hello

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
DaisysGotSausageFeet · 29/05/2007 20:55

Never tried WW...more of a slimming world lass me as you can eat huge portions and still lose weight, but I think WW do something similar as well now don't they?

hollyandalice · 29/05/2007 20:56

Cake and wine for me all day when bubs is born! Veg is free isn't it? I'll just eat loads of carrots and peas for actual food!

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 29/05/2007 20:58

Oops....gotta go, don't want to be late for my date with gordon, LOL

Oh, btw...i keep on checking Natty's blog, but no sign of photos yet. I hope all is well with them and that they're just busy moving/adjusting to new baby/settling in etc (by heck she doesn't do things by half)....
I might send a quick text to see that she's OK

DaisysGotSausageFeet · 29/05/2007 21:00

peas are quite fattening Holly...don't think they count as free because of that fact

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:02

30 POINTS - YIPPEE, i swear by WW but have never used when BF before - i've scrimped by on 18 or 20 points - worked a treat though

hollyandalice · 29/05/2007 21:03

Shit, carrots and lettuce then!

bumperlicious · 29/05/2007 21:05

Never tried WW. Is it worth the money?

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:05

it'll be worth it for all the cake and wine you can gorge on

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:07

well Bumper i've done WW twice - 1st time lost 1.5 stone in 10 weeks, 2nd time lost 2 stone in 14 weeks. biggest plus is that you can eat WHATEVER you want

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:13

Yep, I love it too! There's always a registration free voucher in the News of the World so you can save, then I think its about £4 or £5 a week. You do have to pay if you sign up and miss a week (unless its holiday). Or you can just sign up and get the books. Oh, you can do it on-line too.

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:15

Not that I read News of the World, you understand - DP gets it ... for the sport, you know.

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:35

OMG!

I've killed the thread!!!

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:38

oh sorry Foxy i'm back - was off looking at lovely clothes that will fit me soon

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:39

Phew! Thought you'd all left me for Gordon!

hollyandalice · 29/05/2007 21:41

I was looking at wallpaper! I'm obsessed! I finally found some that both dp and I like, but he says it's too expensive! So I'm looking for cheaper stuff now I know what I'm looking for.

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:41

oh no not me - i'd rather catch your mice for you then watch him - not my cup of tea at all! - (sorry Daisy)

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:42

oh hi holly, what are you looking for can we help? - i'm bored!

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:43

Has he still not finished your bedroom?!

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:47

woosh - sudden subject change alert - either my baby is lying right across my tummy or it has an extremely large arse also making really weird movements tonight - maybe it's trying to get out

riabutterflew · 29/05/2007 21:48

Much happier ria today. (still shit-scared about labour, coping with three - being nice to existing two, BF, money, DH job etc though). My local Morrisons (do you have them down south?) has Guylian praline bars (120g) for £1 each and they're nearly as good as the seashells. Had nice family day out (apart from DH being grumpy with boys because he works too hard, but they got on ok most of the time) and even went walking in the forestry (OK, we only did the 750yard walk round the lake, but it was ACTIVE). Have done a bit of walking round town too.

Re cleaning lightbulbs - I did that last week and cleaned it so vigorously it snapped, so not a good plan! I do sometimes clean light switches too. I hope to get on with the nesting tomorrow so it's finished by Friday then I can pencil DH in for sex Friday afternoon . He has a function on he doesn't want to do! No sex/curry/anything until then though cos my parents are away til the weekend so there's noone super-convenient to look after the boys!

Lilkel, am so happy to read your post. Serves as a reminder to us all what it's all FOR. Well done and be as smug as you like!

Hope I haven't missed anyone out. Happy hugs to all. Be back to moaning old ria tomorrow when I've run out of chocolate. Nite all.x (Am off to be nice to DH in a non-sexy way!)

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:48

mine manages to get both her shoulders down into either side of my hips at the same time. I felt her thigh earlier. That was a bit weird!

justbeme · 29/05/2007 21:52

God I cant read - I always thought it was "Likel" - but its not its "Lilkel" Dohhhhh!!

Oh yes no one answered me re my question the other day - but I got it abit wrong -
are you letting the medics give your LO the BCG vaccine straight after being born?? Ive got to let them know apparently??

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:52

Hi Ria - don't go so soon stay and chat - glad you feeling a bit better today
Foxy i'm impressed how the hell can you tell which bit of baby is which - are you secretly a MW???

foxybrown · 29/05/2007 21:52

Fantastic Ria, am so glad you have had a lovely day, and you are being nice to your DH! (careful, he will think his lucks in!)

Don't worry about coping with 3, 1 - 2 was much harder. By number 3, you just give up on so much! Really, as they say, "don't sweat the small stuff"! One of my kids went out looking like Stig of the Dump today, the other like he was going to Sunday school. DD went out looking very "boho" (i.e. nothing went with anything else). They were all clean(ish), fed and happy!

DesperateDerlor · 29/05/2007 21:53

i've NEVER heard of a bcg vaccine being given to a newborn - whats that about???
