Hello to you all on first day of mat leave! hurrah! (BZ) you can be on honororary mat leave as you are meant to be working!

Loving all those names - esp Jude as I have one of those already!

Next friday? OMG!

One of my closest friends is going under the knife as we speak to have her 3rd! Am so excited!

Yay! Housewarming party at Natty's!

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/05/2007 10:20

Congrats Natty .

We are going to view a house tonight. Not quite in as much need as you were though. Just thinking that a one (small) bedroom flat, 2 floors up, no garden not really the best for bringing baby home to.

NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 10:22

lol, housewarming u kidding? so ive got to move, give birth AND arrange a party in the space of 2 weeks.... well they dont call us supermums for no reason!

Fuck! Have just discovered that I've been charged over £170 for 'wap services' on my phone...which to my knowledge I've never used? Going back through my bills I've just noticed that there's been extra charges EVERY month...about a fiver...but for some reason on the 12th April it charged me £121.04?
T-Mobile claim that I'm liable for this charge, because I hadn't disabled WAP on my phone...any ideas????? I am SOO angry about this!

daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:23

Bumper....just made an ante-natal appoinment and the only one I could get was 10:30 on Friday!!!

I can jump in the car and drive which will be just as quick for me as getting the train, so can be there by about 11:45 (traffic allowing) if that's not too late?

daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:24

Oh...Big Congrats Natty...when's the big move?

foxybrown · 14/05/2007 10:27

Yea Natty! Fantastic news. When can you move?

BadZelda, that sucks. Am very for you. Its just not reasonable and takes the piss.

Go though all your paperwork for the contract and find where it says you must disable it.
And write to the Guardians Money section on saturday.

daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:30

And how is the breathing this morning Natty...are you going to go see the doc?

BadZ...keep on at your mobile phone provider...phone numbers can be cloned, so if that's what's happened someone could be running up a bill on your account. If your other bills show that you've never ever used the service, then it doesn't make sense that you would suddenly run up £120 in one month. Have you got mobile phone insurance? and if so is this sort of thing covered?

bumperlicious · 14/05/2007 10:31

No hurry daisy, we can make it later if you want. Just say what is a good time for you and I'll find a train. Don't want you rushing around or stressing about being late!

fatcatkin · 14/05/2007 10:34

Natty, that's fab about our house - i'm so pleased for you!!
for you BZ - am liking Foxy's suggestions!

fatcatkin · 14/05/2007 10:38

I'm liking everyones name lists too!

My friend's baby is called Edward and it's a great name. I also love William.

Actually, Bumper, I dreamt last night that you were the first to pop and that you had a little boy and called him Rory!!

NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 10:39

big move will be 23rd fingers crossed. latest 26 thats when DH starts paternity leave. we are spending every last penny we have and paying no bills, living of tax credits for a month to do this. but i have a house

Grin
daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:40

Bumper, if we said 11:30 or thereabouts then and I'll e-mail more details (feeling paranoid about who's "listening") and I've got your number if I'm running late at all.

I'll e-mail Doggus and see if she's available to join us (family commitments allowing) as her mum is up this way too!

Has anyone had any experience of the Wilkinet baby carrier ...it looks like a good compromise between a sling and a carrier and gets good endorsements form backcare professionals and is recommended by the NCT...it does look a bit fiddly though

TALLULAHBELLE · 14/05/2007 10:40

That sucks BZ!

Hire car just arrived. Am off to Tesco to do massive shop. Have developed seige mentality after reading about everyone filling their freezers. Am about to buy a ton of bog roll and loads of tins of Heinz tomato soup in case i never leave the house again.

hollyandalice · 14/05/2007 10:40

Well done natty!! That's fab, I bet you feel sooo much better now! Don't overdo it with the packing though!

DKMA Edward was our other name. Dp is refusing to consider any name that is not "normal" or "English" as he has such a daft name! We have an Alice so William and Edward fit really well and dp's surname is quite posh and very English so they fit well with that too.

BZ I may be able to help you. I used to work in mobile phones and my dp used to work for t-mobile. What exactly have they charged you for? If you want to email me my email is my mn name at hotmail.co.uk.

bumperlicious · 14/05/2007 10:41

LOL catkin!

Glad I'm not the only one who dreams about MN!

This may sound really weird though, but when I think of you all I never think of you as being pg. Weird huh? I know that I am sat on the sofa like a beached whale but don't imagine the rest are!

daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:42

Had an interesting evening last night....BHs stepped up a notch again and at one point I was having reasonably painful ones at about 20 min intervals....I thought it was game on, and considered packing my hospital bag, but took some co-codamol and it all settled down again....I think this is just going to run and run.....and I'll still be here at 42 weeks!

NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 10:43

oh and breathing better this morning thanks for asking makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing u guys care

OP posts:
NattyThomasandEllen · 14/05/2007 10:45

i keep thinking its game on and then thinking no im not ready i have to move! and they stop.. u think im mentally stopping labour ??

OP posts:
daisybump · 14/05/2007 10:45

LOL Bumper....so you'll be looking out for non-pg ladies at the station on Friday.....just to reassure you, I'm very much in the beached whale camp myself....well actually more weeble like as I'm only 5'2"
