Hello everyone

Just wondering if anyone else is getting pain in their mid to upper back when having BH's??

JonahB · 20/05/2007 19:46

Twelveyeargap, £825.60??????????

...and I thought I had a wayward past.....

BefnalBub · 20/05/2007 19:47

hello! its too quiet on the other thread so am coming over here to wave labour flags and do some MKG type cheerleading (actually, don't have pom poms so instead imagine me bent double doing that red indian dancing in a circle we all used to do when we were about 5. don't have a feathery headress tho so am improvising with fingers. L is enjoying it and DP thinks (knows) I'm nuts)

gimme a 'B' BBBBBBB!
gimme an 'A' AAAAAAAAAA!
gimme a 'B' BBBBBBBBBB!
gimme a 'Y' YYYYYYYYY!

gimme some 'BABIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'

that should do it!

xx

GOD AM I EVER GOING TO HAVE THIS BABY

39 weeks tom.

Come on babies we want to meet you

Big congrats to all the lovely cherubic ones out there they are all so gorge could just eat them up.

InTheseShoes · 20/05/2007 20:19

Ha, Jonah, I was wondering if you'd beaten me to it too! (K's Mum told me not this afternoon over the fence though!) Been to the Italian restaurant on the canalfront tonight in an attempt to try and get baby to embarrass me by breaking my waters or something there - no luck. Do you think you get a lifetime's supply of Prawns PilPil or Key Lime Pie if you start off there, like getting vouchers in Marks??

Creena, you have the most gorgeous baby boy! I do think that May babies are the most beautiful I have seen!

Where's that pesky Lwatkins today, is she having the bebe?

scootermum · 20/05/2007 20:53

I will text her in a bit-got to go up the hill anyway to take a cake to my adopted old dear, who Ive neglected of late..she is 88 bless her and all alone...and she was burgled last week so said would call in and see her into bed..like a busmans holiday for me but I like to keep my skills level up whilst im off work

Nope, no episiotomy for me last time Jonah, just a huge suction cup shoved up and a consultant bellowing at me..Id been in labour 48 hours by then so Id no clue what the hell was going on to be honest..this time CANNOT be like that..nope, it will be like shelling peas..

Lovely DC's Abby and Creena..oh and our labour ward has the same dumbass rules..my friends DH missed his sons birth too-because the midwife refused to believe her when she said she thought the baby was coming..its outrageous in this day and age..

Love your cheer BB..Surely some babies will hear it and emerge--largegandt?TYG?Julie?MKG?
lol at DH's not wanting to go to work..my one says if baby hasnt come by Thurs he is not going in anyway as he will say Im in agony..he just wants an uninterrupted week off and a rest after his exams..

Glad little Jorja is doing so great Mrs JB-and Good luck with it tomorrow..is DH in hollering distance just in case?

Feel quite proud of self today-went to Tesco, Pets at home, Toys r Us, (hell on earth, more like!), took DD round the farm in Harlow town park, took her for a walk and made dinner..so DH got some good revision time in and DD had a nice afternoon-and all despite feeling as if my legs were attached to 50lb weights..am paying for it now though-feel as if I have been kicked in the crotch!

Off up hill now-might drive Its all of 500 yards..But its really steep..

MKG · 20/05/2007 21:14

I am not Weird LG&T. I am simply embracing my fate with a good attitude.

lulumama · 20/05/2007 21:18

i'd love to give birth again!

Sumsey · 20/05/2007 21:24

hello all

LG&T, due to really traumatic induction and emergency c.s i have asked not to be induced..which hospital are o.k with..but if bubba does not arrive by thursday then its off to the hospital i go for planned c.s on friday morning.

just have to cross my fingers in the meantime and hope..

Sumsey · 20/05/2007 21:26

oops forgot to mention i having a sweep on tuesday so fingers crossed for me all..

scootermum · 20/05/2007 21:54

Back now..Mrs Alice safely tucked up in bed with a Horlicks..as I am shortly to be..she is nearly 90 and I am 27, but whatever-I probably need my Horlicks more than her..

No reply from LWatkins whilst I was 'up top', so hope she is ok/in labour/in bed with her baby..

Keeping it all crossed for you Sumsey- and hoping for some babies in the night-not mine though-too, too tired tonight..

Turning in now, G'Night all..

cinnamontam · 20/05/2007 22:03

Mrsjaffabiffa · 20/05/2007 22:18

Yey for you tam, good luck, go with the flow and all that, listen to your body and breeeeeeath.

Wish I'd listened to my own advice last Wednesday instead of screaming the Hospital down.

twelveyeargap · 20/05/2007 22:41

Oh good luck Tam. Really excited for you - and Mars.

JonahB - I KNOW! Hehehe. Has anyone beaten me yet?

Lwatkins · 21/05/2007 01:05

Ello ello ello!

No I still haven't had baby! Still very much pregnant, bump is still very high up as well so I reakon I'm gonna be here for a while and go WAY past my due date which is only 4 days away My tits sit on top of my bump and I'm finding it hard to breathe, wish it would drop down a bit. Have been a good student and avioded mn to get my essay done - it's not been easy!

Scoot my lovely thank you for your txt and I'm sorry I didn't get back to you right away. As usual left my mobile in my bedroom all day and didn't bother checking it! Did txt you back eventually when I realised I had a message but am guessing you haven't got it if you need to be on your hill to get a signal

Have nearly finished my essay, woohoo! Only about 200 more words to write and some referencing to check and that should be me. Pheeeeew! Seeing midwife and doctor tommorrow, checked bp tonight with my dads machine thingy and it was a wee bit higher than usual - 135/90. Normally 120/70, but am guessing this is just because I'm carrying an elephant......? Also gonna get them to check out this itchy thing I've got going on. I really think there is something wrong with me - I'm tearing my skin off! My legs are covered in patches of dry blood and my tummy, ohhhhh! Mums threatened to tape oven mits round my hands if I don't stop scratching Think I've actually possibly permanantly scarred (sp) myself in places with scratching too hard.

Got majorly hormonal earlier with my sister and screamed my head of at her, poor love was a wee bit shocked and promptly burst into tears! But in my defence she was being a total madame throwing a mahooosive strop directed at me and I just snapped - rather aggresively. I actually kind of scared myslef lol, didn't think it was possible to feel rage quite like that She's been in a total paddy ever since and is now resorting to trying to steal my mums attention away from me at every oppertunity she gets. Eg. LW and mum talking, in walks Lw's sis completely interupts the convo, stands in front of me so I can no longer even see my mum, hugs my mum whilst smirking at me etc etc. Think she's attempting to make me feel jealous....... Think she's a bit insecure because mums so focused on me going into labour and she's all excited about meeting her grandchild, that sis is maybe feeling a bit threatened by it all.

Have talked far too much! Must get back to work. Will come and be a decent person tommorrow and catch up with everyone then

elkiedee · 21/05/2007 01:56

lwatkins - I also itched like mad and it's eased off since the birth (4 May, due 24 April), though I itch now remembering. hope things happen for you soon!
