That one is very pretty too... looks great with a tan I reckon! Get thee some St Tropez! Seriously though.. good to accessorise with, lots of colours, you could always pick one of the colours from the dress to accessorise with according to your preferred colours, the aqua colour or the pink or the green....

MrsFish · 19/06/2007 17:08

I certainly don't look better than a model... maybe if I was 6 inches taller

Pennypops · 19/06/2007 17:08

Sophus - I am due on 5th as well and have saved up 2 week hols so I can quit at the end of July. Having a few weeks off might be a bit dull but it will also be hot and personally there is NO WAY I am commuting in that heat. I guess it depends on your journey in every day and how much energy you have.

I can see the allure of 4 day weeks now but the thought of a few weeks off to prepare myself does it for me.

loobybump · 19/06/2007 17:09

just trying to make us feel good :-) i was on about earlier looking at other womans bumps to make sure mine looked normal typed in worse bumps ever on google that made me feel good too! ha how shallow!

SeamonstEr · 19/06/2007 17:11

At least if they look fat or carp they have no excuse.
You will both look beautiful and blooming and people will tell you how great you look. The thin people probably won't get told this.
You must practice looking smug that you don't have to starve into your dress and can eat what you like and enjoy it.
You will not have to hold your belly in worrying about a slight bulge (ie a healthy tummy).

MrsFish · 19/06/2007 17:13

All good points seamonster

MrsMar · 19/06/2007 17:13

I tried the second blooming marvellous one on, it looked terrible on me but I have hips the width of Tower Bridge. It was very bias cut and clung to me making my hips look even wider. It's a lovely fabric though, very pretty! If you aren't too hippy (in the girth sense, not the pot smoking free lovin' sense) it's really lovely and summery!

loobybump · 19/06/2007 17:14

very good point!

loobybump · 19/06/2007 17:15

wish i could be hippys with free loving pot smoking bit!!!! especially today! LOL

SeamonstEr · 19/06/2007 17:15

i'm of the latter persuasion. only without pot

MrsMar · 19/06/2007 17:17

lalalala I'm off to twist flowers in my hair.... anyone care to join me in making a daisy chain?

loobybump · 19/06/2007 17:18

Glastonbury this week we could all go camp it up and make daisy chains!! :-) wish i was able to go this year!

MrsMar · 19/06/2007 17:20

oooh no, glasto full of pissed up idiots who think it's hilarious to piss on your tent in the middle of the night and steal all your stuff. I'm an old Reading fogey though!

MrsMar · 19/06/2007 17:26

It's all about the music maaaaan!

loobybump · 19/06/2007 17:27

hahaha i went glasto 2 years ago i had such a gigglen didnt sleep for 4 days.. getting the practice in! never done reading probably wont now for a few years! i might put a tent up in my back garden and play my cd player really loud and sip herbal tea and pretend lol!

MrsMar · 19/06/2007 17:44

I must admit my glasto experiences were a few years ago when the fence jumping was at it's height, so lots of idiots there. I'm such an old fogey now that the V festival is about as radical as it gets (not that i'm doing it this year, can you imagine it?? three weeks before due date? in a tent? in a field? peeing every 20 minutes? In those loos?)

sophus · 19/06/2007 19:12

i read yesterday that i can expect to put on another 12lbs between now and due date. Can someone tell me where it is going to go???? there's a bit of room on my eyelashes, and i could grow my nails a bit i s'pose but otherwise there is no room for another flipping 12 lbs. I s'pose my nose could grow a bit, although it's a bit of a honker already.

canadianmum · 19/06/2007 19:14

Hi all, I am actually envious of those of you going to weddings, I LOVE WEDDINGS but all my friends are married, although some will be going for the second ones soon . The dresses are all lovely, and I am sure you will all look wonderful .

HIWBB - I know you posted about this a while ago, but just wanted to say a huge well done to you for helping all of those people, I am sure they really appreciated your compassion and skills. I took a first aid course for babes and children during my first pregnancy but tbh I can't really remember a lot . Does anyone know if first aid is on the school curriculum? It should be.

I actually had a crap week physically last week and am feeling a lot better this week. So it is not all necessarily downhill from here!

Spent some time today ordering hideously expensive uniform for both my boys who start school in September (yes, two of everything). You first timers will have THAT joy to look forward to in 4-5 years
time!

I have gone for the Mountain Buggy with a carrycot attachment for my pram, it is hideously expensive (£500) but I do a lot of walking and they are fantastic buggies and I can sell it on Ebay when i am finished with it!

SeamonstEr · 19/06/2007 19:15

boobs, arms and thighs
and if you're really lucky, face.

SeamonstEr · 19/06/2007 19:16

I want one of those but am not allowed.

EdieMcredie · 19/06/2007 19:21

Loobybump just seen that you are an estate agent?! Im thinking of going into that line of work, im a mental health nurse at the moment (how different?!)

Is anyone else experiencing loads and loads of movement? Sometimes it feels like she is moving all day long. Plus, DP called her tonight and she kicked!!! How fab is that??!!
