Daisy you'll be fine! I'm sure it won't be like that! No teens at this class.

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 21:50

Re sex before six week check...I was told it was better to at least have a go before your six week check so you could report any problems.....

bumperlicious · 30/04/2007 21:51

Right, really am off now. Night all x

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 21:51

I'm booked on a baby massage course...did it a bit with DS, but he was quite old when we started and was just too damn wriggly...

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 21:55

I really want to go to bed too, but I can't bear the thought of being so uncomfortable!

doggus · 30/04/2007 21:57

Thanks, bumper, and yes I am going to get one of those slings. Sputnik says to order it direct I think, telling them you are part of mumsnet discount. Sleep well.

Daisy - that makes sense re giving it a (very tentative) go before six weeks. I am off to the GP tomorrow so will ask HV - I want to do baby massage too!

Night all, going to catch up on Sky Plussed telly!

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 21:58

IKWYM Foxy...my hips have been seizing up in the night and I wake really uncomfortable and have to roll over, which I'm sure you all agree is like a military operation these days. Read something that said try sleeping on a folded up spare duvet to cushion you a bit....but spares are in attic. Might try it with sleeping bags instead and see if that makes a difference.

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 22:04

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 22:11

Well done Foxy......

riabutterflew · 30/04/2007 22:12

Hi all. What a busy couple of days!

Baby massage is fab, but I had to do it to DS1 so he didn't feel left out and he was 7 at the time! I love holistic stuff - started a course last year but had to give it up when I got sciatica as couldn't drive to get there.

Sorry I can't reply properly - too much gone on for me to keep up with. DH was in twunt camp last night -I slept with DS2 which was damned uncomfortable but warmer than sofa. Have had to start being nice today as we have been shopping. No smock-tops left in my size in Matalan though. They had a colour that matched my Crocs too...(I know they're controversially bad, but I have that thing where you get pains in your heels that I can't pronounce, and they are the comfiest things I have ever worn pain-rellief wise.

Suppose I must go and be nice to Dh as we have loads of jobs to do tomorrow.

Don't care if i never have sex again.

P.S. I LOVE big pants!

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 22:13

Right...off to bed with my book and some herbal tea. Hope Holly's DD is OK.

riabutterflew · 30/04/2007 22:13

Glad to see my typing hasn't improved. Must practice more!!!

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 22:17

Big pants. from matalan. the best.

evening ria. hope things are ok in the Butterflew camp. did your DH see my DP whilst at Twunt Camp? He was there for most of the weekend

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 22:18

Hi Ria...bye Ria...not ignoring you, just off to bed.

Couldn't Matalan order it for you....they have a website...you could maybe order it and have it delivered to your local store?

Never tried wearing crocs...have a feeling they might be a bit sweaty, no?

G'night all....will be conspicuous by my absence tomorrow as I'm going to clean and tidy and iron and sort.....if you see me on here before 7:30pm, tell me to bugger off

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 22:19

not like Holly to be so quiet of an evening. especially as her DP is away ... ooo eer, I hope everything is OK after the hairslide swallowing ...

Hollyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy????

Daisybump · 30/04/2007 22:19

bugger...as soon as I mntion bed, the fecking heartburn starts up...and I'm not even horizontal yet

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 22:19

i need to go to

night all

sorry to abandon you Ria, but I've been on here for about 13 hours now

foxybrown · 30/04/2007 22:20

You too? shit, how do the little farkers know?

Seansgirl · 30/04/2007 22:34

Now theres a challenge Daisy! Bet you can't resist!

Like Ria, just have not had time to catch and may well give up. Poor H&A! Ouch! Not a nice thought for DD!

Just drinking my milk and then having a bath to try to stop my achey hips in the night, with you both on that Foxy and Daisy!

Is it too early do you think to start our 10 top things we're looking forward to after we've had LOs?

Night all xx

riabutterflew · 30/04/2007 22:42

I did so well and now can't keep away!

Will look into ordering with Matalan - the woman I asked didn't know if they would get any more or not. Helpful. As I can't get into my La Redoute account tonight I'll check out their site instead and save "free" shopping for tomorrow.

Just watching Footloose - hmm. Am glad I can't swing from a bar like that! Love Joseph - saw it last year with "H" from Steps. FAB. Would love singing along.

Don't think DH even knew he was in twunt camp - came home from work 3 hours after he texted to say 20mins and fell asleep!

Keep me posted on the York meet-up. Might manage that, although I get a bit freaked out by cities. Dh could take the kids to visit the dreaded ILs while I shop and do nice things, and then I wouldn't have to drive either.

Am definitely off now. If I appear early tomorrow tell me to bugger off too - need to get on with list...
Night all. X

riabutterflew · 30/04/2007 22:52

BTW, crocs a little sweaty, but ok with socks too, and the best thing is you can rinse them out at the end of the day nd hang them on the bath taps to dry, ready to be fresh and lovely next morning. I LOVE them. I will be sad when I can't buy them any more - might stock up... (can always send DM to NZ to get some more I suppose...)

Definitely goodnight!

bumperlicious · 01/05/2007 06:17

Argh, up early again! This time with what I think are braxton hicks, but it's hard to tell as I am just so damn uncomfortable all the time not sure I can differentiate. Plus waking up in pain in the middle of the night things always seem worse. Must have had at least 3 though. How do you know what are BHs and what are the real thing? At first it was just bump tightening but the last two were definite period type pains down in my lower uterus.

Well, as I am up I might as well bloody go into work early!

bumperlicious · 01/05/2007 06:27

Btw foxy, would you recommend the homeopathy for labour?

fatcatkin · 01/05/2007 07:24

Morning all. I've decided to not go to work today as I felt so ill yesterday. Didn't sleep well and feel rotten today so i'm staying at home to make myself feel better!

Can't believe there are 200 messages on here already!
