@BunBunMum @NoCatsHere. I know what you mean! I’m only 6+2 and time is going soooooo slowly.

@TheImprobableGirl @Sarahhh1984 Congrats on your scans! Great news! Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 06/04/2018 18:26

I'm eating crap, it keeps the sickness away! I'm going to end up giving birth to a pizza or a sandwich at this rate. Have gained 2lbs so far - but I'm quite overweight anyhow, BMI is like 34 or something (Size 14 but very short) So I can't put on too much in pregnancy!

moomoo85 · 06/04/2018 19:03

@BunBunMum I know the feeling. I am much earlier in this group (8+4 today) but when I was pregnant with my first I was due on the last day of the month and ended up being 10 days late. I was the last person to deliver on my mn group by over a week!

@GiveMummyTheWhizzer I have a horrible taste in my mouth too :(

NoCatsHere · 06/04/2018 19:21

wejammin and greenmeerkat yep I’m 6+4 and ok in the morning but after dinner and by the evening I’m huge, looking at least 12 weeks. I’m skinny with no boobs which doesn’t help, there’s no where to hide. I can’t belive I’m going to hide this for another 6 weeks....

AiredaleFan · 06/04/2018 19:54

Joining this thread as I'm due on 22 Nov. Had a scan on Tuesday and all good, could see the little heart pumping away. Excited that my daughter is going to have a sibling, especially as me and my husband are in our 40s.

Lovely to hear everyone's progress. I've had a bit of nausea but my main symptoms that I never know what I want to eat even when I'm really hungry. Happened last pregnancy too, so my husband just makes something and sticks it in front of me, I then realise it's exactly what I want and wolf it down like I've not eaten in a week.

marchblossom · 06/04/2018 20:07

@wejammin @GreenMeerkat @TheImprobableGirl et al third baby over here too and have such a bump already!! We're off on hols next week and I don't know how I'm going to get away with swimwear! Going to have the tell the kids I think. I'm quite slim and have very small (but ever growing Grin) boobs, so it realllly shows BlushConfused

marchblossom · 06/04/2018 20:09

It's definitely a carb baby right now though. I am so bloated but can't stop eating all the crap ! I've put on about 2 kg already Sad

marchblossom · 06/04/2018 20:10

@AiredaleFan welcome and congrats!

OlderMumToBe2018 · 06/04/2018 20:26

Hello all, late entry to this group if I'm welcome? Due around 20th November, so around 7 weeks now.

I've been keeping very quiet about pregnancy for a few reasons, and hoping to wait as long as possible to announce, but considering it's my third, and already showing, it won't be a secret for long!

Feeling like shit , absolutely shattered, boobs feel like they're on fire and I could chucky most mornings but haven't actually spewed yet.

Wishing you all well and looking forward to reading through the thread.

MrsFTigalar · 06/04/2018 20:29

Hello @Airedalefan & welcome

@TheImprobableGirl @Sarahhh1984 Congrats on your scans! Great news

The first trimester is sooo long I swear. After my massive, woe is me post the other day I had a bit of a meltdown. I had a couple of MCs in the 2 years or so it's taken to conceive and I think my hormones tipped me over the edge. I spoke to the GP and I'm booked in with the Early pregnancy unit next week.

I'm doing the hairband trick on my jeans already 😳

MiniMinions · 06/04/2018 21:14

@TheImprobableGirl great news re your scan today 😀

@sarahhh1984 Lovely picture!!

Welcome @AiredaleFan and @OlderMumToBe2018

@MrsFTigalar I wonder if why it feels so long is that you tend to be secretive about it and counting the days until the dating scan - which is taking forever!!!

My due date has shifted by one day to the 6th so will see what the scan says in 2.5weeks time! Can't wait!

I am feeling fairly uncomfortable in the mid torso mainly at night so am not looking forward to when have the bump and can't wriggle as much/lay on back too long stretching out! Sometimes my tummy pouch (fat roll/c section pouch remains) feels firm and other times squidgy!!

Also those who like me ended up with EMCS last time or a CS elective of you touch area around that bit of tummy do you still have numbish like feeling like if have if dead arm type feeling (not sure how else to explain). DS is nearly 3 and still got the numb like feelings when touch so am assuming it's nerves joining etc.

Have also started worrying about if things didn't heal right inside from CS etc! Dunno why suddenly wondering this!!!

LastNightsMakeUp · 06/04/2018 21:29

@MiniMinions 20 months post section and still have numbness from my scar to a couple of inches above it, it's seems to have got better the past few months, I couldn't even bare to touch there before as felt so odd! Apparently touching and massaging the area is meant to improve the numb feeling. I'm also in the #csectionpouchclub delightful isn't it!?!

TheImprobableGirl · 06/04/2018 21:34

I never had the C-Section pouch, as no C-Section... But I do have a rather attractive started-pregnancy-at-21-and-a-size-6-and-put-on-5.5-stone pouch? It also feels numb. The girls are delighted in the fact they can pinch me hard and I can't feel it Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 06/04/2018 21:35

that was 5.5 stone in one pregnancy btw.... pretty good going! Dd was an enormous 6lb 2oz. Couldn't even blame her Grin

LastNightsMakeUp · 06/04/2018 21:39

@TheImprobableGirl I had 3 stone to lose after my dd.... I'm sure that contributed to the pouch! But even when I lost it it was still there 😪 I really need to stay more active and eat better this time! I had horrible ms last time and have barely had any this time so hopefully will be easily not to gorge on rubbish! 🤞

MiniMinions · 06/04/2018 21:41

@LastNightsMakeUp and @TheImprobableGirl that is reassuring that not just me with the numbness then! Mine was a fat roll (or tyre as my mum used to say hehe) which then has never shrunk since CS. Makes buying trousers annoying as ends up being too big at waist as have to size up to be able to do zip over pouch area!!

LastNightsMakeUp · 06/04/2018 21:42

@MiniMinions I'm all about the control pants these days!

OlderMumToBe2018 · 06/04/2018 22:41

Not sure how to tag people yet, hopefully figure out soon! I put on a bit of weight after a laparoscopy in October for endometriosis. Prior to that I as working out at the gym. Feel like I should have got back into exercise long ago, but after the lap was Christmas, and before I knew it, here we are! Hoping to hide behind my pouch for a while, and did a huge Primark shop today for flowy, patterned tops to go with oversized blazers and trousers. Not finished probation period at work until July...

TheImprobableGirl · 06/04/2018 23:33

Oh gosh @oldermumtobe2018 , so you have to hide it til then? (by the way its an '@' then the username which tags people :) )
I am not even able to hide the paunch at the moment, I look at least 4-6 months gone, im just hoping that it doesn't carry on at this rate Shock

TinyPawz · 07/04/2018 04:25

11 years post elcs and almost all feeling has returned. Only the scar itself feel odds. I'm a big girl though so I presume that has contributed to that. Not sure when the feeling returned.

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 07/04/2018 07:44

@moomoo85 it's odd isn't it! Tastes foul. I hope it goes away soon.

Who was it that was talking about Fitbit heart rate? Mine has gone back down to normal now; maybe it was all the stress of FIL death/funeral that was increasing it for me 🤷🏻‍♀️

Off to the gym in a couple hours.... must say the gym is finishing me off energy wise. But midwife was also very encouraging and enthusiastic about just carrying on as normal. She said to just carry on 4 times a week classes as long as I can and I try and do a short walk the other days. How am I still so heavy!! Grin it must be the cheese! Haha....

mrsmistergav · 07/04/2018 07:47

So happy today as I reached further than my last pregnancy. Feeling totally different with this one. I was so ill with the last one but this time round apart from constant nausea and tiredness I am feeling great. So nice to see the good news from yesterday. Wishing you all a peaceful weekend.

GreenMeerkat · 07/04/2018 08:05

@GiveMummyTheWhizzer wow, how are you managing that?!

I used to go to the gym 3/4 times a week before pregnancy but haven't managed since about 6 weeks. I'm so ill with ms and so unbelievably tired! Well done for keeping it up!!

Potkettleblack2 · 07/04/2018 08:10

Baby #3 here too and I am huge. I can't stop eating though, and have stopped moving! My jeans are well past the elastic band trick. I know it's a carb belly, and I am cross with myself but I can't stop eating!!!!

GiveMummyTheWhizzer · 07/04/2018 08:16

@GreenMeerkat with great difficulty! Had to have a week off it last week as felt so rotten.

I have to keep going as long as I possibly can because, having lost so much weight in the last few years, what's frightening and stressing me out the most is the thought of putting loads of weight on and being huge again. I did make the midwife aware of this so she will keep an eye. I've just worked so hard and it upsets me the thought of it going back on!
