I've not slept at all last night with anxiety for my scan today!! Thankfully it's straight from the school run so I've not got to wait around but my god I am so unreasonably anxious! One good thing though is the snow so far is ok, or will be on the main roads at least judging how it is on our quiet road! I actually feel physically sick with worry today, someone slap me and tell me to get a grip lol!

Fia of course you're allowed to be scared, you don't need a grip at all. If you can, please make sure they know your history when you get there. I'm sure they'll do what they can to reassure you.

You're nearly there now, just a few more hours.

Thankyou all. I'm really looking forward to telling the kids later if all has gone well, they've pretty much guessed due to my bump so will be nice to finally be able to share the excitement with them!

Cuppa is your scan today too? Good luck if it is! I think there's a few of us today Grin

Oh congrats @rockerfeller and @kirinm wonderful news! So good to start hearing lovely news in this thread!!

I suppose this is something I'm going to get used to, being my first baby, but gosh everyone has an opinion don't they? First thing anyone says when I tell them is either "it's a boy/girl" or "oooh are you gonna find out?" "have you got a XXX" I'm like... I've just about let it sink in that it's real, let alone supermarket sweep around Mothercare 😂

Little baby growing nicely! I'm actually due 6th Sept now so that was a plus! Baby was also a very wriggly active one according to the lady doing the scan Grin

Fabulous news Fia you can relax a bit now! Mines at 3 today. Had a rough morning with dd crying at school drop off for the first time ever. Then ds having a full on kicking screaming tantrum at the school gates as he was worried about her. Fortunately at a play cafe with a friend relaxing with ds now. 3pm is ages away Sad hurry up time I want to see whose been causing all this fuss!

Thankyou all, the lady doing the scan said she couldn't be happier with how baby is looking at all was looking perfect. Heartbeat of 165 and she said baby really was having a party in there, it kept rolling around and stretching out etc Grin I do feel calmer but I think there will still be a small part of me that doesn't dare get too comfortable and excited yet! Cyst hasn't grown either so that was a plus!

Booked my 20 week in for 6 weeks time, so that's exciting! And will be going private for a gender scan in 3 weeks Grin my friends mum was working and bless her had rang through to say don't charge for photos so they gave me a whole strip of them for free!

Good luck for this afternoon Cuppa! Hope the rest of the day goes quickly for you!

My scan went well this morning too and they moved me forward a day so i'm 12w+0 today and now due 11 Sep!

Congratulations Muffy!!! The snow is really. Really coming down, just waiting for dhs train and its starting to settle on the roads. If they're running behind we're going to have a nightmare getting dd on time. Really stressing.
