OMG you lot have had a busy day...never realised what 'rebels' we were by choosing something slightly sarcastic for our thread title. And here I thought everyone in the UK was well familiar with sarcasm (whereas back in the good old USA people tend to lack the skill to recognise it). Maybe too many Americans hanging about this site??

Holly, many congrats to your DD for alleviating all of our worries. And an ABC triumph on the same day. Wow.

Re nursery deco, I'm in love with bunting. About to hang some myself - just can't decide if it should be with the new baby (i.e. first in our room, then in the nursery) or just installed in the nursery from the beginning even though she won't be there for a bit...oh the dilemmas eh

reluctant as I am to give in to pressure, have just read CuriousSquibs post on 'that' thread.

Does anyone think we should change it for her sake? Its one thing to cause offence and get up peoples noses, but I don't want to make anyone actually sad?

Crashing in from the May thread to say I was rather at the reaction to your thread title! I think sometimes people forget about the purpose of MN iykwim? And some of the comments made on the other thread were totally out of line!

Anyhoo, am due 24/05 and being a first timer will probs go over so I may infact end up with a junebug baby

Yes Cod was being sarky! It did all get a bit mad over there tbh, but that's Mumsnet for you sometimes isn't it. But glad you have a new thread and can all be left alone now.

Thomcat, its the other ante-natal groups I object to be called Wankers. don't care what anyone calls me (well, lard-arses wouldn't be nice, but that's cos its true)

anyway, seems I got it all wrong anyway.

Can you all please OK the new thread title because I can't cope with going through this again and now i feel a bit like I want to cry.
