NT&E surely your pretty bump will help your cause Good luck for tomorrow honey!

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/05/2007 21:26

would need that tattooed on my arse to stop DH rolling over and poking my back with his "morning glory"

derlor · 09/05/2007 21:27

Natty best of luck - don't be afraid to cry if you feel like you are not getting anywhere - especially if it's a man you see - they HATE tearful women
what time is your appt?

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/05/2007 21:27

TMI i think anyone else have a DH/DP who does this?

riabutterflew · 09/05/2007 21:29

NT&E - good luck for tomorrow.
Hope all goes well for doggus too.
derlor, hope your DD feeling better soon.

I will have to stop asking dumb questions re labour (after all "I've had a baby before, it will be much like that" - I have a horrible feeling my sister works with the consultants senior and she might tell him... Made me laugh anyway).

Isn't June-baiting an illegal blood sport?

I am very tired tonight - had forgotten how much sitting down watching sci-fi a poorly man could do in one day. Also how much high-spirited children irritate poorly men... We did have a nice "walk" (he was limping with the tens wires hanging out of his jeans! I was waddling!) on the beach after school.

Still feel like I might burst. I'm sure I'll notice I'm in labour ven if my waters don't go first (it was just quite spectacular last time...).

Am off for a bit now. Need a comfy chair. Will check in before bed I expect as I can't bear to miss anything!

riabutterflew · 09/05/2007 21:30

NT&E - YES! Bloody annoying if you ask me. (TMI ) All the bloody time as if it's my fault...

riabutterflew · 09/05/2007 21:31

Don't think they can read with that eye

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/05/2007 21:32

dont know time, i cant find the letter, will have to ring them tomorrow VV early lmao

BadZelda · 09/05/2007 21:33

God how knackered am I now? Definitely struggled with work today...thank f* I don't have to be in an office any more. Ironically I'll probably be working twice as hard at home for the next 2 weeks, but it will feel about one twentieth as stressful and uncomfortable so I don't care!

Sorry to hear about sick kiddies...it's sooo stressful and not what you need on top of being pregnant too - sending get well vibes now.

NattyThomasandEllen · 09/05/2007 21:33

PMSL ria!!

BadZelda · 09/05/2007 21:39

DH is lining our curtains with blackout material and has just informed me 'this handycraft malarky is a piece of piss"....ah he has progressed so far from the man who had to be shown how to sew a button on properly. I am proud of him

derlor · 09/05/2007 21:43

i'm WELL impressed BZ - i've just put the curtains for the baby's room into a wee sewing lady to do that very same job for me - she charging me £20 - could be a nice wee sideline for your DH?????????

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 21:43

Hope your housing appt goes well nt&e and yes my dp does that, the twunt!

Ria, they should outlaw june baiting, it's just mean to torment pg women!

BZ well done to your dh! I wish mine would sew, apparently it's for chicks!

derlor · 09/05/2007 21:45

is that thread STILL going???

lets all report it
emotional distress to us is very serious at this stage of pg!!!!!!!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 21:51

I think it's stopped, the op didn't get much of a response!

derlor · 09/05/2007 21:56

i should think not - silly woman

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 21:57

I'm sure she did it just to get a response. We are clearly bigger people than her and were able to rise above it!

BadZelda · 09/05/2007 21:59

warning start of soppy moment......

Ah at the risk of sounding smug if I could find a way of cloning him I would make BILLIONS. He is the most wonderful husband I could have found (call me forward, but I proposed marriage on our second meeting). It's our anniversary tomorrow: can't believe 4 years have passed so quickly...hopefully many more to come.

End of soppy moment----

Normal service will be resumed now!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:02

aaaahhh BZ that is lovely - i feel the same about mine and we have been together since we were 19 - have been married for 11 years in August (not in gods eyes though obviously!!!!)

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:03

Awww bless BZ! My dp is pretty wonderful as well, I do slag him off, but I love him and his strange ways! Look you've made me go all soppy now too!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:04

warning warning - we may just get banished from this thread!!!!!

OP posts:
hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:04

I think we need that sick emoticon now!!

daisybump · 09/05/2007 22:09

You leave the room for one measly hour and you've gone all soppy and emotional....WTF???? Pregnant women..pah

Finding it difficult to get soppy and emotional about my DH at the moment...well the soppy bit anyway, he stirs up plenty of emotion!!

He's not all bad, he just needs prodding in the right direction sometimes, and he has had to put up with an emotional bampot for the last 9 mo. I just wish he'd learned to recognise the signs and come straight in for the cuddle rather than getting all arsey with me...but nooo...

hollyandalice · 09/05/2007 22:10

Well daisy, he is a man! Mine has learnt to stay well clear when I look stroppy!

derlor · 09/05/2007 22:11

sorry Daisy - mind you i think it was Friday??? that holly and i were both refering to our DP/DH as twunts - it can all change so quickly round here huh!!!!
