Had 30 week midwife appointment today, baby is breech but she said it's no worries as he's got ages to turn still.
Getting such bad heartburn and acid reflux that it makes me throw up in the evenings, pure hell!😣

Cakelaur · 13/10/2018 11:00

No stretch marks here... yet... BUT I have smothered myself with cream and oil everyday from about 8 weeks!! 🙈
Does anyone get woken up in the night with leg cramp? The last couple of weeks I've had a random leg cramp that wakes me and I have to get out of bed to try and relieve it. It nearly had me in tears last night!! 😭

Other than that I feel pretty good. Things like tying shoes are defo getting harder, and there's defo more pressure on my back and hips (but totally expected this with only 9 weeks to go)

AGirlinLondon · 13/10/2018 11:05

I am now 7 weeks to go (!!) and get a random leg twitch, which pisses me off. Apart from that all good. Wasn’t expecting to still be able to shave my legs at this point! Can still regularly forget I am pregnant. Apart from when I walk upstairs, then I remember 😂

I can’t have a proper meal anymore though, get way too full. Had a whole pizza last night which was a mistake.

Gemsie1984 · 13/10/2018 13:05

Bit of a catch-up...
6-7 weeks to go here, depending on which date they decide for induction.. scary!
Really struggling now as we near the end. I said to OH if my first pregnancy was like this then I wouldn't have had more children. Jack will definitely be my last.
My main issues are lack of sleep caused by restless legs. I'm averaging about 2 hours sleep a night and it's affecting my mood massively. Been feeling very low lately. Secondly is the PGP. Getting around, turning over in bed, getting out the bath etc is challenging. Coupled with that I have at least 2 appointments at the hospital a week, which NEVER run on time. Just feel like I'm trapped in a cycle of hospital appointments and ailments! I'll be very glad to get my body back. Jack's growing well and has long legs (like his sister) and a big head (god help my poor fanny). At my 30 week scan he was breech but I had some whole belly juddering last night as I was trying to sleep.. so I think he may have turned. Next step is the 36 week scan and then date for induction, or section depending on his position. I'll be excited when I finally have a date! My GD is largely in control and I'm managing to stay diet led, which I'm pleased about.. the day of Jack's birth I'm going to celebrate with a massive slab of chocolate cake!! 😛

December2018 · 13/10/2018 14:30

Magical.... ohh my goodness!
He has the most handsome little face I have ever seen! 💙💙

MagicalCreatures · 13/10/2018 16:43

@December2018 Thanks Hun. I can’t even begin to explain the love I have for him already.
@Gemsie1984 Hi. Amazing to see you back on here and to hear that your not very far away from meeting your little Boy. As soon as he is here, the GD and PGP should all disappear 🤞🏻so not much longer now. I feel your pain. Sleeping is a huge issue for me too and I now sleep on the recliner sofa so that I can put my feet up but not have to sleep on my side. My hips are excruciating.
😂 at the fanny comment. Glad to see you still have a great sense of humour through all the struggles x x x

@MagicalCreatures he's so beautiful!

Athers666 · 13/10/2018 19:48

@cakelaur I get leg cramps at night too, sooo painful and makes me yelp. Just comes out of nowhere!

Stephisaur · 14/10/2018 09:26

@Gemsie1984 I use this gel when I have restless legs. I suffered with them pre pregnancy but didn’t have a name for them. My mum got me this (from boots I think) and it’s amazing. Keep it in the fridge and rub it on when they start to hurt.

All good over here. Built the cot yesterday. It suddenly feels very real 😬

Well I walked in from work today to find a 4ft dinosaur in the baby's room 😂😂🦖
I would love to know what a reborn will do with this....

Stephisaur · 14/10/2018 17:24

@December2018 is it wrong that I love it? 😂

December2018 · 14/10/2018 18:27

Haha and what is a reborn!
Isn't that one of those creepy lifelike dolls?
"Newborn"

I also secretly love it not gonna lie 😂😂

MagicalCreatures · 14/10/2018 23:23

@December2018 😂 that is the greatest. I freaking love it!!!!!
Though if I could have a giant teddy like that, it would be a giraffe. I’ve seen them a few times. But never a giant dinosaur x

Hi everyone! Looks like I've missed a bit since I last checked in... we are all on the countdown now huh! This last 10 weeks or so isn't fun or glamorous but those of you who have had 4D scans must be feeling so excited to meet the babies and be able to picture them. PGP is, like a lot of you, wearing me down a little though physio is helping. I had a fun trip to triage last week after some bleeding and cramps and was monitored for early labour - thankfully all is fine but I've had a stern word with him that he can stay in there until at least 37 weeks, ta!

Athers666 · 16/10/2018 20:40

Had my growth scan today and now have to go in for weekly scans as they are a little concerned about the growth, it's dipped a little since the last time so they want to keep an eye on it. Feeling really worried and trying to stay calm.

peachesarenom · 16/10/2018 22:26

MagicalCreatures those are the best scan pics I've seen! Squish just shows us his feet or the back of his head!

MagicalCreatures · 17/10/2018 20:37

@Athers666 Thanks Hun. And do stay calm if you can. It must be very scary though. What made you need the growth scans in the first place?

@peachesarenom Thankyou. We were very lucky. At first he had all his limbs covering his face but the ladies were so fab and patient. And with a little help from a cold carton or orange juice (not Caprisun but good enough 😂) he woke up a little.

@kaytees oh you poor thing. That sounds really frightening. That’s my worst nightmare at the moment. The thought of going into early labour. Thank goodness everything is ok. Sorry to hear you have PGP too. I’ve been referred to physio but wasn’t really sure if there was any point as I’m sure there’s a waiting list. And with only 10 weeks to go 😩

It really is the big countdown now ladies. I’m getting very emotional thinking about how we all made it to this point. It’s been such a journey.
Hope the rest of you are doing ok x x

@MagicalCreatures Oh it's because my dd was a low birth weight when I had her. At least with the weekly monitoring if anything bad happens then it won't go unnoticed I guess. He's still kicking away so I just hope he'll catch up again soon. I can't eat very well at the moment due to heartburn/reflux as I keep throwing up. Just wish these last 8 weeks would hurry up!

kaytees · 18/10/2018 10:28

@MagicalCreatures I have to say the physio really helped me, the exercises are good but the actual manipulation etc has made a huge difference. I'm lucky to have been able to pay for private physio though, seems so hard to have to go on a waiting list when you're pregnant!

Is anyone else really struggling with lightning pains? I remember having them a lot later on with my first, I seem to have sharp pain down there every day at the moment and it quite takes the breath away!

December2018 · 19/10/2018 04:04

No sleep has struck again ladies!.... brilliant!

AGirlinLondon · 20/10/2018 09:35

Zomg. Where did time go.

0lgaDaPolga · 20/10/2018 09:38

I’m finding it really hard to sleep too. In the last week or so I’ve been getting really annoying hip pain and keep having to turn over in bed. 34 weeks now so not too long left! Then I’ll be woken up at night for a different reason!

December2018 · 21/10/2018 10:41

Is anyone else having pressure in their hoo haa!

I'm 32 weeks on Wednesday and it feels like he's trying to make the great escape!
