Just had viability scan. All fine with the pregnancy. Saw baby and heartbeat. Very relieved to know everything is going okay so far.

Hello, can I join? I have been posting in the Jan 2019 thread in Pregnancy; I didn't realise this thread was here. Would like to join the FB group too if that's OK, I find FB much easier to keep up with! I'm still in the Facebook group from my last pregnancy (2016) and the ladies are amazing.

I'm due with DC2 on the 26th of Jan (subject to dating scan) so hopefully will just squeak into January, all being well.

I don't have Facebook 🙁 will just stick around on here!

Anyone know how to get rid of the horrible taste in your mouth. It's constant with water or juice everything tastes horrible I'm 10 weeks

I don't think you can PM via the app. I had to do it via the website as I couldn't work it out on the app at all.

I managed to find how to do it on the app but it's a bit long winded, you can get t your inbox through the settings menu, think I went into policies and something x

Posted over in the pregnancy board too. I'm 10 weeks with DC#2
DD is 6 though so I feel like a FTM all over again - I have forgotten everything!

I have my scan on Thursday as I'm unsure of dates as I came off the implant and didn't have a period for a few months but I'm guessing about 10 weeks. Been feeling absolutely awful with retching non stop ALL day but thankfully today has been a lot better. Hoping that starts to tail off now.

So nervous yet excited at the same time! I just want to see something on the screen and know everything is okay.

Welcome new peeps! So many scans upcoming, very exciting! My own is on a Wednesday afternoon, can’t wait!

Good luck to everyone with scans this week!! Hope they all go well. Don't forget to update us 😀 I'm waiting on the results of blood tests from my 12 week scan...they said if no phone call by end of Wednesday it will be a letter but that means I'll be low risk. At the moment every second that my phone doesn't ring is good news!

Got my scan this afternoon! I've been holding off on joining the FB group as I think there's a chance they may say my due date is the end of Dec.

@jennac fingers crossed for you! Are you waiting to tell people before the end of Wednesday or did you tell people straight after your scan?

@Velvete thank you!! I still haven't told anyone yet...I want to tell family first and my parents live 200 miles away so we're gonna go and visit them on 7th July and tell them then, and then after that my partners parents and then everyone else!! Work etc. It's hard keeping it under wraps at work though as I'm totally showing!!

We're going to tell our parents together this weekend, then gradually tell friends after that. Most nervous really about telling work.

Hi can I cautiously join please. I'm 12 weeks tomorrow and have my day scan Thursday morning. I've already has a reassurance scan at 9 weeks and all was good so trying to be hopeful.

I had a late miscarriage at New year losing my baby at 19 weeks so don't want to join the Facebook group until much later, probably after 20 weeks and will probably be pretty quiet on here too as I'm such a nervous wreck but just didn't want to be left behind either. My 2016 group which I joined when having DD are brilliant and I've found it very supportive so hoping for the same for this baby.

@17caterpillars1mouse welcome!! I’m so sorry to hear about your previous loss I hope everything goes perfectly for you this time! The Facebook group is lovely when/if you do feel up to joining.

I have scan tomorrow and then blood work after (or early next am) for screening, then leave for a week to visit my parents. Hope the news is good as being away from DH for a week if it isn’t would be rough.

I’m 12+6 today and still vomiting 😩 Hopefully the scan looks good and makes up for how rotten I feel!
