Yes, but I think they are all pretty twunty sometimes! I think I'm a bit of a moany cow sometimes too, so I suppose it works both ways!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:14

oh holly NEVER admit that to him NEVER NEVER NEVER!!!!!!!!!

Mine still just doesn't get it. Stroppy pg woman = scared and insecure pg woman needing cuddle.

He thinks stroppy pg woman.....why did I marry this harpie?

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:17

Oh, don't worry derlor, I won't!!

I'm sure he understands really daisy and doesn't think you're a harpie!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:17

change of subject - just remembering that my MW told me today that i should be prepared for this baby to be born any time from Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:18

I have to ask for cuddles sometimes, they don't really understand exactly when you need one! Men are pretty simple I think! Bless them!

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:19

OMG! Any time from monday???!!!! WTF! Why did she say that? Does she have psychic baby mind reading abilities?!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:20

sorry...big moan and rant alert.

When I phoned him the other week to tell him I was going to the hospital he was all...."I'll leave straight away". I told him to wait until they'd examined me first and I'd let him know what was up as soon as. when I phoned him two hours later, sore and scared and clearly upset asking him to come home, he was like "well...mmm...I've got to get X finished...mmm" his first response was becuase it was the thing he felt he was expected to say, not becuase he actually meant it. I think he leaves here on a Monday morning and then doesn't give DS or I a second thought until he leaves to drive back on a Friday....it's all about his bloody job.

OK...rant over....sorry again

daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:21

How could you forget something like that Derlor....Monday? that's like five days away?

Why'd she say that then?

BadZelda · 09/05/2007 22:21

Yep - spying on the May thread has def. brought home the fact that we're next...funny one of the spreadbetters proposed opening a book today on whether I'd pop before his wife (due 5 days before me)...Apparently I'm 'much bigger' than her. Charming! Considered demonstrating that I can STILL kick someone in the face without rupturing anything, but the possibility of litigation stopped me at the last minute. [hmmm]

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:22

i'm 37 weeks on monday so according to her length of natural pg is between 37 and 42 weeks depending on the woman!!!!

OP posts:
derlor · 09/05/2007 22:24

ok so i didn't actually forget that she said that i've just been in denial since 0915 this morning when she said it!!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:25

That's really scary derlor! Can't believe you are nearly 37 weeks already! I wonder if you'll be the first then! How exciting!

Daisy (((HUGS))).

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:26

Daisy thats crap they just don't get it do they??????
BZ ROFL at your litigation comment

OP posts:
derlor · 09/05/2007 22:28

oh probably not Holly - watch me be the one to go 2 weeks late

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:30

I'll prob be 2 weeks late as well, I was with my dd, although there is a lot more action going on this time, so fingers crossed. Going overdue is hellish!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:34

Derlor...were your other two pre 40 weeks? My MW was saying that second babies are usually quicker and closer to dates than firsts, but that No 3s are always the really unpredictable ones?

LOL BadZ at your attempted high kicking...I can't even get up off the floor without feeling that something is going to rupture.

Where's the Fox tonight? I hope she's OK too as she's been a bit crampy and sore as well....but with a few more weeks to go than some of us.

Thanks for the hugs.....I think things just seem much worse than they actually are...sleep deprivation does that .

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:34

yeah i've always thought you should be given a 4 week period of when your baby could be born instead of an actual date - less cruel.

OP posts:
derlor · 09/05/2007 22:36

DS was 11 days early, DD was 4 hours late so that blows that theory right out of the water MW don't half talk some shite huh

OP posts:
daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:37

I went 10 days with DS before they induced me, but my cervical score was pretty poor so I wasn't really ready for it....maybe why I ended up with a section?

The thought of having to endure up to another 6.5 weeks of this is intolerable though. Bring it on I say...I'm ready now!!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:37

oh i've just re read your post and think that it is me that is talking shite cause actually that is right then ddoouuhhhhh!!!! muppet of the day award goes to ME!!!

OP posts:
daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:38

Apparently Llamas can decide for themselves when they deliver....they don't like doing it in the rain so hold off till its dry again...apparently!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:39

Daisy, HTF do you know that?????????

OP posts:
daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:43

Doesn't everyone???

A friend told me that today...some people are just mines of useless, but interesting, information

daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:45

righty ho...off to bed hoping for a decent sleep this time.

Hope your night isn't too disturbed with feverish sweaty DCs Derlor.
