Any ladies over here in the pregnancy boards from the ttc yammer board want to join Me?

I'm 4 weeks and just got my bfp yesterday and have my fx for a sticky bean x

Oh definitely, Limp, let's do a bump compare in the summer! At the moment it's all bloat (and fat!).

SoozC · 01/05/2018 21:09

Oh, and I went to my acupuncturist today. She was so happy for me, and surprised, she couldn't believe it! She's treated loads of pregnant women in her 20 years of practicing, including those who've had multiple losses. I'm going to see her weekly during the first trimester, but she'll take my pulses and if it seems fine then I can just leave. Very reassuring to know she's doing a little bit to help look after things!

I was never into homeopathic remedies but I'm a fan of acupuncture now. It took us 20 cycles to get the first bfp and then 6 months after the mc, after seeing her for just 2 whole cycles, I got another one. I'm convinced it did something to help, even if it was just relaxing me!

NimbleKnitter · 01/05/2018 22:00

I got my positive after starting acupuncture too!

I'm not sure if it was coincidence or not, but given a do-over I'd definitely do it again

SoozC · 01/05/2018 22:05

Likewise, Nimble!

I just bought myself a maternity dress from Next for £15 because it's lovely and it said 'low stock' and I wanted it for the summer! I can't believe I just did that, I'd better bloody get a chance to wear it this year!

I'm looking forward to wearing maternity clothes! My trousers and jeans are already feeling a bit uncomfortable, so I think dresses will be the way forward.

polkadotpixie · 02/05/2018 13:21

Hi ladies. I wasn't on the Yammers threads for very long but I still follow it as I want to see everyone get their BFPs 😊

We TTC for a year and this is our first baby. Never had a hint of a BFP then had a HSG as part of the pre-IVF referral tests and boom!

I'm 20+1 now and we're having a boy! I suffered a lot with nausea and sickness for the first 16 weeks but although it's still there, it has eased off a reasonable amount now thankfully!

Lovely to see so many people on the other side and hopefully more to come 😊

LimpLettice · 04/05/2018 07:19

I'm also a bit tempted by maternity stuff already but trying to hold out. I have a bit of diastasis recti (split stomach) from DD so already got a bit of a bump at 11 weeks, and finding trousers a bit much by late afternoon. Just can't quite click on buy in case I'm tempting bloody fate.

Last day of singledom for me today ladies. Eeeek. Let's hope the dress holds out over my lumpy bits Grin

Limp! Can't believe it's finally come around! Hope you have a fab day, looks like you've got the weather for it!

Milk, they refunded me and said they had no stock! :( So no mat clothes for me yet.

DoAsDreamersDo · 04/05/2018 14:30

Limp I’m so excited for you. I wish you the best day ever xx

RhiBee29 · 04/05/2018 18:37

Hope tomorrow is super fantastic for you @LimpLettice

I succumbed to mat clothes today...it's heavenly!

LimpLettice · 06/05/2018 00:44

Hi yammer grads. I've had the most wonderful day. Good job I'm sensitive on the sex front at the minute as my lovely new husband is snoring tipsily next to me like an express train. I'm taking a quiet moment to relax with the cats and growing bump and reflect on the fact that I'm glad I got to do this sober. Wow, a grown up at last haha. Pix on the fb thread if anyone's interested Grin

SoozC · 06/05/2018 07:55

So pleased for you, Limp! My wedding day was the best day ever, I'm glad yours was too. And you look beautiful in those photos! x

LG93 · 06/05/2018 08:23

Hi all,I'm very very tentatively checking in. I tested early to satisfy my needs to pee on a stick and incredibly it was positive. By my calculations not even 4 weeks yet - due 17 January.

Still doesn't feel real - kind of just waiting for something to go wrong. Only had 2 acupuncture sessions before I got the bfp so not sure if it's coincidence or if it actually worked!

Nice to see some familiar faces - I'm glad you had a lovely wedding sooz!!

Hi yammer grads! Nice to see everyone on here. How far gone is everyone Now?

I'm 9weeks

NimbleKnitter · 11/05/2018 18:45

29+5 and feeling every day of it (which is impossible, because trey first 3-ish weeks I wasn't even pregnant)

Summer1986 · 11/05/2018 19:03

32+4, my feet are really puffy and I'm tired due to disturbed sleep from horrible dreams but otherwise Ok! Xx

SoozC · 11/05/2018 19:53

I'm 6+5. Having some light bleeding but scan Tuesday showed a heartbeat! Totally paranoid now though I'll mc again, wishing the days would go a bit faster. I'd love to get to my 12-week scan, think I'll be able to relax a bit more then.

RhiBee29 · 11/05/2018 20:36

15+5 not feeling very pregnant, all nausea has gone and just very pudgy. Wishing the weeks away until 20wk scan.

Got everything crossed for you @SoozC

LimpLettice · 14/05/2018 12:50

I'm not feeling very pg at the minute either. 12.5 weeks now, scan on Wednesday. Sickness and every thing has gone, although still a bit of breast tenderness. Feel like I am wishing my life away....

SoozC · 14/05/2018 16:29

Same here, just not sure I'm preggers. Trying to get another scan, if the bloomin' emergency doc would call me back. I'm just so worried I miscarried already and just haven't bled much yet. Sad

lanzlucy · 14/05/2018 20:23

If it's any comfort I'm now 19 weeks and have never, and still don't, feel pregnant. If it wasn't for the beer belly I seem to be developing I would be questioning everything. Got 20 week scan on Thursday so hoping I'll get good news and be able to relax after that. Hope the scan goes well on Wednesday @LimpLettice and you get something booked in for reassurance @SoozC
