The first thread is almost full, so here we go: post here if you're expecting a baby in January 2019!

I think I ate the equivalent of about a half of an entire fresh pineapple last night! The things that appeal to me seem SO good.

Brushing my teeth this morning triggered a bunch of retching after a few days with no sickness. Really hope it’s fading soon!

I’ve been looking at pictures of people’s bumps at different weeks because I have a wedding to attend in October and I’m in the wedding party and they have been talking about what we should wear. It’s making it seem more real, but also stressful because I have no idea how I’m to pick a dress! I’d be 27 weeks- some people almost don’t look pregnant and others look full term!

Hi guys. Feel like a bit of a lurker as only commenting on here every week or so - but very much enjoying following. I’ve requested to join the FB group. I’m still in my June 15 group and it’s been the most amazing support system for over 3 years now so thanks for setting it up x

TheNewDelia · 14/06/2018 19:01

@emdoc, my sister had a pregnant bridesmaid a few years ago and the dressmaker made her an amazing dress with a lace up back, was so lovely and didn't matter that she was a bit bigger by that point than she had expected

LJFM2B · 14/06/2018 20:08

Spicy food all way right now - could easily eat hot sauce off the spoon 😬

blorgzorb · 14/06/2018 20:25

10+4 today and my nausea seems to be subsiding a little. God I really hope so, I'm desperate to feel a bit more like 'me' again!! Although I did just retch brushing my teeth do perhaps a little way to go yet!

I requested to join the group too @LG93, thank you for setting it up Grin

LG93 · 14/06/2018 21:00

Just managed to eat a whole pizza - it's the most I've eaten in one go since falling pregnant... Think I'm finally coming out the other side of my vomiting and nausea and getting my appetite back 👌

Upsydasiy · 14/06/2018 21:03

Everyone’s nausea settling is giving me hope.
Tonight I’ve managed there mouthfuls of pasta and that’s a big step in the right direction 😂🙈

belsrgu7u · 14/06/2018 21:17

Hi guys! Can I join? I’m 9+2 due Jan 14th! This is my first and I’m so nervous! I had my booking in appointment yesterday and I have my 12 week scan on 5th July. Hoping it looks more like a baby than on my 7 week scan!

Ash1992 · 15/06/2018 08:16

What can you do about brushing teeth as everytime I brush my teeth or even use a mouth wash I end up being sick

Frenchiemamax · 15/06/2018 09:21

Same problem here Ash I just brush, then throw up, then brush again, repeat until I'm not sick!

jennac · 15/06/2018 09:53

One week today til my 12 week scan. So nervous now!!! Anyone else got theirs next week?x

laurs2309 · 15/06/2018 10:15

@jennac yes mine is on Tuesday. Not sure if I'm nervous or excited!

Merrz · 15/06/2018 10:21

belsrgu7u welcome and snap i'm also 9 + 2 and 12 week scan is 5th July think my due date is a little later though because i had long cycles.
Don't want to speak too soon but today is the best i've felt in about 3 weeks so hoping the worst of the nausea and exhaustion is past, so glad it's almost the weekend though!

jellyfish2210 · 15/06/2018 11:48

@jennac me too!! I will be 12+4. Haven't had an early scan or anything so desperate to see what's going on in there!!

Leliana · 15/06/2018 11:59

I'm 9+5 today. Booking appointment this afternoon. I'm retching when I brush my teeth, but I find that if I stop for a few minutes then try again I'm ok.

How's everyone else's symptoms now? I've had relatively mild symptoms, some nausea, tiredness and bigger boobs but over the past week or so everything seems to be wearing off or coming and going. I'm 9+5 today and just wondering how others compare.

I have my scan booked for when I'll be 11+4, I know it's early but I'm pleased about it as I'm already counting down the days!

LG93 · 15/06/2018 13:33

Last call to the Facebook group before I make it secret!

There's one request pending as they've not confirmed their username - if it's you please let me know or pm me and I'll add you! ☺️

jennac · 15/06/2018 14:08

@laurs2309 @jellyfish2210 ahh it’s crazy isn’t it. I’m the same, I’m so intrigued to see what’s going on in there but at the same time constantly reminding myself that everything is still uncertain! Fingers crossed for all of us!xxxx

jellyfish2210 · 15/06/2018 14:21

Literally bursting with excitement! We are heading to visit family for the weekend right after the scan so we will be able to tell people at last!! Our parents all know but no one else. So looking forward to sharing our news with extended family!

boatyroo · 15/06/2018 14:33

Hi all, I'm 9 weeks today, just had my booking in appointment. I have a 2 year old already and a little worried about how I will cope with two, as he's still not a fantastic sleeper, but fingers crossed he'll improve by January!
I'm just about to request to join the FB group, thanks for setting it up!

sexnotgender · 15/06/2018 20:07

Hello! I'm 8+4 and due 22nd January.

The food struggle is real... really, really struggling with meat. Currently surviving on digestive biscuits and toast.

ready4number2 · 15/06/2018 21:08

Think that was me @LG93 . I've joined the group now. Still nervous to post more until I have my scan and know all is ok. Booked in 2 weeks.

lotbyname · 15/06/2018 21:14

Been awhile as i find threads so hard to follow! Kinda been waiting for the fb page... 😁

Had scan! Saw movements

lotbyname · 15/06/2018 21:15

Oh no! Have I missed it?????

Notevenmyrealname · 15/06/2018 21:30

Hi. I’m 10+3 today and a bit of a lurker. Commented on last thread but not really had much to say since then. I lost some weight in the early weeks as I was off my food so even though I am starting to get a bit of a rounded tummy, it’s not showing as I’m probably only the weight now that I was when I started. One upside of the nausea at least 😄. I’m a bit worried today though as my youngest has had a tummy bug for the last couple of days. Not a terrible one but diarrhoea and she’s been sick twice. I’ve been feeling OK morning sickness wise for the last week or so, but today I have started to feel quite nauseous and have a bit of a tummy ache, so I think I might be coming down with the bug. Do I just put up with it and hope it passes quickly like I usually do with these things that I pick up from the children from time to time or should I be a bit more concerned as I’m pregnant (of course it was obviously going to happen over the weekend when I can’t ring my GP)?
