@Lookingforadvice123 Yes I had mine at UHW. The letter came through on Monday. There were two pages - the first one was a letter just saying low risk but the second page had measurements and gave the odds for the risk (1:xxxx). If you don't want to see that page, could you ask someone else to open the letter and take that bit out? The envelope was stamped as being from the health board.

UndercoverLauren · 08/08/2018 11:51

I went to a pregnancy information evening last night and the midwives were recommending an app called Baby Buddy. I haven't tried it yet.

Lookingforadvice123 · 08/08/2018 12:08

Thanks lanalawr. No I guess if it's there in black and white I'll look at it. I just wonder why they've changed how they do it...

bubblybrit · 08/08/2018 12:53

@LookingAtTheStars89. Yes I had my scan first thing this morning! Everything is great. Seen her little heartbeat as well as lots of movement from her arms and legs. She is just amazing! When is your next scan/MW appointment? Xx

@bubblybrit beautiful scan pic!

I'm still waiting for my appointment 😭😭

AliceRR · 08/08/2018 13:43

@DragonFlew do you not have a date yet? How many weeks are you?

DragonFlew · 08/08/2018 14:01

@AliceRR I'm 11+3 today! I had my booking last week and mw said I should have a letter through by Friday with a date and if I don't get one to ring and chase it up.

Someone phoned me this morning to book me in for my booking appt on 23rd - despite me having had it last Saturday! Doesn't bode well for organisation on their end, hoping I don't have to wait that long for a scan!

bubblybrit · 08/08/2018 14:15

Thank you @DragonFlew. Hope you get your scan date through! I’m 12+5 today and this is my first nhs scan so hopefully yours will be within the next week or so 😀

AliceRR · 08/08/2018 14:21

@DragonFlew It will come, just keep chasing. They have to scan you by a certain date (14+1 is it?) but I know it’s frustrating as I had to wait as well. My booking in and scan are on this Friday at 13+4. Luckily there were someone helpful at my go surgery who also helped by chasing it every day for me.

craftymum01 · 08/08/2018 15:57

Is anyone else feeling really emotional? I keep crying at the stupidest things! I will be crying at Peppa Pig at this rate

lanalawr · 08/08/2018 16:06

@craftymum01 I thought I was doing ok but I cried at Bing last week... Unfortunately that is a true story...

DragonFlew · 08/08/2018 16:14

@aliceRR I think I will call tomorrow if I haven't had the letter by then, just to prompt them before the weekend. I think the last day for the nuchal screening is 13+6.

Baby160P · 08/08/2018 16:15

I cry all the time. Was mid Conversation with my other half the other day and started. Wasn't even a bad conversation, maybe what do you fancy for dinner and I cried. He was like what's wrong?!? I was like I don't know!! 😂

RedStef1983 · 08/08/2018 16:45

Deffo more emotional! Which isn't helped by all the things to think about and prepare!

Alicejj8x · 08/08/2018 17:09

I haven't been emotional yet really but have had moments where I just feel annoyed for no reason lol

AliceRR · 08/08/2018 17:40

I have had both: emotional sometimes and irritable at other times 🙄

twiglet · 08/08/2018 17:55

I got a bit emotional today told my team and rest of work other than managers today they were all so nice I almost cried there and then lol

somethingfromnothing · 08/08/2018 17:55

Had my scan today and have been put forward a couple of days so I’m 13 weeks exactly. Due 13th Feb. We’ve had so many early mc that I just can’t believe that we’ve got this far. Dd is delighted to be a big sister.

Alicejj8x · 08/08/2018 18:27

Funny isn't it how different
People are with pregnancy :)

The worry sets in again as the build up too the 12 week scan Monday!!

craftymum01 · 08/08/2018 18:27

aww @somethingfornothing we are due date buddies :)
Glad your scan went well

Baby160P · 08/08/2018 18:30

I have no patience too. I work with children so having to keep my cool and then come home and rant away.
Andddddd breathe.

SerialPlantKiller · 08/08/2018 18:38

@lanalawr can I ask what the Bing episode was? I have an encyclopaedic knowledge of them all. I'm definitely a bit more emotional, a lot more short tempered.

craftymum01 · 08/08/2018 18:39

Oh me too @Baby160P I just shouted at DH but not washing up pans from last night. Even though I had used them. And had been off work all day. And DS was at nursery.

I think that is the epitome of unreasonable

lanalawr · 08/08/2018 19:39

@SerialPlantKiller In my defence (not sure it's much of one) it wasn't a normal episode. It was the theatre show of Bing and the first time we'd taken dd to the theatre. Still felt like a muppet though.

Surprisedmom · 08/08/2018 19:51

I’m glad to hear i’m not the only one bursting into tears all the time - thought 2bh it was mostly all the stress of breaking up with my partner and moving half way across the country but think it’s also hormones to boot.
