@jellyfish2210 I'm quite excited about the prospect of a new year baby! Although not sure about doing Christmas nearly 9 months pregnant - might have to try and persuade my parents that as they live in the middle of nowhere, coming to us where the hospital is 10 minutes away would set my mind at ease

esmith900 · 19/06/2018 20:51

Hey, I'd love to join the Facebook group but I'm worried that people on my friends list will be able to see that I've joined.. will it come up on their news feeds? We haven't told everyone our news yet and I don't want them to find out like that haha.

Leliana · 19/06/2018 20:56

@esmith900 No, it's a secret group Smile

Anyone else really struggling with sickness I'm 10 weeks tomorrow and cant stop heeving all day and being sick little bits

jellyfish2210 · 20/06/2018 07:23

@bakingdemon I know what you mean about being pregnant for Christmas. Last year my MIL came to us for Christmas and I was so ill but still managed to cook. This year I'm hoping my parents will come to us so that my mum can cook...

jennac · 20/06/2018 08:00

@Littlebump2018 congratulations!!!! Beautiful pic. So happy for you!!xxx

jennac · 20/06/2018 08:05

@Ash1992 I'm 11+5 today and it's only been the last two or three days max that I've noticed the nausea starting to subside slightly (now it's down to about 50% of the time which is an amazing improvement!) so hopefully you're not too far away from some relief! Smile

Ash1992 · 20/06/2018 08:41

@Jennac are you still vomiting or it's just the nausea ? I hope so I feel like it's never ending I am more dry heeving so hopefully it's coming to end . It just seems to stay with me all day at work trying to hide it from my colleagues too

Merrz · 20/06/2018 09:58

Aww Littlebump what a good picture! Congratulations Grin
I'm 10 weeks today, the nausea has subsided a bit although still comes and goes and still struggling to eat certain things. I'm still feeling absolutely exhausted though, could sleep for Britain. Anyone else feeling frustrated with not getting anything done?

Littlebump2018 · 20/06/2018 13:29

Thanks so much for your nice comments we are so happy at the moment :) xxx

mwnca · 20/06/2018 17:30

Got my scan date: 17th July. Will be 13 weeks by then. Also having a private scan this Friday (will be 9+3). After a MMC/blighted ovum last autumn, we are hoping for some reassurance that things are progressing okay this time.

jennac · 20/06/2018 18:02

@mwnca best of luck on Friday. Sending lots of positive wishes Smile I also have a scan on Friday morning...scary stuff but fingers crossed it's a lucky day all round!

stegosauruslady · 21/06/2018 10:04

I'm actually really looking forward to being heavily pregnant over Christmas! It means that I won't have to go anywhere that I don't want to go, DP and I will cook lunch together and I will spend Boxing day lying in bed with chocolate and movies!

Hcna23 · 21/06/2018 12:46

Hey guys hope it’s ok for me to join...

age: 23 DC#1

Found out today I’m 8 weeks which is a surprise as I only found out I was pregnant on Sunday and didn’t expect to be so far along..

EDD: 31.01.19

jennac · 21/06/2018 13:54

@Hcna23 hello and welcome!! Congrats SmileSmile how did you find out you are 8 weeks along? I think that's a nice time to find out as the most riskiest weeks are already behind you!! Yay!

Hcna23 · 21/06/2018 15:55

@jennac thankyou!
I had my midwife booking in appointment today.. and from what she worked out I’m 8 weeks won’t know for sure til my dating scan in a few weeks

sexnotgender · 21/06/2018 16:10

Had my initial midwife appointment yesterday, they were so lovely.

Have been referred to the foetal medicine team though due to my older daughters medical issues. Reckon I'll need additional cardio scans.

Overdid it a bit yesterday moving house stuff and building furniture, taking it easy today but I'm quite sore.

Leliana · 21/06/2018 17:05

Sorry I've been quiet for a couple of days - busy at work!

I was retching a lot earlier this week, but have felt better today. I'm 10+4 today so hopefully the hormones are starting to settle!

I'm looking forward to being heavily pregnant over Christmas too. I'm going to volunteer to play Mary in our church Nativity Grin

OP posts:
sexnotgender · 21/06/2018 17:15

My husband is a minister, hoping for a real live baby for the nativity Grin

sexnotgender · 21/06/2018 17:16

Seeing as he won’t let me get the donkey I wantAngry

Merrz · 21/06/2018 21:33

Haha Sexnotgender baby might be a good substitute for a donkey!
I'm getting fed up of feeling so rubbish, though I'd turned a corner earlier this week but been sick yesterday and today and literally spent the whole evening on the couch Sad

mwnca · 22/06/2018 07:53

Good luck @jennac Hope all goes well this morning.

jennac · 22/06/2018 11:57

@mwnca thank you so much! Really appreciated! Have you had your private scan yet?? If not best of luck to you!!
I barely slept a wink last night...silly I know. Had the scan this morning and all good!! Yay! Strong heart beat and now have a due date of 1st January it really is the most incredible experience seeing the baby like that! Blown away!xx
