3 are the biggest tossers of the lot!

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 11:23

When you move natty don't give them your new number! I never give companies my home phone number, especially those I owe money to!

NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 11:25

DP just said "you'd better get ready, you've got to pick DS2 up".

I am ready

LOL foxy, my dp says that to me all the time "oh, aren't you going to iron that?" is his favourite! Tosser!

I am really for you natty! It is lovely moving from a flat to a house, no more lugging buggies up stairs and having somewhere to hang out washing!

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 12:19

Weather is vile here. Feel like a sack of shite. Hate feeling like this. Hate looking like this. hate it hate it hate it.

Have no appetite, niggly pains, lathargic and spend last night sandwiched between a 2 yo and a 4 yo. 5 yo stayed in his own bed after waking me up an hour after I went to bed for a drink and a cuddle.

I don't mind them waking me up at night really, but I really, really need a good rest and I went to bed at 9.30. Jude came in at 10.30, Em and Billy 12.30am and spent rest of night trying to sleep between them. Couldn't turf B out because he never comes in to our bed.

DP slept in E's room and had a fabulous nights sleep. He's now gone off for a boozy work lunch. But he did do the kids this morning, brought me tea in bed and got me a bacon butty on way back from school run. so he's not in bad books, until later when he's pissed, obviously.

Sorry for the rant.

Hello lovely June ladies, just crashing in from May thread still no baby for me am sure I will be joining you lot.

Isn't it bloody horrid outside today think I will just allow myself to lie on the sofa all day and MN.

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 12:34

Hello Juliewoolie

BadZelda · 14/05/2007 12:42

Thanks for that Holly - I may well take you up on it! 5 calls and an email later I have got them to refund £72...they might refund the rest when they've processed the email (within 3 working days)....bloody annoying how hard it was to get them to admit they're in the wrong though! And rather embarassed I resorted to throwing said phone around the house...actually may have stumbled onto something: didn't get ANYWHERE until I phoned them from a landline? Is that my imagination?

Hurrah for your house Natty! We should have a whip round to get you connected - though probably would still take months given the state of most ISPs ;(

Just had another person tell me I'm having a boy based on shape of bump...hope baby doesn't mind wearing girlie clothes and being called Matilda, as Ella has decided she's getting a baby sister no matter what!

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 12:47

God I hate things like that! I spend so much of my life wasting time getting crappy things like that done! Bet you've wasted your entire morning on it, and pushed your blood pressure up too. Grrrr!

BadZelda · 14/05/2007 12:52

Probably did. Baby was kicking the shit out of me at one point, almost def. because I'd let myself get so stressed. Am a bit concerned actually as I've been seeing stars (not today but yesterday) which isn't a good sign r.e. BP? Haven't got a MW appt for nearly 3 weeks though...despite MW telling me last time to come back within a couple of weeks there were no appointments for over a month as she's only there for 3 hours a week! Ah wonderful lambeth Ante Natal services again. Guess I could go down to hospital and waste the rest of my day hanging around there, but that would probably just drive my blood pressure up to danger level!

notsolilKel · 14/05/2007 13:27

OMG. Just been bawling my eyes out after watching clip of Jeremy Kyle visiting Kenyan orphanage and this tiny, wee little girl curled up to him with the most sad looking face and teeny weeny legs and arms, holding on for dear life just because she needed someone to cuddle....oh dear oh dear....can just about imagine how Angelina Jolie can't resist rescuing these poor things.

on another note, found this from SOH for those interested the full announcement

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 13:38

But Jeremy Kyle? Put it down to the hormones LilKel

notsolilKel · 14/05/2007 13:41

yeah i know - but in my defense it was part of Loose Women, he was interviewed by them - is that a defense actually?

anyway

so the M&P chest of drawers/changing table arrived (finally) but they aren't assembling it for me! GAH! Another project for my anti-DIY-DH! Or can I do it myself while DS naps?

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 13:42

Bless SOH and her hideous labour!!

Lilkel I just cried at Tikkabilla, it doesn't get much worse than that! There was a tiny baby and her big sister went to meet her at hospital. It was so lovely and made me well up! I am just a big, tired, fat, sore, bored, hormonal mess! At least dp is home today so I am not lonely as well!!

BZ I'm glad I don't live in London, the care sounds bloody awful! My mw works every thurs afternoon and I can phone on wed and get an appt for the next day, which is great for me coz I always forget to make appts! Glad you got some money back, now they've admitted it is partially their fault they should accept responsibility for the rest!

Rant away foxy! Alice woke at 3.30 this morning, I took her into bed with me and she then spent the next hour playing with my hair, which was lovely, but not great when you are trying to sleep! Hope you are feeling better xxx

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 13:45

Oh Oh Oh, my friend has just had a baby girl (she has 2 boys already) by C-section. 8.13. How exciting! Am peeing my pants in excitement!

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 13:49

That's great foxy!! Are you going to see her in hosp? I bet you cry at the tiny little baby!!! At least you are not peeing your pants because you sneezed or laughed or generally moved!

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 13:53

Its a bit scary because she's been my 'buffer'. Now she's had hers, I'm next. Yikes!

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 13:58

{http://www.mumsnet.com/Talk?topicid=1365&threadid=322966\This} thread looks very intersting! Poor lady though, she sounds exhausted!

That's a bit scary for you foxy! I can't believe sometimes how close we all are!

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 13:59

Oh I am a cretin Here
