Chattyhan · 17/05/2007 09:52

No problem it's actually nice to forget about it for a few mins and feel like i'm useful for something!

loobybump · 17/05/2007 09:55

Bless. Well you are v useful hun well you have been to me! . if only we could have a glass of red wine on days like this eh!

Chattyhan · 17/05/2007 09:58

believe me if it weren't for the thought of wasting the rest of the bottle i would have had one last night - a cigarette too if i could have found any!!!!

Hopeitwontbebig · 17/05/2007 09:59

Chatty, just read your other thread with horror! It does sound like he is going through some sort of personal crisis at the moment. Seems like he is prone to this from what you were saying you went through when you had DS1. I agree that it would do you the world of good to get out more and meet more mums, just because they're mums doesn't mean that you'll be living a frumpy boring existence, we're great! It would also help you with networking which could ultimately result in you getting a part time job somewhere. This will definately improve your self esteem which has to have taken a knock through all this, let's face it, you're only human. Be strong (you obviously are), he'll eventually realise what a lucky man he is. I'm glad he read your thread and it made him stop and think. He sounds like he's getting carried away in some sort of unrealistic fantasy world. It's very hurtful what he said about that other girl, I do feel for you. I truly hope that everything works out for you. In the meantime, make sure you come on here for regular chats. x

Hopeitwontbebig · 17/05/2007 10:02

ccpink - I'm glad you found out the information on SPD, hopefully you'll get some joy from your midwife. I was only thinking about your Mum this morning, I was going to post and ask you how she was! That's such fantastic news, I'm so happy for you

loobybump · 17/05/2007 10:17

does your baby have a routine of when its kicking you and awake? or am i imagining its doing it similar times for past couple weeks?

loobybump · 17/05/2007 10:26

O and another random question to add to it, is it normal for my boobs to b leaking alreday at 23/4 weeks?

Hopeitwontbebig · 17/05/2007 11:23

loobybump, I think it's not uncommon for boobs to leak at this stage, I have read posts on here before about the same thing. Also, babies do apparently get into a sleep/wake routine around this stage, apparently this is the routine they will be in when they're born!! My little girl is very active between 10-11pm every night!

loobybump · 17/05/2007 11:32

O Cr4p thats not good the baby kicking from 9 till 12 contstant kicks and movements then 4am till about 7 :-( agh! yeah ma boobs leak mainly at night which is odd.

The first time it happened i thought my partner did something in the night as i had white all over my arm (musky white) so i blames him he was like It wasn't me then a few nights later i was just sat down no bra on and noticed it coming out. weird! bonus is they are growing! lol

MrsMar · 17/05/2007 11:39

chatty, so sorry it's all been so tough recently. I've posted on your other thread, so I won't repeat myself. I hope things sort themselves out soon.

Looby - I haven't had any leaking yet, but I have heard of others who have, so I guess it's normal. My baby has a definite routine... He always wakes up around 5.30-6 and gives me a little wake up call, then goes back to sleep until about 9am. He's then quiet until lunchtime, has a little kick about until about 2pm. Then it's another little nap before his afternoon exercise around 5pm for about an hour. Another snooze is followed by another round of organ football at 9pm, a few late evening kicks before going off to sleep for the night. He's always more active around meal times too, maybe he's a greedy begger like his mum!

loobybump · 17/05/2007 11:45

Rin23 · 17/05/2007 12:38

Hi Everyone

Chatty - what a nightmare for you. But, I'm sure it's a good sign he's talking to you, and, as others have said, it's common for people to get a bit nervy about things - I've been feeling that a bit myself recently. Good luck!

I had my own total depression last night when I weighed myself. OMG!! I can't even confess how much weight I've put on. Time to cut out sweeties methinks. Feeling fed up at all the restrictions of pregnancy... and then I feel guilty for feeling fed up!

Re leaking breasts - not had this particular pleasure yet myself (and I did laugh at your initial presumption loobybump!) - but at least you know all's working properly.

Hope everyone has a good day x

MrsMar · 17/05/2007 12:42

thanks everyone... will post with results this arvo... sorry to steal your name as it were HIWBB but blimey I hope it won't be big!!! I'm quite tall, but dh is normal height, I've got a huge hip/feet combo which some think has no bearing on how easy it is to get the blighter out but I hope so. I was a 10lb-er for my poor mum, hoping that's not hereditary!

loobybump · 17/05/2007 12:43

Aw rin iv managed to avoid weighing myself at all my midwife weighed me when i had my first appointment i was 7 and a half now i wouldnt even wanna know as i can tell how much weight becasue i couldnt even pull my skinny jeans up - not so skinny now eh! although i did eat a tub of ben and jerrys last night and they got loads of cals in..! as for boobs leaking i got a feeling its just me then... your time will come. hahah just dont blame it on ur partner as he may get a lill p155ed of at you. :-)

FilBrit · 17/05/2007 12:56

ChattyHan - i think you're being really strong and handling things so well. I'm glad you're going out with DP on Sunday to talk things over, have some red wine you deserve it! and I hope it all goes well and you get the outcome you want and need.

MrsMar good luck for the scan later

As for weight gain - I can't go near the scales I'm too scared! I'm trying to be good but like loobybump am having the odd sneeky ben and jerrys!

Holly29 · 17/05/2007 14:27
