Oh all these scans are fabulous! @monathemoaner I've not slept in days worrying. I keep expecting the worst and am so apprehensive about tomorrow even though last week baby was fine.

Sun is coming out here too, just as well as I'm due in London for the next couple of days and didn't want to be stranded!
For anyone yet to have their scan, don't do what I did and forget your maternity notes! I blame getting out of the house with a toddler in the snow but there's no excuse other than (residual and new) baby brain.

Think im celebrating birthday tomorrow. So im home most of the day and hubby is too. Scan on Thursday is a plus 😁

@Namechangedtoscream I really hope everything's fine in there but until you see and hear that heartbeat there's nothing that will calm us. My last scan would be exactly three weeks from my last scan so I'm also praying everything will be fine.

Urine test needs to be redone next Monday on doctors orders but no other information. Any idea why that may be?

Most likely either a low markers for infection which they dont have to treat until its over a certain number or contaminated sample (mainly from discharge in pregnancy)

@LostMyBaubles That's very reassuring! I'm assuming I'll have a urine test on Thursday at my dating scan too along with bloods so I'm sure if it was serious it would pop up there too.

Mona, I didn't have a urine test. It was just a blood test, weight, height and blood pressure.

@kirinm Did you need a full bladder for your scan? Dreading that! I need to pee constantly do a full bladder is risky and physically hurts a bit.

I need help regarding MATB1 Certificate. My clinic and midwife are Barkentine clinic East India. I am 13 weeks 2 days Pregnant and my due date as per first scan is 1st September 2018 and as per my LMP it is 10 th sept. To qualify for SMP my due date should be 2nd September so basically having short of only 1 day. Can anyone suggest me which date midwife fill in MATB1 Certificate (EDD as per Scan date or LMP Date) and if I would request them to fill the date in that form 2nd September instead of 1st.

Kindly help I am very confused now as just for 1 day I will not get SMP.

No sure why it's rotated. But here's my baby! A real actual wriggly baby!! In my tummy!! I still can't believe there's a baby inside. My due date has been moved forward a day so the 5th now.

Had a nightmare getting to the scan. Left my bag with my notes in the cafe. So after waiting for dhs delayed train ran to the cage, snow starts coming down again to the point I could barely see. Roads are getting covered in snow. Decide to abandon getting to dads to watch ds and bring him with us. I was not a happy bunny! But all worth it when I saw that wriggle baby.

I've had some brown blood today. The rational side of my brain is saying it's normal, it's old blood it's nothing to worry about. But I can't help but worry.

I haven't mentioned it to DH yet either, he's at work and has his annual inspection today. I know he'd only worry.

I left a message for my midwife earlier but I've not heard from her. Not sure what else I can do really, just trying so hard not to worry.

How long have your 12 weeks appointments been? I need to know how long so that I can book time off.

We don't get our notes till after the first scan here! Midwife sends them to the hospital after booking in appt so that was one less thing for me to remember

jellytots they were absolutely fine about it. I wasn't thrilled about taking him, but he was very quiet for once. It wasn't at the hospital either, just a medical centre, so only one other pregnant woman. Mostly people with medical issues. Brown blood is old, but hopefully the midwife will get back to you for some reassurance. I'm sure it's nothing, but stressful!

@loveulotslikejellytots I had some brown spotting on Thursday, did some research and best explanation was that it's the placenta attaching at 11 weeks (which matched dates for me)

I'm 10+2 so I suppose it could be that. It could be anything and I'm sure I'm worrying for nothing, I just wish my scan date would come through.

Had Iona Test today at 10+2. Baby measuring slightly ahead at 10+6. Saw it wriggling about waving it’s arms! So relieved as had a MMC with my first pregnancy in August and I turn 40 in Sept - 2 days before baby due!

Just got to hope results low risk now
