I shall be praying to the full moon to NOT go into labour this weekend! Monday shall be perfect! I have been feeling very odd today, really sick and tired and hot and not myself. I hope this is not a pre-cursor!

Night derlor, hope you are feeling better tomorrow xx

I shall update the stats list now with kiwinat/brownsuga's new name and get it bumped so any lurkers can find it!

Sorry DG, I do lose track of people sometimes! It's very hard to keep up with a mushy pg brain! Hope you don't have to wait til your edd for your bundle!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 21:49

Hi H&A

Have the teenage boys arrived ready to see a live birth in the front room!

Best ever form of future contraception for them I'd reckon!!

hollyandalice · 01/06/2007 21:53

Yep dkma, they are here! I am so hoping that the baby doesn't come this weekend! Though they prob wouldn't notice the difference between me normally and me in labour - mental screaming harpie!

Your edd is a day after mine! Fancy a race !

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 22:09

Don't fancy my odds in that race much!

This is your 2nd - they are more likely to come early aren't they?

Besides - only getting the odd mild BH a day and nothing else!

Would LOVE to meet my little boy ASAP tho!
Everything is ready - we just need HIM now!

Come on little fella - it's nice out here!!

My dd was induced at 12 days over, so I'm not holding out much hope of anything happening anytime soon! This last stretch is the most tedious isn't it? I really want to know what my little man looks like! It's so exciting!

hollyandalice · 01/06/2007 22:17

dg! Sorry again, I am sure I've missed more people off! I keep offending people I'm sure!

hollyandalice · 01/06/2007 22:49

Where is everyone? I feel lonely ! Isn't big brother a tedious pile of shite?!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 01/06/2007 23:11

Would you believe it..... I am STILL trying to finish my WORK!!! I am so shit!
I am just going to do one more bit then leave it till monday - and that WILL be my LAST DAY - so help me god!!!!!!!!!

Haven't had time to catch BB - but all those giggling girlies make my skin crawl!
And they are so SKINNY I HATE them!!

riabutterflew · 01/06/2007 23:31

Hi all. Just got back from my party and got the boys to sleep. I can't believe we were out til 10.30 (I am surprised my friends kids were still up too). I had a lovely time and lovely food, but I feel really down now. All the other guests were in couples (I was on my own as DH working) and one of each couple was on the same uni course and I felt a bit like a fish out of water. Also DS2 was really shy and clingy (which is not really like him, but I put it down to not knowing any of the other adults and the bump on the head earlier.) Silly, really. My friend is lovely though and I hope she enjoyed it as it was her "starting my new life" party.
My DS1 was a bit disgusted because his friend got his(own) willy out and was playing with it (DS1 is 10, his friend is 8!) They are both planning to sleep in tomorrow anyway!

I had pineapple for dessert and walked home in the dark (but it's foggy so didn't see the moon - no need to have sex with DH in the garden then!) but I have changed my mind and would rather wait a few days anyway!!! Maybe DH has a point and it would be nice to be a couple of days late and have LO on our WA.

annobal · 02/06/2007 06:49

Morning all. Another early start for me...5.30. I did have a really good sleep though. What happenned to my birth predictions? Guess I shouldn't give up my day job (and take up fortune telling?

Morning all, supposed to give birth tomorrow, in theory. In reality LO seems very comfy and seems to have no intention whatsoever of going anywhere.

Hope you are all well, I am feeling grumpy.

annobal · 02/06/2007 08:19

Morning! I feel like I've been up forever. Not going to be long for you now TA - very exciting! I was sure there would be some babies born last night - looks like I was wrong...

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 08:25

morning annobal! How are you?
tbh I am just very very of brownsuga and Daisy who have their dates all set...all this sitting around is killing me, I am so booorrrreeedd!

I am trying to be a bit proactive, stocking up the fridge/freezer, taking the dog for long walks, housework etc in an attempt to stir some action into the little blighter but it seems set for the long haul.

Like a few others too I am convinced that there is a 'problem', that all is not well. It's funny because until a few days ago I was really fine but now I am worried and want it out!

I was kind of looking forward to BB, I think it's pooh but I need the diversion, but I cannot watch all those skinny squarking women talk about bollocks all the time.

annobal · 02/06/2007 08:34

I had a great sleep last night, even in spite of my hideously early start, so feeling great. Think I may have had a show this morning but not sure (you'd think that 3rd time round I would know )

It is totally normal to feel worried and bored. Just be aware of the baby's movements - they will slow down just before you go into labour as well.

I'm also looking to tv for diversion but it is totally cack at the moment...

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 08:46

yes TV is ROYALLY shite. I have downloaded 4OD which helps - channel 4 on demand. You can just search for all the free stuff and watch all the stuff you missed. Kills half hour when you are bored anyway! Gordon Ramsay is always good.

You say that about the movements but tbh I am confused - one day the LO will be manic and dancing all over the place, another day it will hardly move a muscle and I am like 'yeeeeerrr it's gonna come soon!' then....nothing.
For example today it has hardly moved and I am getting heartburn again which says to me it's moved back up a bit. ARRRGGGHHH!!

No shows, no water, not even a BH really. Perhaps they dated it wrong lol

I was having a lovely sleep until dh leaps out of bed at 6.20 announcing he has to take the rubbish out. FFS!

annobal · 02/06/2007 08:51

Ooh - I have 4OD and I do like a bit of Gordon so I will investigate...

Heartburn isn't necessarily to do with baby's position - just means the relaxin (think that's what it is called) is working - or could be something you've eaten.

I love weekends - I get to have an afternoon nap and DH takes over.

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 08:56

morning all - i'm less grumpy today as i've had a great sleep
TA - just to throw a spanner in the works i didn't have a show with either of my previous labours and with my 2nd my waters didn't even break. (DD was born with a kind of jelly hat on full of my waters!!) With DD i just felt slightly off colour in the evening. (but not TOO off colour cause i did partake in the recommended sex before sleeping!!) I woke up at 02.15 having contractions - she was born at 04.44 - so no real signs till 02.15 for me - so don't despair i'm not expecting any warnings this time, just in case i have a similar story
got a bitch of a backache this morning though

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 08:57

4OD has been great, although I watched 'Embarrasing Illnesses' on it yesterday, ooeerr lots of boobs and willies and spunk and stuff. There was me thinking it might just be a spot of atheletes foot, nope, spotty dicks instead.

Why oh why do these people think 'ooh I know, I have what might be an STD, I must get myself to a tv studio and make the parents proud'?!
Crazy

I have told dh to let my text buddy know when things start to happen but I suspect I am going to be like most other first timers and run a few days late. It's very unfair!

DesperateDerlor · 02/06/2007 08:58

Full moon = bollocks by the way!!!
mind you, where are Daisy and Brownsugar.....

trendaverter · 02/06/2007 08:59

Derlor you have given me so much hope! I love you goddammit!
