Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
riabutterflew · 18/05/2007 21:00

It won't last. Is't there a football match on tomorrow?

If my DHs boss disappears to the football too I expect we will be a no-job household by tomorrow night.

Maybe they are just getting excited?

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 21:02

Just think the football will be over in a week! Hooray!

riabutterflew · 18/05/2007 21:04

And obviously I won't be able to return to work because my typing is as shit as my grammar!

Wishful thinking - maybe you'll get a lie-in Holly? Do the boys play nicely with DD? Definitely no point in tidying up though. I seem to be doing jobs, followed by DS2 who trashes what I've just done, or somewhere I haven't got to yet. He is currently into putting his hands on the windows I've just cleaned (I KNOW the baby won't care whether the windows are clean or not...). At least it's highly unlikely he'll mess up the freshly cleaned airing cupboard (no wonder I spend the afternoon in bed!)

Must put them to bed, just in case DH drops his pursuit of our neighbour and comes home early.

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:04

Deep breaths Holly, its only the start of the weekend

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 21:09

Lie in, mmmm interesting concept! I will no doubt be sleeping on the floor in dd's room tonight so as soon as she wakes up she will want to get up and go downstairs. Usually she plays in her cot for a bit or goes back to sleep if it's early!

annobal · 18/05/2007 21:11

Am watching Secrets and Lies on Film 4 (had to turn it up due to DH's snoring) but bored, bored, bored and considering bed...

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:12

evenin!

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:12

Oh I love Mike Leigh!

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:13

well i see everyone has discovered my secret JD will be suprised..

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 21:13

You are very tolerant annobal! I can't even be in the same room as dp when he snores, it drives me mad!! Hence me sleeping in random places around the house!!

annobal · 18/05/2007 21:13

Me too, it's a great movie, just don't know if I've the patience (or concentration span) to watch it

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 21:15

Does he need a bit on the side Natty??

MamaMaiasaura · 18/05/2007 21:15

Just popped on here to wish you all the best with your births I am far far off that - from the Jan thread. Cant wait till we are at your stage!

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:15

Have flicked it over and am thinking the same, and if I Sky+ it I've missed the beginning.

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:16

??

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:16

o, the woman in the blue dress was me this morning

Thanks Awen! Hope you are enjoying your pregnancy

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:16

bit on the side? u saying im not enough?

tee hee...

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:18

And Awen, when you get to our stage you too can be sore, grumpy, cranky, fat blubbering wreck too! At least, that's me with 6 weeks to go!

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:19

tell u what im actually rather relieved he is off work, i am so uncomfortable, and being as had 9possible) show yesterday wondering if i might go into labour over weekend? plus have a sweep booked for wednesday, so might have bubba this time next week anyway. good thing is i can make him paint our new house ready to move into, instead of doing a little bit here and there. also means we can avoid sleeping in house with paint fumes, as will still be in old place IYKWIM!

NattyThomasandEllen · 18/05/2007 21:20

has everyone gone to bed? i must get on here earlier i always miss u all

hollyandalice · 18/05/2007 21:21

Hi awen! I was reading a thread earlier you posted on, you live in the same city as me !! Hope your baby growing is going well!!

Well natty, if he ever fancies playing out an Edward Scissorhands fantasy send him my way!!

annobal · 18/05/2007 21:22

Foxy, that was me at 12 weeks . Have given up and watching some crap on more 4

Good point Natty - sounds as though you are nesting big time

MamaMaiasaura · 18/05/2007 21:23

At 7 weeks gone I am a blubbering wreck so dp in for a ride then

HollyandAlice - are u going to princess anne? I am trying o get into winchester cos ds1 was born there and my ex-p girlfriend is a midwife @ princess anne so not really comfortable going there.

annobal · 18/05/2007 21:23

I do love JD. There was a porn version (I hear) of Edward Scissorhands...

foxybrown · 18/05/2007 21:24

The mind boggles Holly! Edward Sissorhands fantasy?? Sounds a bit dangerous to me!

Good thinking Natty, getting your new place ready is an extremely good use of his time!
