Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 21:21

sorry Daisy - was that you giving me into trouble??

foxybrown · 31/05/2007 21:21

mmm, where can I place my order? yum. is that a Hotel Chocolate selection?

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 21:26

actually i bet 4 out of 6 of those would be quite tasty!
anyone live near the cadburry's factory that could just drop by and sell them the idea???

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 21:28

SG is up that way! Maybe she could try her sales pitch out! The Bendicks factory is up the road from me, but I think they might be a bit classy to do spunk surprise!

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 21:30

i'm only about 10 miles from the Tunnocks factory but they only do biscuits - maybe they could branch out though

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 21:35

I'm off to bed, I'm so tired I feel sick! Night all and will someone hurry up and have their baby! xxxx

DesperateDerlor · 31/05/2007 21:37

night Holly - and i'll try to have mine - just for you xxx

hollyandalice · 31/05/2007 21:40

Please do derlor, it'll be ever so exciting! Night xxx

annobal · 31/05/2007 22:14

Tip from MW for speeding up labour - calcium, calcium, calcium. Cervix is made of collagen and calcium breaks down collagen (hope I've got this right). So that's a great excuse to get eating the calcium ladies...

annobal · 31/05/2007 22:15

DOH - last calcium meant to read ICECREAM

riabutterflew · 31/05/2007 23:09

Ice cream has started to make me sick.

Sorry to miss the evenings entertainment. I had so much washing up to do I got sidetracked into cleaning surfaces and tiles etc. (This isn't quite as bad as before DS1 was born when all I wanted to do was sleep at daytime and then I would get up at 3am to clean the bathroom and dust and stuff. I am getting up at 3am now to throw up.) At least I'll still be awake when DH gets in.

My feet have started to take on the appearance of corned beef, but not swell up. It's still not a good look.

Have a good nights sleep everyone. Hope that baby knows it's timetable derlor - we'll be waiting with bated breath. Good luck to anyone else who gets taken over by the moon...

Nite Rx

BadZelda · 01/06/2007 08:58

Right. Baby has permission to be born now. Got to go back to the dentist as the repair fell off: ARRSEEEEE but once that's out of the way I've got no problem with you coming out, d'you hear? Seems to be sitting on a nerve so my left leg keeps collapsing, which is rather inconvenient!

mytwocents · 01/06/2007 08:59

Hello Ladies!!

I still have no computer .....

I am still pg though - looking like a large potatoe - or a small building....

PMSL at your spunk suprise! Brilliant, I want some don't I ??

Well, we havent exchanged contracts on the house yet as we've had a dodgy damp report, this could all drag on and on now. Part of me just thinks 'sod the damp, let me move!!!'

Hope all are well as can be expected, I've missed reading all the news so will try to catch up a bit today xxx

Ankles still missing by the way......?!

bumperlicious · 01/06/2007 09:03

Grrrr! Was actually appreciating being able to sleep and not being in agony and the bloody postman wakes me up! We live in a flat so have a really load buzzer phone that can induce a minor coronary if it wakes you up! He and I are going to have to have a little chat once this baby is born else I'm going to be foisting a screaming child onto him!

Fingers crossed it looks like the good weather is back!

Hope you all had peaceful nights. Any more babies yet?

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 09:05

I vowed I'd stay off here today but I have to vent.....my DS is being the child from hell today. We've had nothing but whingeing and moaning and crying and screaming since 6 o bloody clock this morning, and I'm not emotionally stable enough to deal with it....so rather than acting in the calm and relaxed, no-nonsense parenting style that I should, I've shouted back at him......and feel like a right old cow now!
......AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

And my ankles are horrible today already, its warm and sunny and it's only gonna get worse

Roll on tonight, when DH is home.......he'll be here for a WHOLE MONTH!!!!

mytwocents · 01/06/2007 09:08

Hello Bumper and BZ !
Our postman does that too! Felt very ungrateful the other day as was a parcel from my lovely sister but I just wanted to stay in bed....Do you have a long pillow? I sleep much better with mine now...
BZ ouch for you with tooth trouble, does it hurt? I cant find an NHS dentist to even see me and it's been over 7 years since I've been.....

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 09:08

....and my back is killing me so I've started on the pain killers already today...

Right, I'm off to tkae my misery out on the housework, its reached that stage where I have to run around like a whirling dervish and won't be happy til it's done!

Back later when I've found my good huomour cuddled up under the sofa with a warren full of dust bunnies!!

mytwocents · 01/06/2007 09:10

Daisy you poor thing! Can you put him in front of a video or out in the garden?

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRSSSSSSSSEEE!!!!!

For you. X

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 01/06/2007 09:13

Video/telly is usually first line of defense, but the programmes he likes to watch these days just make him more disagreeable.

Think I'll tie him to the sofa and force him to watch the Teletubbies.

Feeling shit about it as he's been out with friends all week and the day and a half that I've had him so far, I just can't cope with him.....so I lurk on the computer and neglect him.

I'm sure he just wants a bit of attention!

anyway....later!

annobal · 01/06/2007 09:23

Daisy. Sorry you're not feeling well today. MW last night said lots of calcium (think I will be taking supplements).

Sorry about the tooth BZ - hope it gets sorted quickly.

I'm waiting to get a scan appointment - baby is measuring small for dates (currently measuring 30 weeks and should be measuring 35). It could be to do with the placenta or could be cos I was ill and baby is playing catch up. I figure it's not worth worrying about until I know....

juliewoolie · 01/06/2007 09:37

Hi ladies,

as its now officially June and my LO has decided it doesnt want to be a May baby I am popping in to say hello.

Sorry some of you are feeling a bit rubbish I know the heat does not help the swollen ankles but at least its stopped raining.

Have a good day I am off to do everything on all fours to try get things moving.

bumperlicious · 01/06/2007 09:40

Daisy, don't run aroun clearing up! You'll only make yourself worse!

Sorry to hear about your tooth BZ.

Mytwocents - I've tried pillows in every conceivable position! Problem is that I regularly need to turn over and have to manoeuver the bloody cushions to the other side of me!

Annobal, I hope everything is alright with you. What a great attitude though - I would be panicking like anything - which isn't helpful! I hope you get your scan asap. Take things easy xxx

bumperlicious · 01/06/2007 09:41

Hi Juliewoolie - welcome to the dark side! Thinking speedy thoughts for you!

annobal · 01/06/2007 09:47

Hi Juliewoo, you can join us all in baying at the full moon (or dancing nekid) tonight. Sending you lots of labour vibes...

Thanks Bumper, am now panicking slightly as can't get in to scan until Tuesday (am I allowed a small AARRSSEE) so need to start distracting myself, and maybe paying some attention to T&G.

bumperlicious · 01/06/2007 09:55

Annobal you are allowed a big AAAAARRRRRRRSSSSSEEEEEE ! It's going to be a long weekend for you, I'm sure everything is fine and you just need some distractions. I suggest chocolate, ice cream, magazine and of course MN! Is the weather nice where you are? Could you take the LOs out?
