Sorry Milk but that did make me snort. I was very lucky with DD and had no symptoms. No sickness, no bloat. Great hair, trim all over except giant bump - you would never have known I was pregnant. I did develop polyhydramnios but all that did was make the bump bigger. I sailed through without a care. 3 sodding miscarriages before this one has turned me into a wreck though and it has been 3.5 weeks since my last scan, which is why I am missing my symptoms. Tomorrow cannot come soon enough.

Sooz I'm thinking of you.

SoozC · 15/05/2018 18:43

I think I need to chill - today's scan was fine (I could become addicted to seeing that heartbeat!). I'd managed to work myself up into thinking I'd had a mc and felt a bit foolish today at the scan. But all is well, nearly doubled in size since last week!

NimbleKnitter · 15/05/2018 18:53

🙌

Been checking hourly to see how you're doing. So so pleased!

SoozC · 15/05/2018 19:28

Thanks, Nimble! I'm pleased as punch, though felt a bit foolish being there and wasting people's time (the nurse said I did the right thing though). But I did love seeing that heartbeat! x

Glad all is ok @SoozC

I can't wait for my scan on Saturday, I'm so anxious this time round.

NimbleKnitter · 15/05/2018 22:56

Ain't nothing foolish about bleeding.

You bleed - you go in

LimpLettice · 16/05/2018 11:56

Dating scan done, thank christ. Baby was really awkward so had a 45 minute scan while they tried to do all the measurements, which was lovely. Nuchal measurements look fine, although I am automatically high risk at over 40, so have to wait for bloods. Dates jumped forward a bit putting me at over 13 weeks - so baby is a nice size and all looks ok. I feel SO much better than before - we have decided to make a really big effort to put the past behind us now and just assume the best.

SoozC · 16/05/2018 12:36

Yay, Limp! Glad it all went well, you must be feeling relieved to have got this far.

LimpLettice · 16/05/2018 12:58

So relieved, Sooz. I am so pleased we have made it this far, but I wouldnt wish the last year on anyone. and I am not sure i would push so hard again through all the heartache. Just got to keep positive now. DH (feels weird typing that!) has booked a gender scan for 17 weeks, so not too long til the next one - it doesnt change anything but they do make me feel better, at least until I feel some movement. I have had what feels like a few flutters but it is probably wind :)

Going to take DD to the sexing scan as I want her to be able to ignore our doom and feel excited now.

I'm booked in! Feel official, I have a blue folder and everything. I'm ridiculously proud; never got one last time and always looked jealously at the women walking around with theirs at the hospital. Hurrah! 7+5 though, long way to go!

Hope everyone else is okay.

Summer1986 · 22/05/2018 13:12

Fab news on your scan @Limp.
Congratulations on booking in @Sooz.
I have now finished work, it feels very indulgent having 6w off before baby is due but I have holiday to use and as I plan to take a year of mat leave I will have accrued another years entitlement.
How is everyone doing?

LimpLettice · 22/05/2018 13:23

Hiya Summer, sounds lovely. I'll be taking 10 months this time but waiting as late as possible to try and be off next 6 weeks hols with DD.

Doing good. Bump has popped a good un, even at 14 weeks as I have a split abdo from DD. No hiding it now. It's fucking brilliant in the summer. I'm not fat in this dress, I'm pregnant Grin I'm having a few flutters already which is early but again I think coz my guts are ruined.

Exhaustion is still a killer but off on honeymoon for some rest in a couple of days. They told me I'd hear my risk factor for trisomies within a week which is tomorrow, heard nothing yet despite being an auto 1:150 as a geriatric.

Oooh Sooz! A folder and everything! Mine is green, and I have actual notes in it now which feels good.

Si1ver · 25/05/2018 08:29

Hi all, can't quite believe it - but it looks like my IVF has worked and I'm coming to join you. I've never had such blazingly positive tests before.

My first scan will be in two weeks to check the placement and I think I'll wait until then to book in with the midwife.

DoAsDreamersDo · 25/05/2018 09:13

@Si1ver I am so glad that you are here!!! How exciting x

RhiBee29 · 25/05/2018 09:27

Congratulations @Si1ver so pleased for you x

Summer1986 · 25/05/2018 15:24

Congratulations @si1ver

SoozC · 25/05/2018 17:45

Yay, Si1ver!!! I was hoping you'd head over here! I'm so pleased your IVF has been successful. Fingers crossed for you!

Nothing new with me. Not had bleeding for about 10 days so very pleased with that. My symptoms are not massive; increased cm, some backache, sometimes feeling a bit nauseous in the morning or not wanting to finish dinner, craving salty stuff (mmm... Ritz crackers!), slightly sore boobs at night. I know I should think myself lucky but it does worry me! Scan on Tuesday morning.

DoAsDreamersDo · 25/05/2018 19:15

I’m 12 weeks today and my morning sickness has been getting worse all week. I’ve really struggled with work and I’m really hoping for good news at my dating scan on Tuesday so that I can tell my colleagues! My nausea hasn’t affected my appetite this week though because I can’t seem to stop snacking. I’ve just had to cut myself a big block of cheese to eat for no reason whatsoever 🐷

NimbleKnitter · 25/05/2018 22:15

Whoop! Congrats silver!

Si1ver · 25/05/2018 22:32

Thanks guys 😍. I'm so pleased to see you all.

RhiBee29 · 27/05/2018 08:09

Morning all! I'm now 18wks and still doubting this pregnancy 🤰 I know its crazy, I've had three scans and been told baby has a strong 145bpm heartbeat. I don't have a big bump, more podge but I was size 14, I also have an anterior placenta so I haven't felt movement or I have and dismissed it as gas. I bought a pack of muslin cloths yesterday, first thing I've bought, and now feel like I've jinxed myself. Anyone else feel like this? How can I reassure myself and relax?

NimbleKnitter · 27/05/2018 09:00

You won't. Sorry.

As soon as you get comfortable about one thing, you'll start worrying about another.

The anomaly scan might make you relax for maybe a week or so. But similarly it might just give you other things to stress about.

Sorry. Think it's just the nature of the beast
