@jennac hurray! I have never seen the point of New Year so delighted we'll have something proper to celebrate. We have already decided we must always keep Christmas and birthday presents completely separate so their birthday feels special. And maybe birthday parties at their half birthday in the summer

@bakingdemon wow!! I love how much you've thought this through!! Lovely plans. I think I've just been assuming that it'll arrive a few weeks late if I'm honest! But was very happy to have that due date when the lady doing the scan told me - it does sound like a very special day to be due on! What a way to welcome in the new year 😀

@bakingdemon that was exactly what I was thinking to do. My original due date was 1st of Jan and DH and I decided that if baby does come then, then we will have a half birthday party in the summer. That way their actual birthday is a family affair

Had my 12 week scan today. All good. Official DD is 6th Jan

Hello everyone!

I'm 9 weeks, due end of Jan. My first, planned and desperately wanted but a high risk pregnancy and I'm on my own and feeling very on my own if that makes sense?

I'm also panicking that something will go wrong. I had an early scan and all was good but that was 2 1/2 weeks ago and I've not been feeling so sick these last few days which feels bad. But I've heard that can be normal as the placenta begins to take over hormone production?

So really I just want to say hello and chat to ppl at the same stage.

Hi @racoonbaby I’m 9+1 due 31st Jan.. im also high risk, due to having a low bmi

I get really bad nausea around midday which comes and goes and it’s driving me mad.

I have my dating scan on the 10th.. I’m worried they’ll push my date back as the one I have is a guess by the midwife due to me having really irregular periods and we just went by what the digital said and she added some weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️😬

I feel sorry for my DH as my mood has been all over the place this past week 🙈

I'm actually due on the 6th of February according to my dates but I have a history of huge babies arriving early (and I will probably have to have another c-section).
I'm really struggling with the nausea and tiredness this time. Also my boobs are huge, it's crazy! Going for my first midwife appointment on Friday and hopefully get my scan booked, so excited

Hi All. I’m due the 4/01/19 with first baby. Very excited but also nervous. We got sent for a scan the day after our booking in appt, which ended up being a bit early, so I have another scan on Tuesday. Can’t wait. Would like to join the Facebook group too if possible!

I'm now 10 weeks. I've got my booking apt with the midwife on Wed, I'm both excited and nervous. This is all new to me. Having heard that some have got a scan quickly after seeing the midwife gives me hope - I'd expected a really long wait and I want to see my little one to check it's ok...

It's so good to find ppl going through this too, hearing others feel sick (and I have huge sore boobs too), helps. But I'm also feeling a bit down sometimes. I'm ashamed as this is all I've wanted all my life. I think really it's that I'm tired and I know I've been a bit grumpy with various people so I'm feeling guilty about that... anyone else not on top of the world all the time? Sorry to ask.

Afternoon all!
12 weeks today with a rainbow baby after a loss in March. Finally feeling brave enough to join!

Jumping in late as I am almost at the 12 week mark. Due with my second on the 16/01 and currently on maternity leave with my little boy who is almost 10 months. I have a feeling I will be very sleep deprived in 2019

Had a scan last Thursday but was only 11 weeks so back in again next week and can't wait to see my little miracle again.

Hello to the newbies and congrats!!! 😄 hope scans all go well. Second trimester officially starts for me tomorrow as I hit 14 weeks. Suddenly seems to be going really quickly!

Anyone found a way to deal with the bloatingness and gas? Seem to get it every evening not too bad during the day. I've tried peppermint water but it makes me sick.

Can anyone tell me how to join the Facebook group? I find fb easier for conversations to flow.
