days before my period was due.

Amolly · 12/09/2018 10:54

@Dimblebimble that looks a good line on one of those tests. Hope af stays away for you.

I'm feeling super crampy today. Af was due yesterday I think. Had af cramps for 3 days now. Stressing me out aha. But I read a good post on another site where it was just lots of ladies that let others know ( and a poll too) that they had the same pains when AF was due and and also a little bleeding but went on to have healthy babies. It's put my mind a little at ease. But I'm an overthinker aha

Taking pregnancy tablets that have everything you need in them so hopefully they will contribute to a sticky bean x

MynameisJune · 12/09/2018 11:16

I had cramping with DD until 8 weeks, it’s generally a normal symptom from what I read last time.

I’m taking pregnacare max which i’ll probably just take until the end of pregnancy as the Omega 3 is good for babies brain development.

Dimblebimble · 12/09/2018 11:22

Have ordered the pregnancies max on amazon, hopefully will be here tomorrow. Still haven't phoned the doctor, is Friday to soon to ring? (I'll be 4weeks+2 days)

Dimblebimble · 12/09/2018 11:23

*pregnacare max

EspressoPatronum · 12/09/2018 11:44

dimblebimble I reckon a bit early yes. The midwife usually sees you between 8 and 10 weeks for your booking in appointment. I think I'm going to ring when I'm 5 or 6 weeks.

MynameisJune · 12/09/2018 12:05

I’m going to ring next Monday when i’ll be 5 +3, if I make it through this week as then I’ll be past the point my last MC happened. I’d say 4 weeks is. A it early but I think.

Amolly · 12/09/2018 12:05

@EspressoPatronum @Dimblebimble I'm going to ring on Friday or Monday I think. I'm currently 4+2

@MynameisJune thankyou for that :) I'm taking boots pregnancy expert care. I took yesterday's late in the evening about 23.00 so I'm going to have to wait til later to take my next one I think

X

DietCoke1 · 12/09/2018 12:25

@Dimblebimble and @EspressoPatronum lines looks good!

4 weeks is maybe a tad early- I have booked an early scan for 6 weeks + and think will go after that if all looks good.

Anyone getting dizzy spells?

ZoeOutdoors · 12/09/2018 12:38

I have had the date for my booking in appointment come through but it's in the middle of the day so it will make it awkward with work. I don't want to tell them before my 12 week scan but they don't like staff making doctors appointment during work time so wont be impressed with me leaving at lunch time. Any ideas of how to explain it without revealing all.

ZoeOutdoors · 12/09/2018 12:39

Ive had a few dizzy spells. Normally getting up too quick in the night going to the loo.

MynameisJune · 12/09/2018 12:50

Can you book half a days annual leave? Last time I told my manager and HR at 5 weeks so that if anything went wrong they would understand my having time off but it depends on your work.

Buenavista · 12/09/2018 12:53

Zoe have you tried asking for a different appt day / time? Yes occasional dizziness, and bit breathless going up stairs
